A lot of the people that make apps are here on xda. Real people make them. There are tutorials all over Google on how to edit apks, but honestly I hope you are too stupid to figure them out, because I have a feeling you would like to learn how to create Warez of your own.
Developers work countless hours to create these apps and by using Warez not only are you stealing from them, but you are disrespectfully spitting in their face.
I'm hoping that you are just a noob, or a kid that didn't know any better whom has now learned your lesson and will reconsider your acceptance of Warez.

I don't think its fair of you sir to assume what I am asking for guidance on. Perhaps I didn't want to follow a random Google search and wanted to learn from the professional people here at XDA, obviously your not in that group.

I see that in the thread with the rooted phone title, he was completely in the wrong. Sincere apologies.
I don't see why this post is such an issue, he simply asked for an application editor or program and asked people to PM him, he did this in fear for a response like above, calling him a "stupid newb" or accidentally posting a link that may violate the forums rules.
I'm certain if he had a different title, there would be no issue... I can see how it could be misinterpreted, but its just a boys imagination running rampant.

Since this has caused such an issue. May I request on my sons behalf that the thread be deleted so there is no further conflict.
My son does not want anything to happen to his account, he said he will not post material that may violate the rules.

I believe some members that have posted in this thread have also violated some forum rules....

Tv out control isnt built into any of sgs4g ics's...i have an ics tablet that has tvout always on...seems like an easy fix. But then again i havnt developed anything but a headache.

Yes it is that damn hard to change the 1 to a 0. Because that is not all it takes.
If you think it is all it takes setup a build environment fix it and submit the changes to team acid. Otherwise STFU. There is more important things going on in the development then to turn on the tvout ability for you.

We explained him it's not that simple and that it's 'on the list'.
The guy complained again about not having this functionality.
The guy went into dev section ROM threads posting "your ROM is incomplete! it doesn't have TV-out!"
I have his trolls on both my latest ROM threads.
Next thing the guy says "I'll fix it myself" (in a childish manner) though he said he doesn't have a clue.
So who's trolling who ? my ETA request was a joke, in case you haven't realized it.

Members the OP has a valid point. But as the Moderation Team has pointed out, please utilize the report button and or PM any one of the Moderation Team Member. We will address and deal with any type of Forum Rule violation. And assist within thread maintenance...moving/deleting.

I do not advocate this is any fashion. This forum does not work this way. There is to be no gang-type of vigilante justice as it is not welcomed here.
I still believe that the Report button should be used as a first line here. If something can be answered, the do it and be helpful in 1 or 2 posts. If things get out of hand, then use that button. That is why it is there.

So with that being said, ANY attempts to subvert these rules will result in an infraction for one or more members. In the amount of time it takes to post some belligerent post, you could have helped the person and moved on or simply ignored the post and moved on.
IMO, the Ignore function is far under-utilized in the forum. I can think of several members that should use this function ASAP with regards to each other.
I revised this to make sure it is clear that flaming is not tolerated at all. As I said in a PM to hechoen, "If you want to teach them something, then either teach them how to do what they want and hopefully they will in-turn teach someone else, or simply ignore them and they will learn for themselves."

i am new to xda-developers and it says i am a "junior member" (whatever that means) so i can't post and reply to developer's post. so i decided to post my thread here instead. i hope it doesn't bother you. ok so i am developing an app that will look like windows app store but instead users can download free paid apps and tweaks to customized their windows OS. (this is just a brief description)

it is NOT that serious. i needed a post count so i can get off "junior member" but i've read a post that tells me to answer questions in Q&A lol. i hope there's a lot of iphone or android posts/questions.
If you want help doing this, you'll have to look somewhere other than xda. This is a site for developers, so you're not going to get a friendly response when discussing piracy.
