Okay Moto, I owe you one - Motorola Atrix 2

They did me good. I not only hard bricked my phone being one of the first adopters of ICS and reverting back to GB, but I ruined my liquid damage indicator some way or another.

Now I almost feel bad for reporting them to the FCC for not unlocking my boot loader.

Think of it this way: You wouldn't of hard bricked your phone in the first place if they hadn't locked down our phone like Alcatraz!

Haha true. When I sent in my phone I printed off a little letter addressed to "the Motorola technician inspecting my phone" that I put with the package that basically begged for a replacement...I wonder if he even got it.

G1 stops at bootloader

Not sure what happened, but my G1 stops at the bootloader now, and wont load. Good ole, HTC boot screen.
Any ideas? I'm ready to call support and get a replacement. I powercycled it, and it came up this way.

What MODS have you made?
--M
No mods, I put busy box on it, and had a suroot command, but nothing else.
I somehow corrupted the boot loader, not sure how, I didnt have it mounted.
They are shipping me a new one, eta 3 weeks. One thing I noticed is it never updated itself, I was still on 19, but my test g1 was already on rc30.
Looks like

[Resolved] Boot animation request [PORTAL]

I would love this boot animation for my Motorola Defy (MB525).
Does anyone know where I can get it?
I've tried searching multiple forums, but perhaps I'm just searching the wrong things..
Thanks
Nevermind... less than 10 minutes after I post this I find one extremely similar... Sod's law I guess!

I also made a bootlogo for before the boot animation... well, I edited a picture and converted it, to be installed using SplashTools (needs AndExplorer installed).

It's 480x182, which is for Motorola Defy/Motorola Defy+.. but there are plenty of other Portal-based bootlogo's. Just google

[Q] Warranty/Insurance

I currently have an HTC Vivid on AT&T and have had it for around 6 months. The headphone jack is acting up pretty badly and the battery life is poor. It is still under warranty and I also have insurance through Asurion. My dad (I'm 16 btw) wants me to call AT&T and work it out with them so I won't have a "bad name" with the insurance company.
But it hit me that I am rooted and am running a custom ROM. I unlocked the bootloader and made it S-Off. Although I am now back to S-On, if I were to flash the stock rom (which I would do) my bootloader would be "relocked" not "locked." So if I were to send it to AT&T it would have a relocked bootloader AS WELL as missing the "void" sticker on top of one of the screws which had to be unscrewed to go S-Off.
Given these circumstances, would it be best to go through insurance even though I am under warranty? Or would AT&T not notice the relocked bootloader and missing void sticker? Thanks so much!
Yeah right ...

Broken screen, I guess that's a goodbye :(

Hi guys, unfortunately today my i9003 suffered broken screen. Touch is unusable on 80% of surface, including menu-back keys. I managed to do somewhat a full backup (titanium + nandroid), using all screen rotations + the usable area.
I don't think I'll repair it, it would cost me too much sincerely. So, I'd like to thank all devs that worked and will continue working on "our" device...dhiru, adi, xda-bam, losconosciuto, rogero, etc; for now, I'll switch back to my Huawei U8150 (first ever Android phone), until I'll make some money to buy a new phone...don't know when, hope soon.
Thanks everyone, from Italy
Davide
How about a screenshot? I haven't actually seen i9003 with a broken screen...
