Need Atrix 2 fxz download - Motorola Atrix 2

I have an Atrix 2 on AT&T that was on Supercharged V5 update 2 (2.3.6 I believe) and I am trying to go back to stock, but the link in the noobs guide to download the fxz isn't working. I tried the one at sbf droid-developers org/edison/list.php but when it claimed to have finished downloading it was only 294MB rather than the 477 it should have been and can't be extracted. I am re-downloading that one now, but it is very slow and I was hoping I could find something more reliable. At this point my phone is stuck looping the boot animation because I, perhaps stupidly, tried the factory reset on the phone before looking how to do it here. I can get to the boot menu, but I need a good stock rom to flash.

http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
You still need to patch it though... so get that from the noob guide.
It is the ONLY place to get it... sorry if it is slow.

Thanks, I think the download problem I was having was because of chrome's crappy download manager. I am downloading it now in DownThemAll on firefox and it seems to be going much faster and not stopping prematurely. Also I did see the thing about patching it and I have those files ready.

Remove Supercharged Atrix V5

I am way N00b at this but how do I remove this from my Atrix 2? It is eating up my battery and I can't open some of my apps, they force close. Is it possible to flash back to the point prior to this?
It was backed up before I started but know I cant find the back up. I just want to go back to the point when it was rooted. I used "MotoFail" to root and everything was going great and decided to try this, my bad, any ideas besides buying anoter phone?;-(

How did you back up?
If you used CWM (from the A2 Bootstrapper) just reboot into CWM, go to backup and restore, select restore, and select the backup that you made.
If you didn't use CWM or you can't find the backup then you will have to flash the fxz as said above. It will completely remove all of your apps and return you to stock 2.3.5. Make sure that you follow the directions about replacing files.
Thank you matt99017d I will check the link and cogeary I did the back up CWM I'll go that route first if that doesnt work, I'll go back to the beginning. Thank you again for the help
I could not find the backup in CWM so I flashed fxz following the instruction on the link you provided and the info. I'm back to 2.3.6 and it is rooted. Thats as far as I'm going for now, thanks for the help you all provided.
I see at /system/etc/init.d 2 files with sd-card optimization. 03sdtweak and 99override. Is there right or needed to delete one of them?
I highly suggest getting Titanium, for the cases where you don't have a back up, because I lost all my free apps and I don't even remember what all I had. I'm getting things back as I need them.

^ shows everything you've installed from the Android Market. You should have records somewhere if you got things from the Amazon Appstore.
I haven't tried it myself but if you've made a backup in CWM you have the option to only restore apps/data.
Well I decided to give SuperCharged V5 with update 1, and when I disconnected form the charger this morning it was stuck in the boot animation. It has been stuck in that position for the last 30 minutes.
I connected it to PC and it doesnt show as being connected. I've done a search and can't find anything on how to fix it.
I did a battery pull, took SD card out to see if I could maybe transfer something from it to desktop, but everything that was on it is gone.
Don't know what happened.
Can someone point me in the right direction?? In the mean time I'll keep looking.
Ozzie Im in a similar situation. I"m in a bootloop as well (Supercharged Logo just keeps rolling on the screen). I can't get into the Android OS, and I also can't even get into Fastboot to flash back to stock. At this time it appears its bricked. I have been trying to fix this the past 12 hours.
Are you in the same situation??!

help...
flashing the stock fxz worked
Man...and I was gonna do this...flash the supercharged ROM. Nevermind.
after i flashed the 2.3.5 fxz like the bootstrapping thread instructed, i installed the ota update and rooted my phone again and then i tried the custom rom again just for fun
but this time i did v5 and then update 1. then instead of doing update 2, i flashed the image of the rom that's linked right under update 2 in the supercharged thread
it works flawlessly for me now
so i would just recommend that

RSD Failing? PLEASE HELP

Okay,
So, I was trying to downgrade to stock 2.3.5 using rsd lite so I could flash ICS. However, RSD gets stuck at 14/18 "flashing system.img" for like 45 minutes. I did replace the files needed to downgrade in the FXZ and all of that and followed the steps down to the period. PLEASE HELP ME!
When I unplug and pull battery and reboot, I get invalid CG version or something like that...
A month or two ago I had the same problem. In one of the new ics threads someone asked about a way they were worried about doing because it replaced the boot image and took off stock recovery. That way works. You can then fxz a second time to completely stock using regular methods and regaining stock recovery.
I'm at the park with my son but I found it with Google. Not gonna try from my phone. Good luck.

same problem
I have a similiar issue, I'm downgrading from SCV6 to 2.3.5, downloaded FXZ, unzipped, replaced files from replace.zip and started flashing through RSD Lite. Followed all directions on NOOBS guide. Now I am stuck at 14/18 flash system "system.img" for an hour at the moment. Is this normal? If its not, what should I do? Disconnect, don't disconnect? Close program, don't close? Don't wanna mess things up even more
EDIT: Now here's the weird part, I had to stop the application cause I went to work, so I closed RSD, disconnected the phone and rebooted it and... the system loaded, and the phone is working... which is weird because the flashing got stuck at 14/18. Now I have a dilemna, wheter to try to flash 2.3.5 again or wait for some advice from you guys
EDIT2: Second Flash did the trick, took like 10 minutes

