I am using Karbonn A7 which I bought today only.
It is good in all features but I have one problem.
Whenever I am trying to open a page having a video which is not embedded from youtube, the browser automatically closes.
Let me put it in this way, when I opened dailymotion and clicked on a specific video, the page opened but when the video page fully loaded and I clicked on the video to play, then the browser automatically closed.
I tried in both the stock android browser and also with the Dolphin HD browser.
Can anyone please help me to solve this issue?
Did u download Adobe flash from store..

New problem all of a sudden. When I try to play video from a web page such as ESPN, my browser crashes and the phone returns to the home screen. My clock screen, not the browser home screen.
I have to reboot the browser and reload the page that I was viewing. I am running the stock browser on a bone stock unrooted Inspire. Any thoughts or similar problems ?

Thanks, I already had Flash player, but I installed the update, went to veiw a video and browser crashed again.
Go to settings/applications/manage apps/all, click on internet, clear cache and data.
Not Youtube, but from a browser. On the Vibrant, when you chose a video from a website it gave you the option to stream it to your video player, or you could hit web and it would download it and store it on the SD card. With the G2X it only gives me the option to stream it to video player. I tried different browsers, the same thing happens with Dolphin, Opera comes closest but says cannot download unsupported file type. I know MP4 is a supported file type. Anyone found a solution for this?
I'm very interested myself.
Been trying to find the answer? U^
Yeah, no luck. Tried different browsers, looked all through settings it just doesn't work. Probably going to have to replace whatever apk controls it. Maybe the browser.

This sucks but no phone is perfect. Wondering... I might just switch phones with android all that matters is how the phone looks. Roms come and go...
Opera mini on 3g would give me the option to download but then says I don't heave enough memory.
Well you can download videos from the Youtube site just follow this guide ---> http://www.knowyourcell.com/lg/lg-g...ad_and_save_youtube_videos_on_the_lg_g2x.html
Or on Firefox mobile you can download the Video DownloadHelper add-on to download videos from any site.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
No idea how to find that addon
video download helper is for the pc right? How does that help with the phone?
EDIT: So with firefox when you click on a flashplayer video it downloads it. Guess it's a start. Kind of sucks having to watch it on flashplayer on regular browser then go to firefox to download it but at least you can download.
So the other day I noticed that whenever i click a youtube link in twitter/facebook or on either of their mobile sites. Now for instance when i open a youtube link in QR droid for some tutorial it gives me the option to open with Dolphin / Internet / Youtube as opposed to it just being Dolphin / Internet when im using twitter or fb. I've cleared the the defaults for Dolphin HD browser and youtube just isnt showing up and ive uninstalled the updates for youtube and reinstalled them and i obviously can't reinstall the app so im kinda stuck and looking for a fix
any help is appreciated
im also using a droid incredible 2 on verizon, non rooted 2.3.3
bump..........

I don't know how it is working but now i can run flash content on my galaxy fit using opera mobile v11.50. It was definitely not working few days back but now i checked and it is working. Youtube, dailymotion, miniclip etc etc. i can see everything . No major apps installed. Just a barcode scanner is the only app i installed few days back. Any reasons guys??? Of course i'm happy but still curious to know why is it happening.

ohk...on whatismyflash.com it is showing "Installed Flash Player: None(or disabled)
and i am using the factory ROM...i did not installed any other ROM ever before also. whenever i open the video page on youtube or dailymotion, it shows a BIG white play button, i click on it and it goes full screen, it loads and the video runs on the basic mobile player. I used to see the BIG WHITE play button before also but couldn't run the video at that time. But now its working!!! I used opera at that time and now still using the same version(automatic updates are disabled ) And of course, i always use the desktop agent to view websites and not the mobile version of websites. Phew...any more gusses?????????????
ok now its clear.if video plays in basic mobile player then you dont have any flash player install and neither you can play flash stuff.the basic use of flash player is to play the video itself on the website screen rather than by mobile player.
and ques about opera not playing that before could be because of an update by them as before we could only download the video by clicking on it.[this functionaly to play flash video in mobile player is common in browsers like dolphine]

flash means "swf files"
all other files can be run by the stock browser using the different available android services.
Did not see it Listed, But if it is sorry.
So Here is a Super easy How to Guide on getting flash player on the Galaxy note 3. Now the stock web browser or Google chrome don't work so another browser will have to be downloaded.
Here is a list of working Browsers from what I tested.
Puffin Web Browser (Recommended)
UC Browser
Fire Fox
Sleipnir
Maxthon browser
Boat browser
Dolphin Browser and Dolphin Browser Mini
If you have another compatible browser, Please feel free to leave a comment so I can add it to the list. Thanks
How to Guide:
This will also work for the Samsung Galaxy s4, The Galaxy Tablets and almost any phone. some site wont work, and I almost actually had Chatroulette to work once. Let me know what happens for you.
The Maxthon browser supports flash as well.

Massive screen come out , movies , tv shows. The thing was made for it. lol
I still use skyfire 4.0 it does pretty good for the most part. Im gonna give puffin a try. Thanks
Stock browser seems to play nicer with flash videos and using full screen.
Dolphin and dolphin Jet pack both gave me errors.
Will test on Firefox and chrome.
Chrome - working nicely too, faster than stock.
Firefox - loads video but no option to allow full screen Firefox allows (with addon) to download the flash videos from the page.. Works well
Flash video plays very smoothly though...no stuttering.

How did you get flash to play in stock browser?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using xda app-developers app
Ry2mkk is confused
Flash is not supported on Stock Browser or Chrome. Dolphin used to work but now crashes when trying.
Firefox works for me and plays full screen too, there is a flicker at the start of the video.
Using Adobe Flash Version 11.1.115.81
See my screen shot... Flash is indeed working on stock
EDIT ** apologies, guess my site wasn't using a flash video as I've just tried the official flash test using default browser
Sorry for any misplaced hope lol.

if that is the case then i repeat my question how did you get it to work on the stock browser? I have been unable to do so?
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/get-back-the-aosp-browser-without-root/
Flash works fantastically with the AOSP version of the stock browser, which includes full screen. AOSP browser also has the bonus of fullscreen browsing + quick controls.
