How to Install :
Download ZiP file and flash it with Recovery (xRecovery or CWM)
Manualy install Theme,Home,Icon & Widgets :
1-Download ZiP & Extract it to your SD Card
2-Copy FiLES to /system (Recommended : Root Explorer or ...)
3-Now Set Permissions to rw-r--r-- (Both files) & then move them to "/system/framework"(for theme) or "/system/app"(for home & other) & replace them
4-Reboot your phone
Change log v2:
*6 new icon in style Xperia S
*New lock screen in style Xperia S (if you install the Blue theme then your lock screen is blue)
*contacts widget in style Xperia S

Hi, i know that is for 2.3.3 Stock but i would testing on CM 7.2 104 ROM because i have an ARC launcher and there is working on CM7.2 104...

I was so eager to install the home.apk....
so I copied to system and changed permissions and moved it system/app...
rebooted phone...
FORCE CLOSE....
I had nothing to do...no apps, launcher, only mounting usb storage...SHOCKED
then coped the xRecovery zip of default launcher and installed it

Please say me how do I install the new xperia s home????

Found it! forgot to mount r/o in root explorer.

[SOUND-MOD][6/26/2012] anonymous sound mod-beats style

there are already a lot of sound mod out there. aside from the original beats audio mod from rockodev, we can also find xLoud, srs mod, and off course megabassbeat which I've given to you the modified version in this forum. however, none of them comes with a "style". most of them are works in background as a lib and framework files. no one could see if that mod is already installed or not since we can't see any new apps installed. so, here comes my sound mod. the idea is to make a mod which not only give you an improvement on sound quality but also add more style on your device. this mod comes with all binary files, lib files, framework files, and everything you need to improve you device's sound quality. it also comes with a beats sound enhancement app and a beats styled media player. try it, and you'll find the differences.

important notes:
1. if you're using stock rom, please delete music.apk and music.odex in /system/app.
2. if you have dsp manager, clear you app data and uninstall it.
3. the beats enhancement app is not from me. its comes from aya.yaya in galaxy fit forum. here is the link for the original thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1627288
4. there's a bug in the beats enhancement app. if you're using my media player don't set the dynamic range compression at maximum.
5. I still can't decide the mod name (lol). I named it anonymous sound mod but if you have another idea please contact me or you can write your suggestion below.

another music player. this is blue themed miui music player. the original theme is orange but I made it blue to match the music player in first post. you need to push it into /system/app to install this music player.
EDIT: I found this app on market. its an alternative for dsp manager in case if it didn't work or you want to try another eq app. you can install it as usual app but you'll need to uninstall of freeze your dsp manager.

Hey thanks for the nice sound mod its working I can feel the difference.
but I just want to ask about the 2 apk files (in system/app folder) other than DSP manager and music app. These 2 apk files dont get installed as I can't find any of them in settings/applications. Also if I click on them, system doesn't ask to replace any app it just asks if u want to install. For any other apk file in system/app folder if you click on them system asks weather you want to replace the already installed app.

Yeah I know that but those two apk are not getting installed. They are there in the system/app folder but whatever they do is not being done as they are not registered in the system.
Its like if we push broken apks in system. I hope you understand.

audio1.apk is comes from xLoud mod while audio2.apk is comes from htc beats audio mod. in every sound mod contain xLoud and beats audio you can always find them. they're kind of half installed into the system. you can check into data/data. you'll find a folder named, com.htc.musicenhancer. thats a prove that the apk is installed into the system but only partially working.
don't worry about those apks. in this mod the real working parts is the framework file in /system/framework. you can't see them registered on the system but you can check whether theyre installed or not by checking in to /data/dalvik-cache and look into the dex file for the framework. you can safely delete those apks but I can't guarantee that this mod is working as good as before.

5. In app killers, data cleaners or autostart managers, add ViPER4Android FX to white-list.
6. Use system app manager to clean data of ViPER4Android FX.

8. If you do not have the folder make one .
8. Reboot.
9. Open ViPER4Android FX and start adjusting effects.
The effects will work on all places including third-party players,games(except Voice calling)

With this update you will no need to install anything cuz now all in one .
Intsallation Note :
1. Use the V4AManage to uninstall the driver then uninstall the V4AManage and the V4A app
2. Restart
3. Now install the new app
4. It will ask for root access grant , Install the Driver ( The App will ask you to install 3 times you only need to install 1 time )

I installed it on my tipo single.
Although it keeps saying "Viper4Android/Kernal" folder is empty, the sound is AMAZINGGGG after I tick on all the features of the Viper4AndroidFX app. I'm using TTPOD and the sound is just immersing! Love the BASS especially.

