Hello Guys!
I'm new to this forum, the device - ATRIX 2 and hence the OS itself.
I installed Quadrant Standard, and ran a benchmark, it gave 2886 and ranked 6th or 7th, quite apt for a Dual Core device.
But, in Quadrant Standard Benchmark > System Information > CPU, my device displays:
Core: 1
Cores available to Java: 1.
Can anybody please confirm this, or is it just my device showing 1 Core?
Please help me out with this Guys!

Hmm. I just installed it, and system info says I have 2 cores. I'm on the ICS leak though, if that has something to do with it.

Here's the funny thing, the latest update says
v2.1.1 : fixed the cpu core detection bug!1
make sure you have the latest updated version of the app
and for the record, mine scored 1866 and shows 2 cores..
stock unrooted 2.3.6

Actually I had installed Quadrant Standard v2.0 and hence it was showing number of cores as 1. The version v2.1.1 fixes it.
Also, the software Micro CPU Monitor displays the activities of both CPUs.
Thanks to all for the solution and quick replies!

If you do not understand the way processors work, you should not be overclocking your phone.
Also, this thread is about Quadrant scores not troubleshooting.
That said, you may find that the overvolt version may help your issue.

Looking at your sig, I'm intrigued. I'm running what you're running but I haven't attempted a kernal update.
No issues at all with Hydra Kernal? Easy to install?
Thanks for any input.

answering for him: very stable and installing a kernel easy as installing a rom.
btw, just updated
Got this with CM6 RC3.
1280 or so on SkyRaider 2.5.2 vanilla, but I am running stock speed undervolted kernel, so yesterday I had 13h+ of uptime/usage and 28% battery left yet before I went to bed. Seems like a worthwhile tradeoff

Hi all
I am very new to android and in fact SR is my first android phone. I got it rooted last night and was able to uninstall bloatwares using TBU. i have been reading threads about custom kernels and roms that will make my phone faster. but as i have no knowledge on how to get back to stock rom nor want to risk it. i was wondering if i can just overclock cpu speed by using setCPU application from market to 1.836. i heard some people got good antutu scores with it. (obviously with custom kernels and roms though) or i have to have custom kernel and rom to manipulate CPU speed? any answer would be appreciated. thank you

If you installed cwm you can make a nandroid backup, if your new kernal goes silly on ya just restore the backup. All of the questions you have are easily found in the skyrocket forums. Dont forget to check the stickies too.

When using Rom Manager to flash CWM, choose the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 as the one for the Skyrocket.

Another thing i noticed with 5.1.1 rooted debloated is a little decrease in pure performance(8-10%) but it doesnt matter because the phone is much more stable and the heat is less.
For me antutu is between 55000-57000. Other benchmarks are lower than 5.0.1 rooted though.
after using the latest thermal throttling settings im getting a lot better results

H955 rooted with 5.1.1 - 54747 Points,is not hot

How did you change the performance profile? Is it a module or a setting in xposed? I can't seem to find any such setting. Where did you get "adaway" I'm not finding it in the play store.

Only Geekbench 3 is working.
Any ideas?

Nvidia decided to block benchmarking. If you root the tablet you can disable the NvBenchmarkBlocker using something like sdmaid (I found titanium backup isn't working with 6.0 yet. Might be a root issue since not using SuperSU)

Would be nice if Nvidia would be telling such stange things. I can not understand why blocking benchmark at a new tablet on market.
Bootloader is open yet, but with root I will wait to work everthing stable.
