I can run flash content without ADOBE FLASH PLAYER!!! - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

Hi,
I don't know how it is working but now i can run flash content on my galaxy fit using opera mobile v11.50. It was definitely not working few days back but now i checked and it is working. Youtube, dailymotion, miniclip etc etc. i can see everything . No major apps installed. Just a barcode scanner is the only app i installed few days back. Any reasons guys??? Of course i'm happy but still curious to know why is it happening.

ohk...on whatismyflash.com it is showing "Installed Flash Player: None(or disabled)
and i am using the factory ROM...i did not installed any other ROM ever before also. whenever i open the video page on youtube or dailymotion, it shows a BIG white play button, i click on it and it goes full screen, it loads and the video runs on the basic mobile player. I used to see the BIG WHITE play button before also but couldn't run the video at that time. But now its working!!! I used opera at that time and now still using the same version(automatic updates are disabled ) And of course, i always use the desktop agent to view websites and not the mobile version of websites. Phew...any more gusses?????????????

ok now its clear.if video plays in basic mobile player then you dont have any flash player install and neither you can play flash stuff.the basic use of flash player is to play the video itself on the website screen rather than by mobile player.
and ques about opera not playing that before could be because of an update by them as before we could only download the video by clicking on it.[this functionaly to play flash video in mobile player is common in browsers like dolphine]

flash means "swf files"
all other files can be run by the stock browser using the different available android services.

Adobe Flash Player crashing

Hello
I've installed the KB5Deodexv15 rom
flash videos worked fine, flash plugin would allow me to watch videos and stuff like that
Now I am not sure what program I installed recently that is now making Adobe Flash Player work and after that it crashes ( I see an icon instead of the video)
Does anybody knows what can cause that?

Karbonn A7 browser auto closes

I am using Karbonn A7 which I bought today only.
It is good in all features but I have one problem.
Whenever I am trying to open a page having a video which is not embedded from youtube, the browser automatically closes.
Let me put it in this way, when I opened dailymotion and clicked on a specific video, the page opened but when the video page fully loaded and I clicked on the video to play, then the browser automatically closed.
I tried in both the stock android browser and also with the Dolphin HD browser.
Can anyone please help me to solve this issue?
Did u download Adobe flash from store..

I know Dolphin browser (using the desktop useragent) allows me to watch flash videos (Twitch.tv streams, sports streams) online. I'm not sure if flash games work since they're not meant for touch input.
Well that's a start to help. Thank you!

You can get the last official version (for ICS) from adobe themselves here.
Just scroll down the page to Flash Player for Android and choose a suitable version, click on it.
When it is downloaded just open it with package installer.
Voila, you can run flash in your native browser!

[Q] Adobe Flash Player for galaxy note 10.1 running 4.0.4

Ok I purchased 2 samsung galaxy note 10.1's for my mom and dad they are both running 4.0.4
My dad likes to watch movies and has alot of his movies stored on vudu but that requires adobe flash player to watch.
My mother like to play facebook games and those also require adobe flash player to work.
Is there anyway that I can get adobe flash player on these tablets so they can enjoy them the way they would like too.
Please help as I have tried everything that I can think of.
Google search the latest flash player .apk file
Or you can grab it here: https://www.box.com/shared/uift12m7ty697fc8naue
Hello just go to the website in the attached screenshot.
Remember when you install it that flash doesn't work with any browser but your default (internet).
I used this and it works. I watch movies, tv shows and sports.

I have tried this, downloaded and installed. Went on the net and opened facebook to try a game. The game didnt load on the first try as a matter of fact it kicked me off the net and back to the home screen. I tried loading it again and it loaded but after about a minute the screen went white with the play button in the middle.

Tried to download it and the box is telling me " the user hosting the content is out of bandwidth"
I have tried the same thing as you and that happened to me also. However, I never play games on Facebook.
Have you tried to play a movie or tv show? I'm certain that works because I do that all the time.
Let me know how you go in that area,

Thanks downloaded it, but it is not working. I made sure that the security setting was checked and then downloaded it from your site. Opened up facebook thru the supplied browser and could not play the games. I was able to watch the trailers on vudu but could not watch the movies I have stored there.
Any other suggestions.

ok thanks for the info, however 11.1.115.16 version is not listed on the archive page for android 4.0 devices.
I forgot to add that these devices are the GT-N8013 model.
Does anyone know where I can get this version?
When I installed the flash apk it didn't work at first. So I went to the installed apps and clicked on flash and stopped the app. Next I rebooted the tab and when it rebooted and connected to the net I went to the play store and it had an update for flash player. Installed it and its worked since.
Edit; The flash version on my tab is 11.1.115.34 if that helps......
The most recent Adobe update doesn't include mobile flash, Adobe dropped support for mobile flash player earlier this year. Sideload the last archived Android version that you find on Adobe's site. Eventually that version will quit working as Adobe makes more coding changes to desktop flash and no mobile device will be able to properly display any flash content.

I tried this, downloaded the .34 version and installed. Rebooted tablet and reconnected to the internet, went to the play store and there was no update to adobe flash player available.
I always have the APK available in my dropbox. I only have 11.1.115.20, it works flawlessly on my GNote II, Nexus 7, Samsung Tab 2 7.0, and my GNote 10.1
Flash works good on Firefox and puffin browsers as well

Stock browser seems to play nicer with flash videos and using full screen.
Dolphin and dolphin Jet pack both gave me errors.
Will test on Firefox and chrome.
Chrome - working nicely too, faster than stock.
Firefox - loads video but no option to allow full screen Firefox allows (with addon) to download the flash videos from the page.. Works well
Flash video plays very smoothly though...no stuttering.

Ry2mkk is confused
Flash is not supported on Stock Browser or Chrome. Dolphin used to work but now crashes when trying.
Firefox works for me and plays full screen too, there is a flicker at the start of the video.
Using Adobe Flash Version 11.1.115.81
See my screen shot... Flash is indeed working on stock
EDIT ** apologies, guess my site wasn't using a flash video as I've just tried the official flash test using default browser

if that is the case then i repeat my question how did you get it to work on the stock browser? I have been unable to do so?
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/get-back-the-aosp-browser-without-root/
Flash works fantastically with the AOSP version of the stock browser, which includes full screen. AOSP browser also has the bonus of fullscreen browsing + quick controls.
