I just read this on Android Police and seemed strange that they are already releasing the kernel source and the U.S. version of the 6210 is still on HC.

That just doesn't seem right. I've got two Samsung tablets, but so far no ICS updates for any U.S. honeycomb tablets.

Keep checking. They just released the kernel source for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the actual update just started rolling out at the same time.

Once news gets wind, I'm sure things will get rolling. If you build it, they will come devs, please! On a side note, seems official ICS update should be imminent, definitely before this month is over :good:

Just curious if someone is willing or will port the S voice that is out now on the SGS 3 to the Gnote.. because the built in one that comes with the Gnote does not work the way that the new version that is on the Galaxy S3 . and since its the same hardware. i think it should be able to be ported.
No worries, this will most likely be ported to whatever build of ICS you will choose in the future, or a stand-alone CWM install.
I just hope it is soon

Is there a possibillity that the ICS update for the Note will include it or we will have to wait for it separately?

Thats great. But I haven't rooted my device yet. I actually like the touchwiz goodies on ics. Ie, the screen capture button and quick apps. I'll probably wait for the ota. I use this device as a job companion, so I can't afford to deal with the bugs in those builds.

What the hell is "woot"???
What is HE offering over any other base?
AFAICT there is no reason to move off of LF2. If the radio actually works better then why not just update the radio and stay on the LF2 base? Anything after LF2 has just been reduced in functionality, right?
It is the kernel source code and is the same as all builds. Nothing new here. They just noted they are all the same. My guess is they did this because LHE is last ICS update.

An interjection similar to "YAYE!" or "Woohoo!" used to express joy or excitement, usually about some kind of accomplishment. Primarily used by gamers, spreading rapidly to anyone who chats online

I've been reading recently that the official jelly bean update for the Galaxy SII is finally rolling out. However, everywhere I read is mentioning the international version. I have the AT&T Skyrocket model and was wondering if the officially Jelly Bean update has been released? If not, is there any word on when it might?

On the other hand, the final ics leak and mohan's 2nd jb were so kink free they made excellent dd for stock users.

I know the SGH-i727R, which is Rogers in Canada, is now supposed to be getting it late February vs late December as previously promised. I'm sure since it's the same phone if we're getting it, maybe, sometime, possibly, then you folks at AT&T will as well......

In my opinion i say that our jb update doesnt even close, as we havent got any leaks yet. I think 22-03 will be galaxy ace 2 jb update.. not tab plus.. but lets just keep waiting for samsung..

new firmware arrived but...... an ICS!
Check the latest firmware, it's an ICS http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P6210. This one is for Chile. Previously the old Galaxy Note got a JB firmware, so probably..... the good GT-6210 will get JB within let's say..... another two weeks?!
