Samsung will not release android 4.0 for the galaxy Y single sim or dual sim.
The custom ROM (cyanogen, miui, ecc...) does not support any dual sim functionality since the android sdk does not have a standard api for accessing dual sim, so very unlikely you will see any ICS implementation for the galaxy Y duos...

No.. 4.0 is too heavy this phone can't handle latest version.

[Q] generic tablet development

Hello.
i recently bought this device and waiting for it to arrive:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWDH9seo6P0&feature=related
it is a Samsung PV210 1Ghz processor.
is there a way to upgrade it's android version or install a costume ROM?
i know the ROM needs to have the right drivers and suite the device hardware.
am i correct?
how can i "play" a little with this device?
thank you!
Did you ever got into this? I'm also interested
no... no hope

any way to get a custon nokia n95????

Hi guys,
Is someone moving in order to bring a custom rom on this device?
It was already rooted but i'm not seeing any
nope, bootloader is locked in every nokia except n900. one community does not simply port android into nokia.

galaxy y with jelly bean !!!
lolzz!!!
look at its hardware it dosnt even have a stable cm 7 or 9 how it can get jb !!!!
and we wont get jb ever atleast i think so !!
If you meant Galaxy Ace Plus ,yes there may be an update (even I don't think so) because Sometime ago TheWhisp stated that any msm7x27a phone can handle JB ,but if Samsung says it can't handle ,it means that their bloatwares don't fit into our device /mini'2 .As I remember

JB update announced
Hi, was checking for latest fm for my girlfriend's mum's Galaxy Ace Plus - looks like latest currently is Gingerbread, 2.3.6. Samsung did announce JB for the phone, but they did that in September, nearly 1 year ago, so who knows if they are still planning to release or not?
I'm not allowed to post a link yet, but a Google search for "Samsung announces list of devices that will get Jelly Bean" will get you a news item on gsmarena about it.

About this question, I used every possible idea to search on the net and even asked the official member.
Their answer did not match and no website had leak information.
Maybe it was abandoned. But we can rely on developers on XDA to get jelly bean experience of Cyangenmod.
That was the best way I thought!
HELP!!
can somebody help me...i want to upgrade my ace plus to jelly bean but i dont even know how..where can i get the file and the tutorial..can somebody give me the link?

[Q] Use Cyanogenmod of Galaxy Note for ZTE Blade Q Maxi

Hello,
Is it possible to use the Galaxy Note N7000 version of the Cyanogenmod for ZTE Blade Q Maxi?
Hardware-wise, the only difference I could see is that the Note has a Cortex A9 and the ZTE has a Cortez A7.
I'm assuming that resolution, screen and camera sizes are irrelevant.
I have rooted the phone and have made a back-up of the current firmware to the card (which is Orange bloatware weighing a massive 1.1GB).
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's impossible, why don't you search for a custom rom and kernel that are built specially for your device?

yeah they are still very different phones, same with OEM, Samsung is not ZTE they have different bootloaders and such and would brick your phone if you flashed that.

Damn...I thought it was just like on the PC
@Ferris Cruiser : As far as custom ROMs for it go, there aren't any at the moment.
Stock Android 4.2.2 has about 450MB. The back-up made with CWM to the zip card is...drum-roll please...1.5GB, because Orange bloatware. I didn't install any apps except something to root it and CWM.
Can I just flash stock Android 4.2.2 on it? I mean, the Google Nexus 4 ROM. Or would that brick it too?
I'm searching for something, anything, any Android version that might work for it because in the Orange branded version you don't have :
Options for calls/keyboard/home-screens etc. It's very very limited.

flashing any rom that is not ment for your phone will brick it, this goes for almost every devices. there are a few phones suck as the (t-mobile)T989 Galaxy s2 and skyrocket galaxy s2 (at&t) are able to flash each others roms with a mod i think, i have yet to try to flash one of their roms. it looks like your phone has almost about stock android, with a new keyboard or a new launcher. got a perfect status bar already. other than that it should look like a nexus 4.

I understand now, thank you very much for your help.
I've done some late-late-night research and was unable to even install Clockwork Mod on it, it still has the basic Android system recover (3e) from Orange.
I will keep on searching for a way to install recovery on it and flash it. The phone is good, the firmware ruins it.
So thank you all once again for your help.
Love&Peace!

Is very VERY posible, but i can't next the bootloop on AOSCP rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...rom-android-nougat-marshmallow-nokia-t3525392
There are ways to do this and you will be able to find it on Google. However, one thing that we have noticed is if you are using a memory card to use android you must use a microSD card and not SDHC.
