Can this phone get 4g speed using a HSPA+ network???
It can go up to 14,4mbps. It's exactly the same as the european sensation, except the name.
I've used speed test and got 4 mbs down and 2 mbs up but I don't think I was in a good signal place

Yes it can
So, I can use this phone on att's 4g network.
That's good to know.

No, you won't have hspa+ speed on AT&T. It doesn't have the right band for it. Only compatible in europe and tmobile US.

If you want to use it on at&t and get 3g/h, you need a bell sensation from Canada.
Will my unlocked one x from att work on European 3g? I'm currently using it on edge on tmobile USA but am going to Germany and going to use O2. Will I get 3g there using this or no? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure? I read another thread that said Europe uses 2100mhz and this phone doesn't work on that frequency

Yeah so will that give me 2g or 3g? It uses 1800 for GSM and 2100 for wcdma

Don't know where you read that, but its incorrect. The AT&T One X is fully compatible with HSPA/3G 2100 MHz.

I was just in Germany last week and can verify that 3G works just fine. I was roaming on AT&T, and data works fine on T-Mobile and O2. For some reason, I was not getting data on Vodaphone when my phone was auto switching to that carrier. Don't know why, so occasionally I had to force it to one of the other carriers.

Depends on which radio bands they use for 3G.
How did you unlock? EBay method?

They both use 1800 on GSM and 2100 wcdma. Will 3g work?

Hi folks, I'm visiting the USA from Canada and my Tmobile branded Sensation will not connect to Tmobile roaming from my Wind Canada SIM, nor will my Simple Mobile SIM get a connection.
Both notice that I have a voice mail and the Canadian one notices my roaming, but no signal and no network search works.
I'm running the August 8th CM9 nightly with the latest tamcore kernel and 3.33 firmware.

Bump. Would anyone happen to have any insight on this? Thanks!
I think it's more of a carrier problem than a phone problem...
