CM9 features missing... - General Questions and Answers

Hey all.
I want to ask you. Why does CM9 have no features like Mobile Bravia Engine or xLoud on my SE LwW? These features are great, but I can't find them on CM9, only on other custom ROMs.

Because they are either not open source or part of stock android. Or require frameqork specific to your device

If you really want it, you should try learning how to port it yourself or carry on searching for it. There are hundres and maybe thousands of widgetlocker themes so someone must have ported it.

Discussion of rom

Hey friends I know many of us using cm10 and many using stock. So why not let us make a team and build or port Sony 4.1.2 stock rom what do u think ? . So we can use many features of Sony and jb . We will take cm as a base or we will build a new kernel . Anyone interested ?

This is really like asking people what there favorite food or color is...the reasons are varied and subjective. This is why best ROM/kernel/app/Pizza threads should be avoided.

If you like themes for stock sony roms check out orochi's themes. Install as normal app (no need for root) and change themes from setting=>display=>themes
Most of them work on GB:

In terms of stability I would say 4.1.2 is way better in our XL. But when it comes to feature, 4.2.2 is good. But in Xperia L, 4.2.2 is such a disappointment.
Good Things in 4.1.2:
Stability
Battery Performance
Good Things in 4.2.2:
Better UI
Better Camera Quality
So shall i downgrade my phone?

That's not true. It has one bug I'm aware of;
Whenever I play music, the lock-screen glitches out and I can't pause it without unlocking it.
That's ok . Try changing launcher
