Why would you hope that happens? That's just letting apple have their way, so whenever they don't like another company, they can just get there products banned. If they don't like competition maybe they shouldn't be in a business.

How do you know it's low? What if Samsung is truly stealing apples property? Doesn't matter how small it is if it's not theirs. I certainly hope this isn't the case but who knows? Samsung and apple are the only ones that know.
If I were samsung I would just stop selling them parts.
Then they'd be sued for breach of contract.

How about an insured owner that puts in a claim for a new rocket? That's the scenario that worries me if the injunction goes through
Still nothing. Insurance claims would still be honored. This would only be for new sales.
There's a slight difference, if the phone is discontinued they will provide you with a similar or upgraded phone.
This happened to 1 of the phones on my account. Put in a claim to find out they couldn't replace it with the same model but they sent me the upgraded model free of charge and was still able to keep my original upgrade date which was 6 months later.

If this goes through, I'm literally going to explode. I know Samsung will once again top Apple in the bear future. When you see an apple fan boy trying to prove that iPhones are better he/she says "just wait for the iPhone 5", but we know it won't take Samsung very long to top it. Apple makes phones only about once every two years. And the "new" phone is usually just the same phone you already had, just in a different color/with one or two additional non-groundbreaking features. Samsung is always putting out new phones, and if Samsung doesn't beat apple then HTC or Motorola will. Apple's flaw is making the same phone over ans over again so when the newest one comes out your old one is soon rendered inferior. When Samsung started making the LTE GS2, the standard GS2 still was just as durable. Samsung made the S3, and the S2 certainly isn't surpassed by it. And Samsung has a variety of phones available. With apple you only get the 1, 2, 3, or 4, but why would you get an older model iPhone? The newest one is exactly the same with an improved display and is slightly thinner.
Sorry for the rant, but this whole Apple suit has had me pissed off.

This will be overturned. The foreman was a patent holder: should not have been selected.
They also didn't even read the instructions. The damages were calculated because they wanted to punish Samsung, not compensate Apple.
Also, read up on this one court case... I can't remember the name right now. It's Someone v Borland.

Yes, time for the patent troll to get trolled back. Hopefully this patent trolling can come to an end soon. I'd much rather see companies work to innovate instead of trying to sue one another. But seeing that Apple's plan is to sue to competition out of existence instead of innovating, then I support Samsung.

I support Samsung but unfortunately the same thing will happen as always happens in US when apple use someone else's patents, the itc or a judge will rule those patents essential or say apple don't infringe.

Honestly if the iphone goes or vice versa it would be bad for the economy with all those iphone lovers and buyers out there. The only reason the economy didnt suffer as much is cause the banned phones were not flagships like the gs3

The shortage is because LG and Samsung don't want to sell huge quantities of Nexus phones, it undercuts the sale of their overpriced branded phones so LG and Samsung are rationing their Nexus phones. Merry Christmas from LG and Samsung, Ha Ha Ha!
