Is it possible? - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

Hi,
is it possible that you have got a special profile in SetCPU or something other, that when the Camera-App starts it sets the clocking to 600 MHz?
Greetings...

don't think

No

why is it impossible?

I've heard it's possible to do such tweaks, but I don't know how and I don't think you can do it with setcpu app. A long time ago when I read the changelog for a custom rom devs claimed that cpu was set for 800Mhz, for the camera.

With SetCPU, it was a example. I only asked, whether it works....

I'm using Galaxy Note and the kernel I'm running for the moment is not supporting 600Mhz, but I tried it with 800Mhz instead using the app Tasker. Started Camera and cpu was set to 800Mhz, and when I quit camera it went back to 1600Mhz =) I'm not sure if Tasker is stable with cpu profiles or not, but tried the camera a few times and it worked on my phone those times

so next time I have the answer for the question like these

1. "+" to add a new profile.
2. Enter profile name and accept, or just accept.
3. In "first context" window tap on "application".
4. Select Camera and accept.
5. In "task selection" window tap "new task" and accept task name.
6. In "task edit" tap "+" and then "misc" from the "select action category"
7. Tap "cpu" in "select misc action" window.
And here you can use the magnifying glass to access compatible cpu settings for your phone. Set min. and max. frequency to 600000. And except.
Tasker will override the SetCPU app settings while Camera app is running and then go back to SetCPU apps profiles automatically when exit camera app. For this profile you don't need to setup an "exit task" =)

SETCPU

Does anyone still use SETCPU?
Just curious... Tegrak has been great.

So you only use the profile options? What about on screen 1. 1000 200

Just set to max/min(1444/100), on demand.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk
But set max min only 1000/100 not 1440 ???

I am also using tegrak to overclock.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk
Tegrak is a little more in depth over Set CPU. I used SetCPU before I knew about Tegrak, but now its honestly obsolete imo. I did buy it but I dont use it anymore.
Of course I could always revisit it in the future if I ever buy a non galaxy phone that Tegrak doesn't work on.

Nokia profiles on android

OK so I've not had a Nokia (e71) for 3 years but wondered if u can replicate the profiles feature (silent/vibrate/meeting/normal/loud) on android?
Think I looked around a while back but couldn't see anything but its bugging me again on ICS for some reason... cheers

I actually saw an app for that, see Quick Profiles in the market. CM7 also has profile menu on its settings.

Best paid CPU controller

Antutu paid vs set CPU
Which is better ?! What are the pros and cons? Opinions?
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
Set CPU works fine for me...all I want is one thing, change the speeds that's all. But for a user that wants more options then they would probably chose antutu

I used to use SETCPU, but finally I found that the battery life was almost the same as the situation when I did not use the SETCPU.....So I gave up at last and let the phone run as it was..

The problem is I over clock and use a beta rom.... so its a bit buggy and if I can't sew my ghz live then I won't be able to trouble shoot so easily.
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
what i think is.. just use the "matched" radio and kernel.. and the battery will be at its peak.
Set cpu and check cpu tuner...

I used to use SetCPU until I realized it was the culprit in a lot of my stability issues so I switched to using the kernel tweaked in liberty rom toolbox

Thanks for the input . I hear that the set CPU dev isn't good at responding. Any thoughts?

Cpu tuner it's better than set CPU..i used it in my x8..stability issues are occurred..so i prefer CPU tuner..

Anyone know of a mod or app to shut off the soft(copasative) lights on my evo? I don't need them.

If you are running cm7 or cm9, check out this guide for dimming the screen, just set all the button values to zero and the soft buttons won't light up anymore.

Theres a app called screen filter that lets u turn them off

you could always install MikG 3.11 and run Miktweaks which is built into the ROM; it has the option to disable the illumination for those buttons.

You've gone into the advanced settings and checked the adjust soft key box? Then set the frequency to always off.
You need to check lux to never be killed. Then bring up the dashboard and refresh you lux value and then the settings should stick. I've found that at night the capacitive keys turn back on though.

You can try the link button to match the settings to a particular lux value. Honestly it took a bit of trial and error to get the settings to stick.
Do the steps before open the dashboard, let it adjust the value. Set your default back light % and then link it. Mine eventually stuck. As I said at night they still come back on. Go figure !

You can just disasmble the screen and take out the light filters for the 4 keys! That's what I did.

Installed it for you. But im not a chess player. Ran it on 4 cores (i9505) and saw for the first few turns values of arround 680 but i think when there are more difficult turns it will get higher.

Okay I set the cores for 8, although only the four A15's are ever going to be on at once...
Played a quick game (I'm rusty and at 100% that was just silly) Saw 740 once, couple mid 500s, and mostly 300s.
On main screen move some piece then press "M" and select analysis mode

OK thanks for the testing guys...:good:
Can someone with i9505 (the quadcore version of S4) please exactly report the nps (nodes per second) from initial position (or arbitrary position if picture is provided)
with 1 thread
with 4 threads
In analysis mode (click M -> Analysis mode)
And also if you could mention your firmware version... (e.g. MDE)
I am trying to troubleshoot something and your input would be quite appreciated, thx...
I wanna try on my k20 pro...give link for droidfish where i can configure it to 8 core
