[Q] medical students

Hi every one.....i m a medical student....n i hv an issue...how can i download some paid medical apps for free specially oxford handbook of medicine n physical examination...can any one help me...also if.i wnt to download paid games for free...pl any one

Read the rules of the forum please. No posting links on warez. If you really want that sort of thing then use Google.

Try and use 4shared app from the market for a lot of free downloads,ie apps and games.

Guys... you're walking on thin ice here... this is turning into a warez discussion. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the agony of getting flamed, warned, or banned. XDA is a clean forum... what you're asking for will essentially end up as piracy.
The internet is a big place. I'm sure you'll find your answers there. But try not to drag xda into the piracy quagmire.
I hope you understand.
P.S. : And for God's sake, take that "Medical Students" tag off from your thread title. It's insulting and shows the medical community in a bad light.

2) I agree with enigmaamit no need to flaunt that you're a medical student... Its not really relevant to what you're asking... It's just bragging

Yup @dan, day job's that of a doctor (hence the twitter nick - see sig!)... nights are when i prowl around here, and feed my passion for tech.

Your best bet is a site dedicated to things like that, such as (assuming you will pay $): https://www.odesk.com/. We have a certain level of restrain and dignity on xda-devs, no "hey you, feed me, now, k-thx" type posts allowed or tolerated.

A lot of the people that make apps are here on xda. Real people make them. There are tutorials all over Google on how to edit apks, but honestly I hope you are too stupid to figure them out, because I have a feeling you would like to learn how to create Warez of your own.
Developers work countless hours to create these apps and by using Warez not only are you stealing from them, but you are disrespectfully spitting in their face.
I'm hoping that you are just a noob, or a kid that didn't know any better whom has now learned your lesson and will reconsider your acceptance of Warez.

I don't think its fair of you sir to assume what I am asking for guidance on. Perhaps I didn't want to follow a random Google search and wanted to learn from the professional people here at XDA, obviously your not in that group.
Maybe I asked people to PM because of people like you bashing on "newbies" and didn't want to be harassed. You assume I am using or asking for "warez".. first.. I'm not sure what that is exactly. Second now you have scared this thirteen year old boy into not even wanting to come on this forum.
EDIT: before there is any confusion. This is my sons account, he came to me and said there was a mean man on here that called him stupid. So I decided to come on and see what was going on. I apologize if he was trying to do something wrong. But he simply did not know it was wrong.

I see that in the thread with the rooted phone title, he was completely in the wrong. Sincere apologies.
I don't see why this post is such an issue, he simply asked for an application editor or program and asked people to PM him, he did this in fear for a response like above, calling him a "stupid newb" or accidentally posting a link that may violate the forums rules.
I'm certain if he had a different title, there would be no issue... I can see how it could be misinterpreted, but its just a boys imagination running rampant.

Since this has caused such an issue. May I request on my sons behalf that the thread be deleted so there is no further conflict.
My son does not want anything to happen to his account, he said he will not post material that may violate the rules.
As you can see, the forum members have shown appreciation for his contributions through the "thanks meter"

I believe some members that have posted in this thread have also violated some forum rules....
2.4 Personal attacks, racial, political and/or religious discussions: XDA is a discussion forum about certain mobile phones. Mobile phones are not racial, political, religious or personally offensive, therefore none of these types of discussions are permitted on XDA.
2.5 Courtesy towards other Members: Treat new members the way you would like to have been treated when you were a new member. When dealing with any member, provide them with guidance, advice and instruction when you can and always with respect and courtesy. Never post in a demanding, argumentative, disrespectful or self-righteous manner.
I hope the same infraction is placed on these certain members as it was placed on my son. I believe this would only be fair.

Dear xda,
I'm not sure if this is in the correct area, so please move to appropriate forum as needed.
I'm here to ask about the apparent lack of support for the xda premium app. I bought this app to support you guys and what you do because I believe in what you do. However the app itself had not been updated for over 8 months? This is kind of ironic given xda is about android development, yet the mobile app is not what we would expect from this great community. The reviews on the play store only confirm that the app is in serious need of an update.
I'm not bashing the app or the supporters of said app. But I am concerned that after paying for this, to help with its development we as customers have been neglected.
Please can the xda team provide a response to this query.

Does the app need updating? The money from the app is to support XDA as a whole, not just to pay for development of the app.
I bought the premium app and the premium HD app just to support XDA, even though I use tapatalk too access the forums when I'm mobile.

So if you did use the xda app for the purpose it was created for you would want it to work properly? Yeah I thought so...
