After upgrading to version 1.11, the camera doesn't work as well as before. Sometimes it won't run, sometimes the camera application closes leaving some of the camera bacground. Anyone having the same problem?
May be this is software related...

On my Compact V I've installed Tomtom 7. It works perfectly, but there is one small issue. The indacator for the satelliets shows never a connection, also when there is a connection.
After all it doesn't really matter, but it's a small thing, and I was wondering whether I am the only one woth this rpblem

Works fine on my TD2, and displays the satelite status just fine in the bottom right. Download the file from the link, can copy the .exe and .chk files over the top of the ones you already installed.
After installing the TD2 tools, its also simple to setup to get it auto rotating to landscape mode.
mmm that doesn't solve the problem for me. In my current version I've installed a fix with the audio, en in the new version that fix is not working. Plus I have to activate the maps..
Anyone who has another solution?
I use the exact same version, which works flawlessly...

After I updated to that version, I did not need to reactivate the maps and I dont seem to need the audio fix as it seems fine in that version without it. I am using the TESS essential V2.F rom, so maybe thats why its all ok on my phone.
I had same problem with the older versions, but after update to 7.916.9189 it was solved
version 7.9 shows satelite information and fixes perfectly.
Anything lowever then 7.9 doesnt show satelites.
I would upgrade to 7.9 anyway, the layout is so much more better for full touch screen.

Let me say out of all the WM phones I used over the pass years, this is the best of the best. I love everything about this phone. The only thing I dislike is the lagging of the GPS, I used, Garmin and IGuidance 4.0 and there is at least a few second delay in making turns. I even used the tweaks, to disable GPS logging etc. and still not much improvement. Can any one help. Thanks in advance, you guys rock.

You mean external GPS ? Or built-in GPS? I'm on Verizon and using the built-in gps there is very little if any, lag.

Try running QuickGPS if you haven't already. It comes preinstalled on the Sprint Touch Pro2.
ya im sprint...use garmin agps off... use it daily m-f 8hrs plus..never had a issue...
I know this is an old thread, but I'd like to share what fixed my problem in case others are still having this problem with GPS lag.
I tried everything people suggested, modifying the registry, turning off logging, etc.
I flashed the radio rom to the latest Sprint Radio. The VZW radio was what was causing my GPS lag problem. I had a similar issue back when I had my touch diamond too. a new radio flash fixed things.

What version of the radio did you install? Are you saying the Lag is completely gone(no delay any more) ????
This and the FM radio, would make it one of my best phones yet.... (I had my titan maxed out when I had it)
Folks, I just installed Skype on Locerra's CM9 latest build dated 08/15/2012 and noticed that with either the front or the rear camera my video appears truncated and seems to use only half the screen off the P6800. Did not get anything on the development thread for the issue, is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Uninstalled current Skype version, installed older version 2.1.0.46, then upgraded and it works fine now.
Many people have the same problem as I do with xperia l. Any game which uses dual joysticks or both fingers for movement and aim will cause each other to be affected such as suddenly stop moving and such even though the multi touch test shows nothing wrong. Now after researching, the only solutions I found for 4.2.2 with latest official firmware (which is what I have) are;
1) downgrade to 4.1.2 (which I'm not a fan of)
2) you can't due to the hardware (which I doubt because some people don't have the problem but I don't know what they're running)
Now I want to clarify for certain what is a proper fix for this. The OI gaming rom or something said it fixed the multi touch problem but is it the problem I have or the old buggy problem where you couldn't even use both your fingers at the same time?
Can someone just tell me that if I flash a custom rom, will the problem still persist? Or is it truly a hardware problem?

It is a hardware problem...
Latest stock firmware (.17) seems to tone it down a bit. Its still there.....but much,much better then previous firmware.
(and i dont know what are you talking about 4.1.2 because the multitouch is 10x worse there)
Im on stock .17 and i can finnaly play FPS games just fine with minor multitouch issues....
And no....custom roms wont help.
If this is a hardware issue, is it possible to use a joystick instead? I haven't seen anyone test this. And all I have is one of them usb controllers but there are apps that allows it to be a usable android joystick. My only problem is that it emulates the touches, would it be affected by the hardware issues?

I have been using Xperia XZ since few months for now and I have several issues. Now I'm using stock oreo modded with Stock Light Patch v7.3, but my problem also exists on eXistenZ. The main issue is that my phone randomly drops wifi. I've tried many solutions from Internet including even apps like wifi fixer but nothing changes.
On AOSP that problem doesn't exist and wifi is as stable as should so I think that problem is only with stock. Has anyone experienced that issue?
On AOSP i have another problem. My problem isn't caused by camera app, because some work very well on AOSP. The issue is that if I take pictures with front camera almost all of them are blurry. It looks to be autofocus problem but I don't know what to do. I've tried pie, Q, O ROMs and issue always is the same.
Sometimes when I take few pictures on AOSP, suddenly I can't take more and nothing helps. Has anyone found a solution to my problem and could help me?
