Skyrocket guys, its been fun and this has been the best group of people I have worked with but recently I bricked my phone and had to send it in with my geek squad protection from best buy...welll they approved me for a junk out which means i get a phone pretty much of my choosing....I will be getting the Samsung galaxy note! I will have to pay a small difference but since i laid my hands on the note i loved it!!!

I actually just exchanged my Note back and joined Team Skyrocket. The Note is an awesome device, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't get used to the size.

Same here. The SR is tiny but far more functional for me. I'll await the arrival of the S3 or something else manageable with one handed operation.

so far so good on the note going to run it stock a few days!! What had happend to my skyrocket is I bricked it.... im assuming from a kernal and rom matchup that didnt get along....first time on any android device ive owned.... from the captivate to the infuse, and then bam out of no where on the skyrocket after flashing 100000 roms on it...... brick lol best part of all of this is my upgrade is untouched so in December new phone

Am I Okay for Daily Use?

Hey everyone,
I just got the Nexus S 4G last night, traded my Epic 4G Touch for it. Hardware wise, I guess I downgraded, but practicality and such - I'm a very happy camper.
GPS works great, fits like a glove in my hand, and I love that it's in a much newer condition lol.
Any way,
This phone came running on an ICS build. I'm not really sure which and it seems stable so far. I'm just curious, is there a more recent type of ROM/update I should run on or is it okay to just stay on this build here.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I'm sorry, but that was a bad trade to me.
oh well can't stress over a $200 loss.
if you want stable, then what you have may be stable. if its not crashing of course.
now what you have seems to be 2 months old. and to a lot of us. that's like a year.
I wont endorse any ROM because they havnt included a thanks in the OP mentioning me.
mine is still in develoment. its the best.

Lol, I didn't take a straight loss. I had guy put money on top to break even. But yea it seems stable so far, battery life is nice too.

Anyway, to the OP, I actually went the opposite way.. I traded my nexus s for a second e4gt, kinda regretting it.. You will love the ns4g, it gets the job done.

Its been a wonderful time here with the Galaxy Sl community right from the days od Amit.bagaria, Skin 1980,Rex4u,codeworx and other developers we've seen this was my first android phone and it was an amazing experience ! i blame samsung bigtime for ruining gingerbread bigtime !.. but anyways it was wonderful being a part of this community for 16 months I'll b exchanging my Galaxy Sl for a new Galaxy Nexus no more crawhiz for me want pure android experience as its the best Misledz,Aditya,Hetalk,Vishal and the rest u bloody #^!%@#^%[email protected]$# made this experience insane on Facebook gud to c that u guys will still have sl for a while and Dhiru my hero keep up the amazing work on cm9 and cm10 development ! and hillbeast all the best with kernel 3.0 ! this isnt really a permanent goodbye as i'll b visiting often to check out how my first android phone is doing

Ok folks. Im absolutely gunna buy a new phone. I dont have near the latest and i want a killer device. Im good at odin and thats it, but am willing to work with something with anywhere from moderate to half asz good directions for root. (if i cant root i aint buying) suggestions are appreciated!!
