yeah but tody is 13th and I dont see WM 6.5....

yeah i've been searching for it also, and apparently the May 11th date wasn't the public release date,.. IF they released it at all its for business or for the companies to start preparing their phones for them for the summer or fall...
But as long as a public release, nothing yet.. and no date is given either.
Yeah, it's not like a PC, where you can just grab Windows and install it. It has to be cooked by the vendor.
Then what is that 6.5 what we are seeing on this forum? From where the developers got it. I installed on my phone but it didn't work for me.

They are not so much betas as incomplete. the Roms were leaked from different places (HTC, tmobile, MS, ect)

I hope do. I made the decision to purchase this phone today based on seeing him posting in this forum. Jumped ship from my nexus one.

The easiest way I can think to add people would be to use the short urls. You can obtain one by going to http://gplus.to/ and creating a nick name. You can also just post the url of your Google+ home page.

There's a good news for all the Mi A1 owners and devs that are craving for the kernel sources to be realised thanks to a article published by Android Authority pointing the issue out. Xiaomi say the sources will be out in the coming weeks.

I was hoping that they would be a litte more specific. "in the coming weeks" can mean anything between next week and last week of 2018.

Exactly! I have an Honor 8 Pro, the company said on 15 Jan that the update to Oreo is coming soon. Still we have no chance of getting the update this month or the next, so they are all very vague terms.
I think they have fk*ed up with Oreo and are taking time to release a better system, hope their kernel will have no issues like their devices like Mi4i.

I guess its @franciscofranco whom we should be thanking. Android police and android authority cared to cover only because franco raised the issue.
Good news right here but android authority simply made an article about it. Franciscofranco is the real hero

Good news. Can't wait to see what the talented devs will create for this device, knowing that they will also have an Android P build as well. Should help the device last some while.

"forced them" sorry but that is just not acurate. AA is a comunity website, and has no influence over Xiaomis decisions!

Exactly its @franciscofranco who helped us. And it was @UltimateBlade who started mass tweet but franciscofranco who boosted it.
I am redactor myself and I made a huge huge article about Xiaomi on one of polish news and tech sites. So I added a brick to forcing them to release sources too
Coming weeks, no fixed date. Xiaomi **** you.
They have released kernel sources with android nougat.
