No problem. I'm probably gonna wind up doing it soon when I feel like being productive 'cause honestly it's easier to follow a guide while you watch. You can pause and you can see what's going on with the screen, etc. Hope you keep making them for the GSII though.

Cool no prob I don't port the same way as you guys I already have it booting, I will fix some more stuff before releasing...but been busy job hunting so..yea lol

Man that's what happened to me, got it to boot and then boom idk what happened lol I just gave up

well guys Dao from team unknown asked me if he could do the port instead of me and asked me for some help on some data issues he said he didn't know i was doing this so i decided to let him have the rom so sorry guys but team unknown is releasing...i'll ask six to close this thread.

When can we get any ics on this?

I'm new to this phone. I just came from a iPhone and galaxy nexus before that the rezound and so on...
This phone reminds me of the nexus s with t.w.
Specs wise. So idk about making roms but I do know our phone is capable of it.
So why hasn't it happened? My Lil brother in laws boost galaxy prevail I put ics on it. Can anybody give
Me insight on this??

Right now without kernel source a port would be hard and it'll have to be cm9 more than likely..I've tried it and it's too complicated might as well wait til next month when Sammy drops stock ics and source

The update to get the phone ready for ics just came out. Can't see ics being pushed that soon. And this topic has been beat to death. Google and you can see its coming soon.

just got back online in my pc gonna try to contact somebody to see . also if somebody can locate swampgoblin (i will too)
hes very very good at porting he did ics for the ns4g and ported the 1st working sense rom for the ns4g(nexus s 4g)
guys i guess im pressing the issue because i got so used to ics but i know it can be done. mathkid95 is also good in kernels .todays my day off so im gonna get on this. but im happy to see alot of people are into this.

SGS4g Donation Thread for erikmm

Erik’s phone has died. As a member of this community I'm trying to rally support to get Erik a phone that actually works.
About 3 months ago I created a thread to help Erik get a phone after his last one died. The seller misrepresented the device (imagine that). The functionality was limited and it had a short life span. Hopefully we will achieve a better result this time.
This is for the SGS4g community and has nothing to do with me on a personal level. I have done some testing in the past for Erik due to the limits of what is now a paperweight. I have absolutely no affiliation with Team Kick Ass/Team Fah-Q or its affiliated affiliates.
If you are able to help, cool. If not, cool. I’m sure everybody would if they could. Erik will keep us posted on the price of a phone and where we're at.
