okay so, i got a new optimus 3d with rogers. the only problem was that it had a bootloop. seems i bought it off kijiji for only 70 bucks. i thought it would be very easy to fix seems that i already had a lg p500 and i knew alot about rooting, and android ect. so when i got home i tryed to flash a kdz with marvin. everything went fine until i tryed to turn the phone on and nothing changed. i was still in a bootloop, i have tryed at least 5 other kdz files and everyone still made me have a bootloop. i have no other phone to use so if someone could help me that would be great, this is my last option.
Before all if you can enter recovery mode do :-
factory reset
Wipe cache
Advanced --> Wipe dalivk cache
if the phone still in a bootloop try flash a *.bin firmware

i cant flash a stock rom now.....doesnt boot...gets stuck at bootloop.....wiped cache and data and dalvik chache.still nothing happened...nt showed some error while wiping the data...any solutions? coz i really want my stock rom back!
Can you be a more specific? which Rom are you coming from? Which stock Rom you flashing?
"...The child is grown, the dream is gone..." - Pink Floyd.
thats normal for me. you need to flash a custom kernel after you flash stock rom via odin to boot it up. flash stock, wait till bootloop. take off battery and put back. get to download, flash kernel.

cm10a4 is the key point. read cm10 thread op. this happend show u never read enough.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
try flash xxkpq with pit then bam kernel then cm10a4.
Repartition from odin would be the best solution... i think.
avoid using bootloaders while repartitioning from a4 to stock or a3.. that step cost lola his phone.. theres a risk. its better to not try the pits.. just flash stock.. and a kernel later..
Sent from my GT-I9003 using xda app-developers app
did you use the bootloader file when flashing back to stock rom? you better not use it in my opinion. lola have said in the jellybam thread that you can only use the bootloader in froyo roms.

I think installing clockworkmod for wiping isn't an option. The op flashed stock Rom probably because he wants his warranty back
Installing clockworkmod again would void it again. If the stock Rom you downloaded is the one you had before rooting, then try flashing it again. If it's not, then download your originally out of box stock Rom and flash it with Odin.
Like...the same baseband version as the one you had before any modification of your system

You need to wipe it otherwise it won't boot up and if you had cm10.1 you must wipe your internal sd card to
if you install cyanogenmod and you odin back to stock rom the stock rom will simply not boot if no wipe was done!!!

There are no my contry ROM. I stucked with bootloops and debug options OFF. What to do???! It's driving me crazy...
After almost two weeks of seeking for solutions all over internet, the problem was solved. First of all there are no way to root without debuging off via odin o any other tool. All what you have, is just to look for your original firmware of the phone, and it supposed to be four file package.
Looks like:
FULL_CSC_I9105PXXAMC2_I9105POXAAMC1_I9105PXXAMC1_DBT.tar.md5
FULL_MODEM_I9105PXXAMC2_I9105POXAAMC1_I9105PXXAMC1_DBT.tar.md5
FULL_PDA_I9105PXXAMC2_I9105POXAAMC1_I9105PXXAMC1_DBT.tar.md5
s2ve.pit
In this case it was german phone so files end with DBT.
CSC - as CSC
MODEM - as CP or PHONE
PDA - as AP or PDA
and pit file for re-partition.
The name of whole package is GT-I9105P-DBT-I9105PXXAMC2_Service-Firmware.zip
For those asking for delete dalvik/cache/factory reset, the solution is - RE-PARTITION!
I used also option Nand Erase All, just to be sure I delete everything.
All other operations goes as usual in Odin.
I can't post links here, bat me mercy on those looking for solution for days and weeks long.
So here is link that I found on some forum that leading to (thanx Goshhhh!!!) to Google docs, so download was just 5 min. long.
Here is German (DBT) package, and some other usefull links. Use G. translator to understand.

Yes, I would like to know also! I am trying the opposite and trying to upgrade my US version of 4.0.4 to the UK version 4.1.2 which is suppose to work, but I can't seem to get my USB to be recognized when I am in the Download mode - Funny thing, the USB is recognized when directly connecting to my computer (ie MTP) and via Kies, but not in the DL mode or Odin.
But if 4.0.4 is more trouble free than 4.1.2, maybe my problem is a good thing?
Edit: Figured it out - I was in Recovery mode instead of Download mode - oh well, 4.1.2 is a little nicer, with a few more features, not notably faster that I can tell as of yet, but I need to play with it, since all I have done so far is to go through it and make sure things work.
I was hoping for multi-window support and better wifi connectivity, but no joy - maybe better wifi after a few more days?.
Does anyone know if 4.1.2 will allow the tab to support 64gb card? I thought that was one area where 4.1.2 had over 4.0.4
