Original captivate lockscreen (glass+puzzle)

Does anyone know a way to get the original captivate lockscreen on a custom rom? Or know any roms that contain it?
This was the glass lockscreen with puzzle pieces that take you directly to a missed call or sms. (different from the regular puzzle lockscreen many roms currently have, that are puzzle even with no missed activity)

allllllot of roms have it as an option im prettey sure cm7 has it but not 100% and if your confident with bootloaders and going to gingerbread subpression and simply sgs2 both have 9 lockscreen options including the glass and puzzle locks

It doesn't. Along with a laundry list of other things.

I also have been looking for this to add back to my custom ROM. I am on cognition and the glass screen provides no puzzle piece link to missed calls or texts. I like the puzzle lock on this rom though.
I was previously on Continuum v4 and v4.1 and that rom DOES have the original samsung glass lock screen. Overall though, I prefer cognition so I can live with the puzzle lock which does do the links to calls or texts.

Look for a rom that has it. Most Tom's with multi lock screens have it as an options except for CM Tom's which will never have it as it is a touchwiz feature

Andromeda 3 has it and several others.

[Q] Sense 4: Lock screen -> Home screen dizziness

Sense 4 ROMs are pretty nifty, but I'm wondering how I can make it so that, when I swipe the lock screen, the home screen doesn't come spinning at me.
I'd prefer it just to appear without spinning. I turned off animations, but that didn't help with this.
Actually, I think stock Sense 3.x might do this, too. I can't remember.

every sense rom does that from 3.0 to 4.0 all sense based phones do that its a built in animation , it cant b removed
try turnin off animations mayb tht wll work , but i m prety sure that it cant b removed

Leedroid Tweaks Doesnt Work ON SENSE 4 , They are For Sense 3.6

You'd have to head on over to the EVO 3D forums and find out; the mod was made on an EVO 3D.

For info, Leedroid will be on Sense 4. But only for the One X, as J4n87 said he wont port Leedroid tweaks to sense 4 on any other devices.

Since it's been a couple of months since I started this thread, I thought I'd repose my original question.
Have any tweaks appeared that will permit me to disable the lockscreen carousel effect on Sense 4?
I really like the various Sense 4 ROMs that are available, but I really *don't* like the spinning carousel when I unlock the screen.
I know that there's a LeeDroid tweak that does this for Sense 3.x. I'm asking about Sense 4.

Thanks for the reply, but the animation option doesn't affect the lockscreen carousel. In fact, animation is the first thing I always turn off, since I prefer a really snappy response to a lot of wiggly effects.

If you are on ordroid I know you can go into the included tweaks app and disable unlock animation under the sense ui tab of the app

Hey Guys just wondering if there was any way possible that we could have the Multi-Window feature that the Galaxy Note 2 and Note have..Our screen is smaller than there's but we should still have enough screen real estate for such a thing no??

I know from Incubus26jc JellyWiz thread that he is working on it with PureMotive and it will be a new Rom named WarmFourPointOne :victory:
They both always delivered the best Roms, smooth fast and stable.

The ROM that had me root in the first place was Warm TwoPointTwo for the Droid Incredible, if the looks and features are anything like that release had count me in!

Not possible I don't believe. Too many framework mods required. Huge reconstruction needed to implement it.

I would actually like to hear from a developer on this question. I don't believe it isn't possible. Ultimately these are all Touchwiz based roms. I realize Samsung changed the framework big time to implement the multiwindow feature, but aren't we still just talking about a collection of individual files?
Frankly, the development for this phone doesn't seem up to what I had with the Fascinate. Lots of awesome devs making great roms, but the roms have all the mods cooked in. It would be nice to have mods as flashable zips. It would free people up to pick between more roms. I feel like with the Fascinate, I could just install a debloated stock rom and install every mod I wanted, and only what I wanted. With the GS3 I feel you just have to hunt for the best rom with the mods you want, even if that means taking mods you don't.

Flashable zip for multiwindow on TW-based Roms.
Flashable zip to implement ONLY volume skip for tracks that works with Google Music
Flashable zip to make the power button the capture button in the camera app
I could keep going, but those three things would make any rom I choose an ideal rom for me.

I just assumed with how the devs talked about how hard difficult it was to implement that that wasn't possible. But what do I know I'm just a regular guy that loves to flash. Of course multi-window wasn't a thing back then. But it did seem like every mod that existed for the Fascinate was available to flash via individual zip files. Maybe I'm not looking deep enough through the themes/apps section, but I find very few mods that aren't themes.
Didact74 made an AOSP lockscreen mod, but it isn't just a mod that gives you the standard Android lockscreen. It's been modded and extra functions have been put in. I remember having a vanilla AOSP lockscreen mod with the Fascinate. I also was able to get a mod that gave the volume skip for tracks function, and it worked with Google Music. I have not been able to find that for the GS3. Fortunately, that seems to have finally become a standard feauture baked into most roms. Even though with my mod-choice worldview the roms probably should offer a checkbox somewhere to disable that mod.
It just doesn't seem to be too high on people's lists here....to get these mods in standalone files. Choosing a rom becomes more about finding the rom with the right combination of mods in it, rather than the normal "differentiators", appearance, performance, battery life, stock-ness, aosp-ness.

First, I wanted to mention that I hate that crap watter ripple, second I wanted more choices of lock screen for this rom, remember that the User ofeliax fex a lock screen for XXLSC rom. I urge someone to mod this size for our galaxy note lol.
