Hello, I own a Galaxy Star Pro (s7262), it is a great budget smartphone from Samsung which houses with 4 inch of capacitive touch screen, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internet storage memory (with SD card support which is expandable up to 16 GB) and 2 MP of camera. But it has many disadvantages mainly the absence of Stock Music Player, S Voice and Stock Browser, and there is no possible way (for now) to install them directly.
It took me many days to find the apps compatible with S7262, so please be sure to thanks! :laugh: also i provided pics for the steps to install..
NOTE: Your device must be rooted in order to install the apps.

Now what i did was extract the stock android browser from one of my old android phones and tweaked it a little, so its now compatible with s7262 and i changed the icon to S browser Icon and ported some S Browser UI into this one, so it will resemble the S browser (a little), so enjoy until i provide a working S Browser for S7262

Yes, the music player works fine, its just that music library cannot be updates with this phone atm, because there are no files for it available which are compatible with s7262, nontheless the music player works fine and fast, so enjoy until its fixed, ill keep u updated when it is fixed, tho i cannot promise you when or will it be fixed.
I know that no one care about this phone anymore>-<
but I am dying here I need stable browserand

What you'll need:
A Windows based machine
xUltimate v2.2
Patience
Process:
-Unzip xUltimate v2.2, and launch "Main.exe"
-If everything goes well xUltimate should recognize the phone and make a connection. You now should see a list of options.
-Run option 1, 2.
-Now these well take a while. Run option 3.
-IMPORTANT: After you have run option 3,
-Now run option 4, and wait.
-Exit xUltimate, and put the phone in USB mass storage.
-Go back into the xUltimate folder and copy "done_frame", and "done_app", and move them to the root of the sdcard.
-Open a command prompt, and do the following:
adb shell
su
stop
mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
rm /system/app/*.odex
rm /system/framework/*.odex
cp /sdcard/done_app/* /system/app/
cp /sdcard/done_frame/* /system/framework/
mount -o ro,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
reboot
and voila your phone is deodexed

It's not bad. First of all I think you should replace the 3d gallery to Quickpic, and add another music player. Don't remove the original launcher, because it's important for the kies.

I used Mortplayer, but it's very slow (since the 1-2 months update).Nowdays the best media player is the Power AMP, but it isn't free, so you need crack it, but I think it is the best option, we needn't crack it and everybody loves it
If you don't want crack it, then there are the mixzing, it's free and fast but it isn't very beatifull.
So I think the Power AMP is the best.
By the way, add the adfree too, it's a very good app ;D

Nobody should use cracked apps in a ROM. And you should know that and not even suggest something like that. Everybody can find the right "sources" if someone don't want to buy an App - but you should buy though and support the dev - and not even think of including a piratated app into a ROM.

Those are easily available in this forum. Check it out.
I tried it's good rom, I think it looks better if there are any modification, for example htc theme, or any themed firm.

Music seems to work if you select via songs but crashes if you try by album. Also I had no luck at applying any type of theme elements except wallpapers.

Ok. Bad things I seen on first use:
- adreno egl is not enabled (its libgles android)
- very slow response on all things (its becouse no hw aceleration?)
- lightsensor auto levels is not good (levels is 2 steps down)
- gallery not working good (when I go to sd card wallpapers and go to folder up, pictures is displayed for about 1 sec and than galery app going "byself" one folder down... repeating)
- system/about_phone/ram is 512mb
- tools/monitor app is not translated
- tools/firewall is not translated
- keyboard special chars like #@$%^&*@! can not see, so can not sign in to google account becouse no @... no space bar
Good things:

Yes partially working I only tried to select album until sobe posted then I tried to select from song list and played.
In regards to the keyboard it does show full keyboard in landscape mode so I was able to log into my google account and and it did sync my calendar and contacts.

Regarding adreno200.so i can provide you but i don't verify it can work on this device.
Slow respond you may need to turn of your animation
New version will be bring into and hoping fix the rest and thanks for feedback

what about 500 Mb RAM shown? There is 120 Mb hidden in any place?
The adreno200 libegl libs didn't work, requiring some change to the kernel(guess)... here's the error:
cannot locate 'gsl_memory_alloc_pure'
Due to it's a port cm9 fix mainly frm them and i hope cn solve n might resolve it

Before Installing this Rom install this modem(BOG5) using Odin[doesn't need again for 1.1 version to install].

Make backup (i.e Samsung Cloud backup)
1) Put the zip file in your SD Card
2) Reboot in Recovery Mode (use Philz Recovery)
3) Wipe Data, Cache (click clean to install new rom)
4) Install the ROM
5) Reboot
6) First Boot Take 12-15 minuet, Be patient.
Fix:
1) After first boot install this Clock fix through recovery.Here

It can also be removed by setting a wallpaper

Q: Every time I delete a song from my phone via this music app, I have to grant the permission to delete every time, can I grant a permanent permission?
A: Yes you can, starting with v7.1 since I added the MANAGE_MEDIA permission.
You can grant it by searching for "Media management apps" in your phone´s settings app and allowing the music app to manage your media

It isnt a bin file, it is an apk. Either rename .bin to .apk or try to use another Browser, some browsers download apks incorrectly as .bin files

On Sony Devices you need to uninstall the unmodified Sony Music player first, it might not be uninstallable in which case your only option would be to uninstall via a root method. I do not own an Sony Device so I cant give clear instructions.

Thank you for responding. You're right, its not possible to uninstall the factory version of the Sony music app only disable it. I thought this might be the case (°.^)

My device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 lite (SM-T110) running android 4.2.2 jellybean on a deodexed rom (root+twrp).
So... on the video it's shows a error when it starts. Sorry for my framerate. I'ts from my screen recorder.

only one thing, the app stops immediately after switching to another app if i pick music files from file explorers.
however it's not a big problem i can ignore it.
Edit: Found a workaround for it. after picking up a music file from a file explorer, if i open the side menu and go to settings, then open the status bar and click my music form there, i will be returned to the main playback screen, then i can switch to other apps without crash.
My Phone: XPERIA Z3 Running LineageOS 18.1
Unfortunately the mod can't play .Aiff files (Which is 90% of my music database on my phone). Works fine with .WAV and .MP3 files for whom it may concern.

This permission request comes from android not the app itself
Is it possible to ask for a permanent permission?
Finally Working version i found like 5 year old that was work but here we have the newest version (Tested on OnePlus 7 Pro Android 10 ) , also i found a little bug i don't know if it's releted to this port or it relatred for app but i think it can be related to port since 5 years old version don't have this bug afther i minimize song the cover change to default on old version is working propetly
Edit: Afther reinstaling app now everything is working like it should be
