So I decided to try out the Cyanogenmod 9 for my Transformer pad tf300t. Did as the instructions said using twrp 2.0 and booted up and everything. The wifi however would not work meaning it sees that wifi is available but will not connect. I tried using the latest nightly version still no success. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I went back to my nandroid version feeling a little bummed that I cant get this thing going and share in the excitement of more and better features.
Also goomanager no longer works properly as I can't get it to search for available roms.

I am not sure but when i went back to stock it is working fine. I am in JA but i purchased the tablet in the US so it is the US version. But something I noticed between the CM9 and the stock is that the stock showed the wifi version while the CM9 didn't. I was reading about that as well that a fix is to probably change the channel but how do I do that?

log on to your router/ap and there should be a wlan settings pane - and select a channel >12 and you should be ok.
otherwise i would suggest you try termleechs BAKED rom - i haven't tried it myself since my pad will arrive only next week but from what i read it rocks (and his aokp one rocked )

HI - looked in the forums but have not seen anything obvious.
I am on Revolution HD but looking for a way to get back to stock - which in Canada is the US firmware (not the WW). I currently have the WW firmware with some build.prop hacks to make it thinks its US (not perfect but more apps are available in the app store).
Apologies if this is buried in the forms, but if someone could point me in the direction of re-loading the US based firmware in a how-to it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You can look in to here or here (if you can use nvflash)
No unfortunately - don't have the right SBK version

You might see if recover installer has a "stock" option. Or now that CWM recognizes the TF see if it will allow you to reflash to stock.

Yes. Use the first one gls9 mentioned. I used that method a few weeks ago and it worked flawlessly, I'm stock and rooted with OTA rootkeeper.
Sweet Shady - so you followed that and are back to the US firmware (not WW - I thought Canada was on WW but went into Staples on the weekend and checked out one of the display TFs LOL .)
Shady - so did you download the US. 21 from the ASUS site when you were doing This?

I think you can flash all the parts through the staging partition. You'll have to get a US stock rom, pull it apart and repack the parts that you need to replace- probably the EBT/bootlaoder, SOS/recovery, and LNX/boot.img.
Google and search... it's out there.

Use this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154947 I got everything from there.
Also use this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427838 to root the stock ROM then go to the market and download OTA rootkeeper (it's free!) to make a backup of your root. You can then upgrade to ICS, if it ever comes, without a problem.

I was coming from KRAKD. Pretty good ROM I must say. I recently flashed CWM again to install a custom Kernel and now my Transformer flies (with the addition of ADW Launcher Pro)
using the Samsung SAMSUNG Kies I was able to go from ICS back to the OEM ROM. This software detected that I had a different version, and asked if I wanted to install the latest Samsung version. So of course I did. I tried again later after testing another ICS and I tried to do the same, and it did not give me that option. I think I could still of did it suing the emergency recover option in Kies, but you have to get a number from Tech support first I think.
Don't think that will work for an Asus product

Hi there (sorry for my english)
After my Nexus 7 (returning because of the screen lift and touch problem) and the return of my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" (don't like this tablet) i will have in few days the Asus Transformer TF300.
I've read few post here about problem with the update to Jellybean. But does this update is official? I mean, when i turn on the tablet, does this one indicate me that a update is available and start downloading JellyBean?
I like JB (from the Nexus 7), but the problem that the tablet don't wakeup after sleep or the random reboot... What to do with that?
I don't have the keybord, i've just buy the tablet itself.
Thanks!
yes its official and it is buggy as hell, avoid upgrading and wait for a more stable one

After JB, tablet can not find 3G/4G network (wi-fi is working fine). When i try to set APN details...it is not saving just vanishes...So, how to make the APN setting stable.so i can get the 3G/4G network. This issue not new JB, even some earlier version has issue on APN setting.I tried few forums for APN setting.. can not solve the issue.. (I can enter APN setting as my operator suggested...but can not save...)
Any tricks ?
Please help me, with out 4G,the transformer not very useful. Hope i have not missed any info.

In case, Ausus give automatic OTA to JB , not sure what i have to do to OTA JB? Please advise...
Hi,
I am from Singapore too and am using M1 too. I got Jelly Bean OTA alert last week and updated it last weekend and everything is fine..
What i am thinking is that you might have manually updated the TG ver instead of the LT ver which have caused your 3G/4G to be missing. Think you better send it to Asus repair center or revert back to ICS.
I am a root user too but i dont usually change or update my ROMs when there is no OTA for my device.

Think you have to send it back to Asus, you are installing a non 3G rom on a 3g set.... thats why you dont have the 3G option.
The key point is that you have to wait for the OTG alert then update.... dont go and download the wrong verison.....
FYI
TF300T is wifi version
TF300TG is 3G + wifi version
TF300TL is LTE (aka 4G) + wifi version

Hello Bro Flashben,
You are right.I am not aware of that little difference (TG instead of LG). . Today, return the tablet to Asus service center. They may to try to downgrade but NO guarantee for successful downgrade. It takes 5 working day..Waiting with hope.
In the same time, even with TG firmware why Mobile APN can not set..still mystery for me.. (or is it a bug in JB ??)
Many thanks, to all who replied.

I believe LTE aka 4G uses different hardware or software as 3G so that's why it will affect anything that is mobile but not wifi when you update your TL pad with TG version.
Try to look for other downgrade method available at xda forum.

I got my Asus Transformer Pad 300 (3g and wifi) two days ago and it worked fine at home (on wifi)... ad then it updated to Jellybean by itself, and everything was fine till I tried using it on 3g in the city today, and oh the horrors... it works.. but it randomly stops working - no network, just like that. When I try to search for one, it says "Error while searching for network"... I reboot it, it works for a few minutes and off it goes again, but if the wifi is enabled, the network vanishes as soon as I turn the pad on...
Is that a Jellybean problem? I am going to try and replace it tomorrow, and I hope I can stop the update to JB...
Its jb issue.... you need to trigger ur 3g ( off and on again) then its ok.. but there is another update for the kernels then it seems better.

I managed to install the roms; however:
-Grimlock disconnects from wifi every 15-20 seconds - it's not that the wifi radio turns off, it just loses connection and attempting to reconnect gives me a Failed. Turning off wifi radio and turning it back on gives me connection for another 15-20 seconds.
-Xenogenesis seems to take the crazy-screen problem up to 11: I get rapid-fire random inputs in the webcam side of the device for no reason, with no real way to get it back to normal. This occurs both with thatkernelv3 and 10.6.2.3 TG kernel.
Yesterday, I flashed stock 10.6.2.6 and although it still has crazy-screen, it's defeatable by just locking the device and unlocking it again. And Wifi stays connected!

Just to check, are you sure your cwm is completely up to date? It's worth checking into since 4.4 wouldn't flash with cwm or twrp until they were updated.
