S talk ( siri style ) SGS3 for Gnote - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Just curious if someone is willing or will port the S voice that is out now on the SGS 3 to the Gnote.. because the built in one that comes with the Gnote does not work the way that the new version that is on the Galaxy S3 . and since its the same hardware. i think it should be able to be ported.

No worries, this will most likely be ported to whatever build of ICS you will choose in the future, or a stand-alone CWM install.

I just hope it is soon

Is there a possibillity that the ICS update for the Note will include it or we will have to wait for it separately?

You can buy the Nexus S (likely to get ICS) or the Galaxy Nexus which comes with ICS stock.
Or you can get any 2011 Sony Ericsson Android but you'll have to wait.
u can ask as many questions as u want in the Q&A page. u dont have to create a separate page for this :O
Yes

I think cm9 is next i read it over at s2 thread but not entirely sure..

What was the need for creating a new thread for a useless question? This has been announced that there might be, it's a chance so it's unconfirmed. Samfirmware has claimed there might be but we shall wait and see.
excited with ICS?
try this ICS launcher..
Well, i dont think we will get ICS. THere is no news about ICS for i9000. Only ICS for s2 is gonna come out in the late 2012
I read that every cellphone that can work with Gingerbread is suposed to work with ice cream sandwich

In fact, no.
CM8 should be honeycomb but how the source wasn't released, never existed.
The next CM with ICS source will be CM9.

ICS Has Been Ported To The Nexus S

Like the title says. That is great news. At least it gives us some sort of hope for an early port. Thanks to Engadget for the news. The article can be found there.

looks interesting...! But already we have less developers so its better that we should concentrate 1st on aosp roms issues like camera vdo drivers, backlight issues etc.

B2G
B2G is very smooth though not fully functional I have tried it on my SGSII.
B2G?
I think primarily we must go with the AOSP build and stuff.
And, On my SII B2G is barely full-funcrtioned. So, unless we have a stable build for s2 we can concentrate on other things
Just my opinion! If you were to look into this, You have a tester ready!

Of course it is, but everything in i9003 is a problem... since drivers to kernel sources.. I would first centrate in AOSP development first

Any news on jelly bean for us?

Has the source code been released? Will there be an update to 4.1 for us? I im sure there would be, and but if anyone has a better guess than I do please share with us.

Thats great. But I haven't rooted my device yet. I actually like the touchwiz goodies on ics. Ie, the screen capture button and quick apps. I'll probably wait for the ota. I use this device as a job companion, so I can't afford to deal with the bugs in those builds.

If you're asking about the AOKP lockscreen, its a "nightly". Its in Hilbe's builds over on that other forum that may or may not be P.C. to talk about on here (I know it wasn't for a while, anyway...). Google "Hilbe AOKP" and its the first result. As of yesterday it was only in the build from the "test" folder in his downloads. Link is in the OP. I'm pretty sure its in the "unstable" build now, too. These builds work fine, if test/unstable makes you nervous.
talk about a misleading thread title.
Yeah I'm already using this with AOKP. It's pretty neat.

At the time of me reading this, you have 10 posts, and 4 of them are one word, like that. Seriously man? If you have nothing to contribute, don't say anything at all.
Saturday or Sunday ill try to do an AOKP build with it integrated. However, I am really busy so if someone wants to take a stab at it please do.

Nope, I had to look on Google for the "Hilbe AOKP" test build from 10/31. Probably in a newer, more stable build by now. Check it out! Plenty stable too - no worries.
