Anyone know of a way to get the ICS Calendar that came stock ported into CM10? I have looked at other ones but this one seems to be the best out there.

Hi guys (and girls?)
I traded my beloved Nexus S for a superior Infuse, and my only qualm with the device so far is that I can't seem to find a nice vanilla ROM. I just want plain Android, and HDMI support. I am sick of this blasted TouchWiz. Any suggestions/favourites out there??
I have tried the search function, but couldn't find anything. So far the best/closest I can come to vanilla is a CM7 kang. I don't like CM7. I don't have anything specific against it, I just prefer something plainer.

Hmmm maybe Infused. Yes I know its kind of old and it has touchwiz stock, but it does have the vanilla launcher. You just set it by clearing defaults for touchwiz, then hitting home and launcher or whatever it is called. The whole rom will not change, but only the launcher. Infused is a great stable rom, but poor gtg may not be coming back to update it for fixed hdmi when att ginger comes out.Other then that, I can not think of anything else except CM7 lol. By the way no gingerbread has hdmi except froyo roms and the very latest gingerbread leaks, which can easily brick your device forever with the new bootloader. Be careful lol.
Go for Infused 1.6. You have everything you need on this. But its Froyo, not GB.
The latest ATT Gingerbread release is very stable.
Cranky...
I deleted probably around 85-90% of the HTC files via Root Explorer & TiBu. Everything is still intact except for Play Store & Talk, both of which I use pretty frequently. Does anybody know is there is anything besides the apks themselves that they need to work? I might have gotten a little overzealous & deleted a little too much trying to slim the rom down lol...I'm coming from using AOSP based roms (most recently AOKP on a Galaxy Nexus and have never had this issue after trying to debloat.
On a related note, if you uninstall the stock gallery, you won't be able to access pics from the camera thumbnail preview. If you install everything lockscreen related, it will default to the stock ics one which I thought was very cool.
*Edit - Crap, I borked native screenshot capability now too lol...
just wait a month, I think there will be good aosp roms....maybe even aokp...the rom I like the best...
there is aokp ported for htc one x ....when we got the cwm working perfectly...then it wont be far...
That's awesome news. AOKPs my favorite too. I'll have to search around for a market fix. Thanks for the info. I might just reflash the original rom tonight & be a little more selective with my uninstalls
I am trying to find the ICS keyboard that has the spell checker built in.
like the one in this picture developer.android.com/sdk/images/4.0/text-replace-lg.png
Anyone know where or how to get it?
I am currently running SKYICS and it does not have it.
Thanks,
I know I know why am I cm9? Because it he most stable, period. I have flashed about every jb from out there and none are stable enough for me. I need something I can rely on. Looking to trick out cm9 but can't find anything. Links?

The one thing I don't like most about running custom roms (mainly the CM10 stuff) is that the benchmarks seem to heavily favor Sense roms (4.2K on CM10 vs 6.3K on JB Sense+), the inferior cameras (ICS sense camera is amazing, i'd kill for it on JellyBAM) and since I come from T-Mobile, I miss the 2G/4G symbols whereas everything else has 3G, H+, H,etc.
Is it possible to port any of these over to a rom? More specifically, JellyBam?
Thanks guys,
Greg
Everythings possible but... I doubt anyone would be interested in spending that kind of time and effort for it.
As for camera, there are plenty of camera apps on the market that works very good actually.
And to be honest, I find the camera in CM10 better than the stock ICS one. Not that I use the camera much, but the few testpictures I took came out clearer than the same testpics I took on stock ICS 4.0.4.