[Q] Infuse 4G LiquidSmooth help

First to all, ahi to everyone here.
My long story short, I've been lurking around this forum all day long. I finally mustered the courage to root my stupid infuse and decided to go with LiquidSmooth.
I come from from 2.3 (original official Gingerbread release) and I was following some steps to root it first (which I managed to do, somehow...) and i was following the next to upgrade it to ICS and then JB... but my f*(#@^$cking browser decided to crash, and now I'm unable to find the thread again.... (i've been looking for hours)
Please if someone can point me to the right direction?? Like I said i rooted it already.... and everytime I keep trying to get the ICS rom, all i get is a red menu (CWM i think??) but I can't find the rom anywhere. Help!??
Thanks to all.
If you downloaded it already, it would be in the download or downloads folder on your SD card. But since your browser crashed, you may want to re-download it, just to make sure it actually downloaded.

wow. over 8 hours here...... (sigh)
well i think i bricked the thing. i get nothing but the samsung logo.
i can still get into the red menu, but i've tried to install the rom severall times..... with no luck.
does anyone know if there's still a way to save my phone or can i smash it to little pieces by now?

Good advice right here as flashing a ROM that may be corrupted (even though CWM should see it and abort the install) can and will cause problems. Re download the ICS ROM then make a new folder in your internal SD card and place the ROM in it for easy finding.
Remember though, you have to boot into ICS at least ONCE before installing a JellyBean ROM.
Good luck
If you still find yourself stucked at the samsung logo, you may want to go back to stock with odin or heimdall, and also flash the GB bootloaders which you probably don't have, depending on how you upgraded to GB.
Then flash entropy's dd kernel to get cwm back.
There is a link to a guide on How to flash JB on my signature. Follow that and should reach JB safely.

[Q] Please help! Stuck in bootloop, TWRP not working, no idea what else to try!

So, I'm trying to fix a phone for a friend of mine. I previously put CM10 on it (not sure which version at this point), and he recently started getting stuck in a bootloop. I tried wiping /data & /cache, didn't help. Tried re-installing the rom, didn't help. Tried installing the latest versions (both stable and nightly), didn't help. Tried installing arrgh's kernel, didn't help. Now I'm trying to get it back to stock, just to see if that'll work. I can get into fastboot just fine, and both cwm and skrilax's recovery work, but the only guide I found that has working DL links is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33391825&postcount=9, and while I can get TWRP installed and boot into it, I'm unable to select anything. I don't know if the program is acting up or if there's an issue with the touchscreen, but it's really frustrating. I've got the .win files ready to go, but not being able to navigate TWRP is holding me back. Is there any other way to install these files, or is there a way to get TWRP to work? I'm using the latest version (2.6.3.0). Would installing an earlier version work? Is there any known way to fix the bootloop issue? Is there a rom more stable than the official CM10? I realize that's a lot of questions, but as I'm at the end of my rope here, I figured I might as well get it all out there, and hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

CM10 was never really "stable" on the Q. 10.1 is pretty solid, and 10.2 runs fairly well as well.
If you want to go back to stock, why not just use RSD lite?

I think it was 10.2 that I put on originally.
I would love to use RSD, but like I said, all the guides I found had dead DL links.

Uhm, when you talk about working download links you link to some recovery hack.
I'm talking RSD Lite, and using fastboot to flash all of the stock stuff back.
Please read the link I sent - I can download those FXZ files no problem.

Huh. Must be late, totally didn't see that you had posted a link. I think I wound up on that page at one point, but the latest version of RSD Lite I could find from a site that didn't look sketchy was 5.7. When I search for 6.1.5, I get a lot of random download links (don't usually trust those, and a lot of non-English sites.
Yeah, may need to stop for the night and pick it back up tomorrow. Completely missed that there's a link to 6.0 on that thread. Will try that. Now, when you say to use RSD and then using fastboot to flash the stock stuff back, what do you mean? I thought RSD would take me back to stock.

I posted a direct link to 6.0 here, others posted their links in that thread as well.
Thanks for all your help. Will get RSD from that thread and try the files you linked. Hopefully that gets me further.
Yeah, RSD got me back to stock. The phone is borked anyway; the power button is iffy at best, and the touchscreen has stopped working, so he's gonna haveta try to get a replacement. Thanks for all the help.

[Q] Atrix 2 MB865 - Asian Version - Softbrick while flashing to a new ROM

Hi,
I was trying to get from Atrix 2 JB Leak 3 to a new ROM, in this case the MOKEE 4.4.4 ROM. I was following these clear instructions at trueandroid .com/android-4-4-2-kitkat-mokee-rom-for-motorola-atrix-2-how-to-2/. While I was on step 6 in the instructions, I wiped the default partition(System 1) and instead of going back into the menu, I accidentally restarted the phone because I misread the step.
i59.tinypic .com/jsd5e9.jpg
Feeling pretty stupid at this point. I don't have access to RSDLite as I'm using a Mac. I can see the motorola logo and log into Android System Recovery. I've tried deploying the MOKEE image by using the recovery option and update formSD card option. That obviously didn't work. Is there a firmware image that I can use with the update form External card option. I could find a windows machine, but thats going to take sometime. Any thoughts?
Also can someone link me to a new firmware? All links seem to be expired by now. Thanks.

Here is a good place to start off with your recovery process, go through this link thoroughly before attempting anything: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1909319.
Search the Atrix 2 forum as most of the questions has been answered over the years. Good Luck.
