Does anyone know how to change the speed of the transition effect for the drawer button? I just love the transition effect and would like to slow it down just a bit.
Thanks in advance

Settings/Developer Options/scroll until you see "Window Animation Scale" and "Transition Animation Scale" and change as you desire.

I think you're the first person I've ever seen that wanted to make that slow animation even slower
Sent from my SCH-I535
Haha right! For some reason I just like it.

Honestly I don't think there is a way to change it. I use nova launcher and it let's you do pretty much anything including what you're wanting to do. You can even make it set up the same way so you won't even notice its not Touchwiz. I know it isn't the answer you're looking for but give it a shot, if you hate it you've only wasted the time to download it and tinker with it but if you like it then well worth the time

Oh you meant the app drawer? My bad, I misinterpreted what you meant. Like others have said, I don't know of a way to modify that speed.

Im in the middle of porting over the "9 lockscreens" from KB5 and the samsung vibrant with the help of Whitehawkx. Patience is key on this one, our framework is really odd and to be honest. Its kicking my ass.
Thank you nop

In the mean time, can you point me to the default TW lockscreen so I can hopefully make a backup of it and use it for ROMs that use the AOSP lockscreen? Or better yet if a quick and easy CWM zip could be made.
The lockscreens and dialers are the parts of TW that I actually love.
any progress on this?

Chill man, I'm sure Nopcodex is doing what he can.
can't wait for this!! it's gonna be awesome!!
I will be a very happy camper when this gets done, I hate the stupid glass lockscreen!!
Try widgetlocker. It is on the market.
Erik
Don't attack me lol, but find the "ripple lock screen" app (from honeycomb) quite satisfying. Try it out. Nice and clean

If he is taking the time to do this for the community, you don't ask for ETA's. You just be thankful for them when these generous developers release it. Thank you.

WidgetLocker FCs whenever I get a text (Handcent) and leaves my screen on all night. Sad face.

This should be in themes & apps.
Moved.
I've never felt the need to put a pin/password/pattern on my lockscreen before, but today I tried enabling it for the heck of it. I found out that I couldn't. No matter which security setting I use it doesn't work. I'll set up a pin or anything else, lock my screen and when i press the power button it goes straight to my homescreen. How can I fix this?
What build are you running? Need more info

Don't know if this helps but, I used to have a corrupted partition caused by the Note modem that took away my lockscreen and extended power menu. Fixed it using Icenight's fix.
Do you need any other info?
Nope, already out of ideas....sorry
Kind of has me stumped. Mine work great as far as I know

You need to set the lock screen to immediate. It's in the options after you set a security lock screen

Haha, it's cool. I will usually answer questions that have a thread title that will be helpful when other people search. So if someone has the same problem and they search, this thread will pop up for them.

Does anyone know an app or way to set a very wide panorama as the wallpaper? The default scroll only covers a forth of the picture. I wanted a pretty drastic shift in the image.
How to even get wallpaper to scroll?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
The only way I could find to have the home screen scroll was by installing go launcher... I didn't see any way to do it stock... Even using go launcher, I don't see any option to adjust the amount of scroll.
Have you tried reducing the number of screens you have?

I think that only affects how much it scrolls screen to screen. The more you have the less it changes screen to screen, etc

In a some ROMs (CM10, Paranoid, Beanstalk, and I'm sure there are others) under: System Settings > Developer Options
Change the following from 1x to 0.5x:
Windows Animation Scale
Transition Animation Scale
Animator Duration Scale
This speeds up the animations and makes the phone feel a little faster. You can also turn the animations off or slow them down by increasing the value.
No reboot required for settings to take effect.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
I just tried it.
But it looks kinda weird...
Little too fast animation??
I think I should use it for one more day and decide which one I prefer more.
Thanks for info though
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
Ya. It is a little awkward at first. But after running it all day I'm used to it. And it does make the phone feel just a bit quicker.
There is a similar setting in some launchers to increase animation speed. But these settings change most of the phone animations
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
I really like the effect. It's better than turning them off completely.
Indeed. After running it for a few days. I am used to it and it definitely makes the phone feel a bit quicker. I enjoy it
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
Yeah
I'm still running like that from few days ago. I already got used to it.
And it does feel quicker.
I knew about this before but it was just to weird at that time so I set everything top default after few min.

Yeah man! I tried it feels wierd at first but then got use to it.
This has only just started since I flashed CM11 from temasek.
Anyone know how I can turn this off? I can't seem to find a setting for it.

That's a feature in his ROM. You have to go to settings->temasek spare parts->screen and animations->lockscreen notifications. There you can turn it off.

If you want to see something really crazy, try turning on the listview animation and listview interpolator. These are in the screen and animations settings.

You will know as soon as you scroll your screen. I don't personally use it but a lot of people like it. Give it a try. Set listview animation to scale and interpolator to anticipate_overshoot_interpolator.
