So I am using Smart Keyboard. I really like the themes and custom options. The only issue is that it doesn't seem to auto correct if I make a typing error. It does basic corrections but nothing more. Is there a setting to adjust?? I couldn't find one. I did turn off the predictive box cause I hated that box taking up screen space. Could that be why its not working??

My phone stopped auto rotating for me which kind of makes things harder when I'm trying to send a fast SMS or something.
I've refreshed the settings through 2 apps and the phone settings menu. Its also not auto rotating for any of my keyboards.
Does anyone know how one might resolve this issue?

You must reinstall the rom, or just check the auto rotating option in the settings.
I've been having some problems with typing fast on keyboards with this phone, most noticeably with the SwiftKey line.
If I get to typing too fast, it thinks I'm dragging my finger from one key to the next, leaving me with short words or completely deleted words. With any keyboard, typing fast can make the keyboard disappear until I touch the input area.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I've noticed the same thing with the SwiftKey X keyboard.
Have you gone through the settings? In the advanced settings area there is a Typing style for rapid or precise. It sounds like you need the Rapid setting selected. This one works very well for me.
It's set on rapid, but still has this problem. My wife's g2x doesn't have as much of a problem with typing fast as mine does.
I've also increased the swipe distance to erase and minimize the keyboard to 50%, which has helped stop the deletion of words, but it still has problems registering button presses that are too close together timewise.

Ive been using GO keyboard on and off for a while now and love it, only problem I have is that I cant see my emojis as Im typing them.
I have go sms with emoji plug in as well as the plug on for go keyboard but they just leave a blank space when i put one in. However they do show up in the conversation when I send.
Any advice anyone can give would be appreciated!
Are you using its latest version?
Yeah, can't understand it. Even when I use android keyboard on my s2 I can see the emojis while typing but not with go keyboard

you may disable AUTOSPACE option in the settings. That actually was designed for easier typing
So I've noticed that when I type there seems to be no auto correct happening. Ill get an apostrophe and stuff if I forget but on regular words I get nada!!!
I've tried smart keyboard pro and a few others with the same result.
Is there a setting or something I could have turned off???

I've checked all my settings. When I have show suggestions checked it will correct words but I don't like seeing them above the keyboard as I type. It's distracting too me. When I uncheck it to get rid of the suggestions box it will not auto correct common mistakes.
For example, if i type brothr and show suggestions is checked, it will change to brother. If I don't have it checked nothing happens.

there is a free 30 day trial of swiftkey 3 it is pretty freakin amazing!
Have you checked under advanced settings for what the space bar does?
Hey all....have a weird issue here. I use GoSms as my messaging app. I have added it as a shortcut to the lock screen. When I have a new text come in and I get into the app from my lock screen, the keyboard doesn't want to work. It recognizes I'm typing (buttons press, popups show up) but nothing shows up in the entry field. I need to completely back out of the conversation and get back in again. Then it works fine. It does this regardless of what keyboard I use. The stock messaging app works fine and I don't have this issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Actually was a weird bug that I had before months ago, can't really tell you what it was as it was fixed after flashing a different rom.
