3G with t mobile Sensation on 1900 mhz? - HTC Sensation

Since T-Mobile uses the 1700 mhz band, Will my t mobile Sensation get 3G on a 1900 mhz network like most carriers in the world?

T-Mobile's Sensation is a z710e, which uses the 900/1700/2100 bands. I really doubt this will get you 3G on a 1900 network like say AT&T or Rogers.
For a 1900 network, you'd probably need a z710a, which uses 850/1900 natively.
Don't take my word completely on this though. Search before you buy (or sell) because I never bothered to research this extensively.

Can anyone give me a final answer I need to know if I need to buy a new phone....

No you won't because the radio band is not software related. It has to do with the actual hardware antenna so the max you can ever get on 1900 mhz is edge (2g)

Check in the huge radio/ril thread by mf2112
Somewhere in there, someone posted the two modem partitions for a 1900 sensation. You can try flashing those via fastboot
But in stock form, no, the tmo sensation does not support 1900.

Have a look at the following links and put your country in to check network compatibility.

The device needs to have chips that are compatible with those speeds. Since its hardware, the Sensation 4G will always be stuck at 14mbps.
Wonder if they'll up on the 5GB limit

What frequency bands?

What are the minimum frequency bands required to use Straight Talk's (AT&T) HSPA+? I'd like to buy a Nexus One but I'm not sure if it will get HSPA+

If you get the gsm nexus off of Google everything will work fine. I believe ATT uses HSPA+ at 850 MHz.. which I am using now on the HTC One S.. and 1900 MHz .
