Okay Sparky, I'll ask again. What are trying to do, flash a rom, FXZ to stock, or what? And which firmware version do you have, were you running a custom rom before or just stock? You need to be addressed as descriptive as possible, telling us exactly what you are doing, what you have done, and any other info you think is relevant here...

My guess is that they need to read this post......

Look for fxz in this thread. And make sure you patch it, if you are not in the US you will need to get your fxz from here:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
You will still need to patch it with files from the link at the top though.

Yes, you have formatted these partitions, and so the signature check is failing.

Are you saying you can't get into fastboot?
If not, then there is nothing you can do. There is not a way I know of to get fastboot back onto the phone.
What exactly did you do, to get yourself into this mess? That might help me think of a possible solution. Please be as specific as possible.

Good then you can restore your phone back to stock using the fxz. I linked to how to do that already. This will restore your phone back to 100% stock 2.3.5 and you will need to update back to 2.3.6. Did you ever install the ICS leaks? If you did you might have to use my script to restore instead. If not, then the links I gave you should work.

Correct me if i am wrong, but you have to be on ICS leak to flash MIUI, aint it?
EDIT: yeah just seen the MIUI thread.. you have to be on ICS to flash MIUI, learning should be gradual bro and you gotta read before proceeding..

You must be on ICS.. What version of the fkz are you trying to use to return to stock!
Hello, i recently purchased this ME865 and it's a very good phone.. I installed the 4.0.4 ICS Hong Kong from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934874
And everyting went alright, but then i wanted to test this new 4.1 Jelly Bean if it was better, so i installed and no problems.
I didn't like that version much, also the gps didn't worked, so as i read that everyone could downgrade it, i tried to install again with RSDLite the 4.0.4 i installed before.
So the install process finished and when it rebooted it gives me the following errors in Fastboot Mode:
Invalid CG OTV (CG: cdrom): Invalid SP Data
Invalid CG OTV (CG: system): Invalid SP Data
Invalid CG OTV (CG: webtop): Invalid SP Data
Invalid CG Version (CG: webtop)
Invalid CG OTV (CG: webtop)
What should i do now? The phone is connected to my PC and RSDLite detects the device, i don't want to do anything cause i am scared to f**k it up more.
Please help!

Okay, i've read a little and it seems i could try to flash again, so i gave a try, i installed 4.1 again and it seems it works again!

You SHOULD be OK to flash ICS via RSD lite. I am not sure about the error message it gave you before, but make extra sure that you have the right FXZ. If you do indeed have the right one, then try re-downloading the file to rule out the possibility if a bad/corrupted download.

[solved] mtk 6589, sim not detected, baseband & radio loss, invalid imei. After flas
Hello.
I recently bought a Chinese phone MTK6589 (XYZ X1).
The first thing I did was do a full backup with MTKDroidTools.
When you upgrade to the latest official ROM and on the phone, SIM card detected stopped.
Update with backup from SP Flash Tools, but the SIM was not detected.
So as it was under warranty I returned the phone and switch to another.
I got the following phone MTK6589T (Pomp W99), again made an initial backup.
Install TWRP recovery and restart, same problem. Sim undetected.
When trying to install flash backup with SP Tools, the program did not detect the device.
So I had the phone and not the sim calls undetected Radio Baseband & empty and invalid IMEI.
To fix this we need to have previously made a backup with MtkDroidTools and convert it to SP Flash Tool If you do not have the backup, will have to look to find a full ROM for our device.
When trying to flash with SP, giving Error 3013 and did not recognize the device, the solution for this is only the first flash preloader and then again perform full flashing.
I did so but the phone was the same, so keep a thousand forums looking for the solution without success.
So you lost mobile giving, what I've done is a full format from SP flash tool (Format option), to leave completely empty.
And then flash the backup made with MtkDroidTools but scatter loading in the sec_ro and userdata.nvram.only
When you turn on the phone, this recognized the SIM! But was invalid IMEI.
So I went into engineer mode (keypad, * # * # 3646633 # * # *)
CDS info
Radio Settings
Phone 1: Insert the command at + egmr = 1.7 "IMEI1"
Phone 2: Insert the command at + egmr = 1.10 "imei2"
When you restart the phone and everything worked fine.
A greeting
Do you have the complete rom for pomp w99? Would you please post it here? Another thing, what cwm/TWRP souls I use?
Thanks!

Did you backup your LUN5 partitions in qfil? If No, then find someone with same variant and get a LUN5 backup partition which must include modemst1, modemst2, fsg, fsc. Boot to EDL, erase the mentioned partitions and replace with the one you got. If the partitions you get does not match, you may get a OPID error mismatch

You might have wiped your partitions, I think that's what I did with mine.
Is your error:
"Status sec imghdr type mismatch" ?
My advice, stop flashing and start trying to read / back up anything you can.
I made the mistake to go ham (crazy) with trying different things and flashing different files which broke it completely.
Take screen shots of any errors if you can.
