My phone was running CM7 and I wanted to go back to BML roms but couldn't so I used FB's [ODIN+CWM] GB Ext4 Starter Pack to try to get back to BML from MTD. I got up to step 4 and odin stopped when it got to factorysf. I pulled out the battery and bricked the phone but then put the battery back in and got into download mode.
Now, I tried to flash an odin rom since I can't reboot into anything and I downloaded "[Odin][ROM] Whitehawkx's KC1 with CWM recovery" and tried flashing that but odin message just said "all threads completed" and the phone still doesnt work.
Can anyone please help???

Unless you have a T959W, flash bootloaders!
If you do have a T959W, and have flashed bootloaders, pm me your results!

hey guys,
I flashed the "voodooChargeKernel4" tar file win Odin. Then I flashed the CWR recovery through Odin ( i know I ****ed up). It wouldnt boot and was stuck on the samsung screen. I pulled the battery and went back into Odin to reflash the voodoochargekernel again. Now it's stuck on a screen with a phone, a computer and orange triangle.
Well i got the same tar file to flash in Odin by switching USB ports, but now Im still stuck on the samsung screen
crap..i dont know what to do. I used the CWR recovery files from this thread on someone's recommendation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111486. Now the phone wont turn on at all except download mode and anything I flash says fail.
Odin is flaky you may need to try a different USB port.
If that does not work try to remove the device in device manager and unplugging the phone and plugging it back in to the computer,.
And flash the below package
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1116867
EE4 Stock.

thank but that didnt work either. Its in an endless boot into recovery for some reason.
I had the problem, except mine wasn't going into recovery; it rebooted after every boot animation.
What worked for me was, using Odin, re-flashing the Kernel, unplug the phone, plug the phone in again, and then flashing Altered Beast, then turning the phone on. It didn't work if i tried them one at a time.
after u get the phone in download mde. re-install the battery and then flash via odin.
if your getting bootloop then try in recover to wipe data

Yup, did that too. That allowed my phone to actually boot, but then I got stuck in recovery.

Do a battery pull, then get the phone back into download mode. Close and open Odin, then plug the phone into USB. That should get Odin to behave again.

ODIN the full KC1 with the pit, pda, phone and csc, make sure you have repartition checked.

Tne file with csc in it goes in the csc part of odin, and the file with phone in it goes in the phone section.

I just installed a bad zip and threw my phone into a bootloop. I had installed my rom from a zip and I can't get back into CWM. Any one have an Odin of Humblecomb 1.51 that I can use to flash it back?

can't find an odin package for you (maybe there wasn't one? I have a bunch of .zips of 1.51... I always try to download all the forms of roms)... have you thought about just re-odining CWM and flashing a .zip again?
Any way you can link to that zip somewhere??
I had it downloaded at one point, but I'm not sure what I did with it.
I like to personally try all the different ROMs myself (running gummycharged 1.9.1 now)

Thanks. I actually fixed it by installing an older Odin and then upgrading. Thanks everyone for all of your help though, and I'm glad that it helped someone else in the process..
i wient into recvoeryand installed kd1 fron a zip file...and i for got that it wont work unless i deconvert your ext 4 first...and i didnt...and now its jusr stuck on the bootscreen where it says galasy s 4g...im trying to get it in recivery but i can even get that to work...what cand i do...please help me...thanks for your time... ;-)
What about download mode?
Do a battery pull, get into download mode and use ODIN or Heimdall. There are many threads and the wiki on how to use both if you are unfamiliar.

Can you get into CWM? If not, does ODIN recognize the phone?
You will need to put your phone into download mode first.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S/SGH-T959V/Download_Mode
Flash this one click file. It's KD1 fully stock that will convert you back to RFS. Note that this doesn't come with a custom kernel nor a custom recovery. No root either.

While it will say I'm a noob because this is my first post I am not really a noob, I just haven't had a reason to post until now
I flashed a 4.2 ROM and lost all connectivity to the network. Odin'd back to stock and here I sit, with that triangle saying I am roaming still. I have read every forum about this, tried the *2767*3855# a billion times and am getting nothing.
I need ideas! Please help!
Thanks
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3
EDIT* *2767*3855# doesn't activate anything in the dialer. It is just acting as if I want to make a phone call.

Been through that 1.5 billion times already :crying::crying::crying:
You are on a TW ICS rom I am assuming? That dialer code should work automatically on a TW ICS rom. Maybe try a different ICS build like this one: http://goo.im/devs/invisiblek/i535/stock.vzw_root66.tar or these from droidstyle's guide: http://goo.im/devs/invisiblek/i535/...535VZWALG1_743127_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.zip or http://hotfile.com/dl/182822657/9f6...WBLK3_381038_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5.html.

I will certainly try it. After I flash in Odin is there any special details after I should try?
Flash the root66 from odin, factory reset, and then use the dialer code. This should work. From there install recovery and proceed as normal.
Important: This will completely wipe the internal storage. Backup first!

I couldn't get a .tar file for root66, it just came as a zip, otherwise I was about to try that option as well.
