OK quick question.
Is anyone using this app?
Every time I go to install it I get a error message reading "Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-09]".
I have cleared market data, etc and nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

I ended up having to unsync my google account in accounts and sync and relog back in and that seemed to work.
I tried downloading other apps before all of this and none on them would install either, hhmmmm.
Yeah it's not with any app in particular. It's just an ICS bug

try clearing the data for the market

reboot and see it that works.

check to see if you can retrieve your gmail. sounds like you are downloading from the market before google syncs to your phone.
What worked for me was not signing in to my Google account through the set up menu... but signing in through the market and everything works fine again.

Had the same issue.
go settings then personal: Accounts and Sync, select google account and delete it. Once done just re add the same account. Works fine.
Add title suggests, my marketplace app force closes when it is attempting to update a previously installed app (restored backup app) or when I try to install something new. It also force closes sometimes when I use Google maps, or any other Google apps.
Can this be fixed? I want to install new things! :-(

I would clear market data and cache and possibly uninstall updates and see if that fixes your issues

I meant from the app in settings but if that doesnt work I would clear from CWM, cant hurt. Otherwise reflashing the rom may help as a last resort
I have a problem with downloading apps from the android market. everytime I try to download one it gets stuck on "Downloading"
Now before u jump at me saying that it is a common problem and that I should search it up, just know that I did search not just here but all over google and did find some sulotions but nothing seemed to work.
some of the sulotions I tried:
clearing data and cache for download manager, market, google apps etc..
uninstalling a bunch of apps and wiping dalvik cache
factory reset, which worked but after a couple of days the problem came back.
I'm runnig MIUI 2.2.3 (android 2.3.7) on my htc desire hd
Bounce
Please can someone help?
You did force close the market and reopen it right?
Also, try a different google account

I don't believe that's the problem because I just found out that I can't download files through the miui browser as well, but I can download with firefox for android. Based on that I believe that it has something to do with the download manager maybe, but as I mentioned before I already tried clearing its data.. any thoughts?
I have this problem on my CM9 Photon....
this is happening on my phone. it's stuck on the notification thing even tho it's been installed.
If you have the dalvik to cache the cache apps won't download

Perhaps you have some internet settings changed through apps e.g. droidwall, lbe privacy guard, tethering apps? When I have problems with market downloads, I have to reboot phone then clear data/cache for download manager and market.
Try using mobile data instead of wifi, or vice versa.

Is there anyway to disable the play store from automatically reinstalling my apps after a flash? Feedback is much appreciated.

But will that make it so the store doesn't remember my downloaded apps in the future?

No, you have to go into menu-my apps then hit the all apps tab. Then you have to manually delete every app you don't want.

Playstore will still remember your installed apps; unchecking restore device will stop Playstore from automatically installing them. He was saying 'no' it will not keep Playstore from remembering you installed apps and told you where to go to see them. And how to remove them if you don't want Playstore to remember them.
Or to say it slightly differently... Unchecking the restore button only stops the auto-restore of your apps on a new ROM. It won't stop Google from tracking your every move and reporting it to the gov't.

Go to "My Apps" and then to the "ALL" tab in the Play Store. Once there find the app and hit the X in the top right corner to delete it from your account on Play Store. Hopefully it will leave in peace.

You may have to do a factory wipe in TWRP to get rid of it. Backup your apps with TiBu first, then restore them.
Or try to find the app or process in Settings > Apps, revoke it's permissions and/or uninstall it.