However, I'd like to use the irs files too. On my mnt/sdcard there wasn't any folder called "ViPER4Android". So I created one..Then created a subfolder Kernal, inside which I put all the .irs files. Still the viper app didn't recognise the irs files and it is calling the folder empty. Can you give a solution for this?

Wrong spelling please change "Kernal" to "Kernel"

I had AC!D audio engine V7 for xperia pre installed.
And now ViPER. Both of them make an awesome combination Never knew my tipo could sound so well.
For purple walkman, xloud always remains unticked, it is by default on and can be switched off by the phone sound settings.

You got a setting call extraloud or something you can set to extream and x10 you will feel very loud sound but only with speaker .

To have the clear bass and xLoud you need to do it the manual way that will take time and risk and there is a option that work as xLoud in the V4A App but only available for speaker ( For Music Player only ) .

When i enable"convolver" and choose an impulse, there's no change in sound.
I can see a list of hundreds of irs samples, but the sound remains same when I choose any of them..

hey i got some problems on latest version FX and xHiFi.. im using poweramp and its adviced to use compatible mode when using poweramp but when i enabled it the effect is gone.. tried safe mode too.. i got it working on normal mode but the effect is sometimes disappear when i enable-disable it.

PROCEDURE
---------------------

1. Download XyrusOS.zip and put it in sdcard.
2. Install Custom Recovery like CWM Recovery / TWRP Recovery.
3. Switch off phone and goto recovery by pressing volume "-" and power on button at same time.
4. Select Factory Reset / Wipe Data option from recovery.
Code:
WARNING : This step will delete every data of your phone like apps, contacts, messages,etc.
So have a backup with you.
5. Then select "Install Zip" from recovery and flash XyrusOS.zip.
6. After finishing reboot the phone.
7. After first boot install dependencies of Xposed framework ( press Install/Update inside framework option ) and Viper4Android ( click yes after app launch and then select "Cortex A9/A15 with NEON" ).
8. Select the primary storage from Settings.
9. Done!!

CRT off animation is buggy . It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
So if you don't want CRT effect at all then flash [COLOR="YellowGreen"]No_CRT_Effect.zip[/COLOR].
But if you want to enable it again then flash [COLOR="YellowGreen"]Enable_CRT_Effect.zip[/COLOR].
[B]CRT effect is enabled by default in the rom[/B]

you can try direct flashing without factory reset. it may work because this rom is bassed on stock rom

Just open the app . Click Yes And then Select Cortex A9/A15 with Neon option . And reboot the phone

i flash this rom on today mrng...every thing is fine but i hv one problem..i use xolo play stock rom s014 update rom and the sound is very good in bass but this rom has not good sound like s14 stock rom ....my head is getting pain for hearing his sound in headfone but before that this sound is very good speically bass..pls help can u fix this

PROCEDURE

1. Download XyrusOS.zip and put it in sdcard.
2. Install Custom Recovery like CWM Recovery / TWRP Recovery.
3. Switch off phone and goto recovery by pressing volume "-" and power on button at same time.
4. Select Factory Reset / Wipe Data option from recovery.
Code:
WARNING : This step will delete every data of your phone like apps, contacts, messages,etc.
So have a backup with you.
5. Then select "Install Zip" from recovery and flash XyrusOS.zip.
6. After finishing reboot the phone.
7. After first boot install dependencies of Xposed framework ( press Install/Update inside framework option ) and Viper4Android ( click yes after app launch and then select "Cortex A9/A15 with NEON" ).
8. Select the primary storage from Settings.
9. Done!!

Yes You can flash this ROM using ROM manager as rom manager just sends a command to installed recovery to install selected zip, it has nothing to do

2) can swipe2wake or doubletap2wake be done on this phone? (it would be really cool)

[APP] [4.1.2+] [ROOT] Stock Browser and Music Player for S7262

Hello, I own a Galaxy Star Pro (s7262), it is a great budget smartphone from Samsung which houses with 4 inch of capacitive touch screen, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internet storage memory (with SD card support which is expandable up to 16 GB) and 2 MP of camera. But it has many disadvantages mainly the absence of Stock Music Player, S Voice and Stock Browser, and there is no possible way (for now) to install them directly.
It took me many days to find the apps compatible with S7262, so please be sure to thanks! :laugh: also i provided pics for the steps to install..
NOTE: Your device must be rooted in order to install the apps.

I haven't used your apps. Someone made them for another device and i ported them nevertheless i have given credit to him on my thread.

Yes, the music player works fine, its just that music library cannot be updates with this phone atm, because there are no files for it available which are compatible with s7262, nontheless the music player works fine and fast, so enjoy until its fixed, ill keep u updated when it is fixed, tho i cannot promise you when or will it be fixed.

I know that no one care about this phone anymore>-<
but I am dying here I need stable browserand
