Hi guys.
I want to play Gameloft's games, but the A510 (despite being very similar to the Tansformer Prime) is incompatible with almost all their games.
Is there any way I can change the device build prop to that of the transformer prime? Will this be harmful?
Thanks!
Just few games ( only for Qualcomm CPU) i can't run with my A510.
When you run the game, do u:
① download the right game packets?
② access the network and keep the google sync on? ( some game need that )

Gameloft and Android Versions, which one to chose?
Which versions of Gameloft games can be played on the Transformer?
I already know that if it's for honeycomb, or if it's for the motorola zoom, it sure will play on the transformer, but most of gameloft games are made for phones.
And there is like tons of versions of one gameloft game for each brand of phone.
Can anyone tell me which phone versions of Gameloft games is more compatible with the TF?
Example: Maybe chosing the samsung galaxy SII version of gameloft games runs ok on the transformer? Or maybe HTC is more compatible, or the motorola droid, etc...
Also I noticed that playing the latest version of a game (like chosing the latest 1.0.9 version) does not always work.
Tnx for any answers.

so I decide to install mobile phone apps (2.1, 2.2, 2.3) that have offline data.
taht is why i need to know which games ( for which mobile phone: e.g. samsung, motorola , HTC ) will work on the asus eee pad transformer (honeycomb) ??

What are you talking about? What do you mean by "offline data"? The only reason you would need to do what you are using pirated apk. As far as I know there are no phone versions of Gameloft games that work on the Transformer, except the Atrix version of Modern Combat.
You are basically asking for information on hacks that no one has tried because we don't need to. We have perfectly working tablet optimized Gameloft games working, that can be obtained legitimately. I am fairly certain that if the game is not in the list I pointed you towards, it doesn't work on the TF.
First of all, hi... im new here, and new to android and more specifically nvidia shield (just got last night). Is there some comprehensive guide to setting up all the best emulators and controller mappings for them for my shield? and do i need to root it or whatever like i see people talking about?
First thing I would do is download retroarch. That contains all the most popular emulators and it is free. In fact the developer is very much against people charging for emulators and doesn't use ads or anything. The buttons on the shield are automatically mapped in retroarch as well.

You do not need root. Just download it from the play store grab a few of your favorite roms and play.
Retroarch calls each emulator a "core" so if you want to play SNES (maybe don't use the BSNES core or whatever it is called. It might be more buggy than SNES 9x or whatever the other one is called) you would load up the SNES core in retroarch and then choose your rom.
If I were you, I'd root your shield. That way you can write to your external SD card and change the minimum CPU frequency while running emulators.

Hello,
First sorry for my bad English and for my deficiencies in technological knowledge !!
I would like to buy a Nvidia Shield TV Box as a successor to my old Android TV Box (=K-R42 Quad Core Google Android TV Box).
For streaming (playing) games i need a faster internet connection but thats my problem because my (inconstant) internet speed is about 10 to 20 Mbit/s.
So is it possible to "download" the game FIFA16 (for example) to an external hard disk (which is connected to the USB 3.0 port) and then to play it from there ?
Thanks and best regards ?
No is not. You can install some emulators and play games, but you're talking about a games that is brand new and there's not an emulator to play it.
Another option you have is to install it on your PC and then stream the game to the SHIELD using GeForce Experience.
But playing the game directly from the HD us not possible.
I saw really great games for android that i would love to play, but there is only one problem, i cant controll them!
The thing is, they are games for Nvidia shield devices runing on android! I can install them, no problem there, and i ca enter the first level, but i cant controll them! Is there any way i can make them controlable using touchscreen or BT gamepad?
I have Moto G2 XT1068. As most of you guys must be aware that a majority of android games do not provide graphics settings. Instead, they auto detect the device configuration and set the graphics accordingly. For example, games like angry birds transformers, need for speed: no limits, assassin's creed pirates, modern combat 5-- all these games don't have any option for setting the graphics level in the game. They auto detect the device as low end and run on terrible graphics. Main thing is that the game renders on lower screen resolution instead of 720p. What I want is that they run at the native resolution of the screen.
I tried using device faker for faking device model and all, didn't work. I used GL Tools, faked CPU/GPU/RAM, didn't work. Is it possible to achieve what I am trying to, in any possible way? Can GL Tools really help? (I don't really understand the options it provides)-- is there any configuration that can force the games to detect the device as high end and run at good graphics?
I am having the same problem overclocking cpu/gpu didnt work.

You could try making build.prop edits to change the device model.
This would make apps believe you have a different phone than you actually have (basically it would be the same trick as people used to get Google Assistant on any device).
