Panorama as wallpaper - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Does anyone know an app or way to set a very wide panorama as the wallpaper? The default scroll only covers a forth of the picture. I wanted a pretty drastic shift in the image.

How to even get wallpaper to scroll?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

The only way I could find to have the home screen scroll was by installing go launcher... I didn't see any way to do it stock... Even using go launcher, I don't see any option to adjust the amount of scroll.

Have you tried reducing the number of screens you have?

I think that only affects how much it scrolls screen to screen. The more you have the less it changes screen to screen, etc

What is this screen...

And how do i keep it from coming up? It shows up randomly while plugged in and it goes to it everytime i hit the home button. Ive tried resetting all defaults on any launchers and any accuweather apps. The only way i can get rid of it is to either hit the back button all the way to the home screen or reset the phone

Ics has an option under settings. Display. Weather. To enable or disable this.

I think that is your dock screen. I had that problem with a powerskin battery. The phone thought it was in a dock. I replaced the powerskin and it went away.

[Q] No lockscreen security

I've never felt the need to put a pin/password/pattern on my lockscreen before, but today I tried enabling it for the heck of it. I found out that I couldn't. No matter which security setting I use it doesn't work. I'll set up a pin or anything else, lock my screen and when i press the power button it goes straight to my homescreen. How can I fix this?
What build are you running? Need more info

Don't know if this helps but, I used to have a corrupted partition caused by the Note modem that took away my lockscreen and extended power menu. Fixed it using Icenight's fix.
Do you need any other info?
Nope, already out of ideas....sorry
Kind of has me stumped. Mine work great as far as I know

You need to set the lock screen to immediate. It's in the options after you set a security lock screen

Haha, it's cool. I will usually answer questions that have a thread title that will be helpful when other people search. So if someone has the same problem and they search, this thread will pop up for them.

Touchwiz drawer speed

Does anyone know how to change the speed of the transition effect for the drawer button? I just love the transition effect and would like to slow it down just a bit.
Thanks in advance

Settings/Developer Options/scroll until you see "Window Animation Scale" and "Transition Animation Scale" and change as you desire.

I think you're the first person I've ever seen that wanted to make that slow animation even slower

Honestly I don't think there is a way to change it. I use nova launcher and it let's you do pretty much anything including what you're wanting to do. You can even make it set up the same way so you won't even notice its not Touchwiz. I know it isn't the answer you're looking for but give it a shot, if you hate it you've only wasted the time to download it and tinker with it but if you like it then well worth the time

Oh you meant the app drawer? My bad, I misinterpreted what you meant. Like others have said, I don't know of a way to modify that speed.

Remove home screens using TW launcher

Ok, I'm feeling like a complete noob. I'm using the Sugsonic ROM on my 7'' Gtab, which is based on stock JB. How do I decrease the number of home screens? I know how to add them but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove them. I asked over in the ROM thread but got no answer. I know it has to be something simple that I'm just missing.
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
Did you try pinching your current home screen? Stock tw-ics shows all screens zoomed out when you pinch and you can remove them from there.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
That did it. Thanks man.

Phone slow? GET SEEDER!

Alright so I was browsing droid life and looks like someone that hated the lag on their phone decided to get to the bottom of it and fix the issue so along came this awesome fix. Try it I'm sure you will notice this speed boost.
* There is an app you can download but for me the app doesn't work so its a safer bet to just download the zip file and flash in recovery, make sure after you flash that you wipe cache/dalvik.

So how do you turn it off after flashing it? With the app itself?
Edit.

Mine kept returning to "off" as well so I returned it. While on it did make quite a difference though. Can't say for battery life since I didn't have it long enough.

Yea when you turn on the app and click to enable, don't press the back button this will go to your previous spot which was before you enabled the mod. Pressing the home button keeps it enabled.

Jcase says it is a placebo along with many other devs so I'm not buying that it helps.
This does keep the entropy buffer a lot higher then it would be stock with minimal usuage. I did notice a little difference but not much. If you wanted to keep the entropy topped out at 4096 you can simply "echo 1366 > /proc/sys/kernel/random/read_wakeup_threshold"

Also a Google Dalvik engineer has said that it's a placebo, which is pretty damn authoritative. Sure it'll keep the entropy numbers up but it shouldn't matter...
