with an ice pack I get more than 52 000, unrooted.

I get h955 nearly 55 000 5.1.1 rooted, so let the phone cool and settle and when its cold try again. Don't try immediately after restart, let it settle down and then test again.

Another thing i noticed with 5.1.1 rooted debloated is a little decrease in pure performance(8-10%) but it doesnt matter because the phone is much more stable and the heat is less.
For me antutu is between 55000-57000. Other benchmarks are lower than 5.0.1 rooted though.

after using the latest thermal throttling settings im getting a lot better results
Sent from my LG-H955 using Tapatalk

My phone is not rooted and has been sitting next to me on my desk at work all morning (room temperature). No super cooling...no root...no problem! Love this thing!

i have at&t 950 flashed 950pr rom and maximum is 41K on my device but it's working like charm no lag at all even no hot problem

H955 rooted with 5.1.1 - 54747 Points,is not hot

H955 rooted. 58252 points - not hot.

Can you share your thermal settings?

54007 rooted v15a H955 Int with stock setings.

I think the maximum we can get for this phone is near 61000 in antutu

How did you change the performance profile? Is it a module or a setting in xposed? I can't seem to find any such setting. Where did you get "adaway" I'm not finding it in the play store.

Performance profile is a module for xposed...just use the search feature to find it.

What profile did you change it to?

hi!
could you share a link, please? (and maybe some screens? :victory
Anything of significance that you'd like to mention? Maybe like, system-wide DPI reduction (I wish T-T) or a cleaner UI? I have too high hopes.
No major changes to the UI. I can't share it sorry. It's a closed preview. Still a few bugs

No major changes to UI? - basically like an incremental update then? maybe just a money spinner hence the KitKat link... and not the Key Lime Pie 5.0 people were expecting.. - ART running OK? - KNOX issues? Change to internal HD size due to smaller OS or bigger OS?
Does it allow you to change from Dalvik to Art?
Isn't the leaked test build on Sammobile..... I did seem to see it being teased yesterday on their site. Sorry I gotta call bs on this since it's already leaked.

No ART? That was the only interesting thing about 4.4...
I must say that as far I have not noticed any bugs in this ROM. I wish that ART is not available, it will be possible in the final version.

When the Android System +AndroidOS have a combined usage of 28% ( more than screen usage)...NOTHING is OK....
It's really annoying to see that OS drain problems being kept over higher version of Android.
I don't have the new play services 4.1 update yet which is supposed to help. Battery I am getting 20+ hours of moderate usage. Good enough for me

OP you have any idea when the official update is supposed to roll out?
Sammobile said the KitKat update for S4 will go live in Feb/March, same for N3?
I don't sorry. But it can't be far. This build is very very stable

just saw this today not sure what caused it. I tried flashing one tweak to show battery % and noticed it then flashed back to stock. Even did a full wipe and restore with no fix.

Just switching the battery icon to a percentage indicator. BTW that's supposed to be the player controls and they still work but the background seems to be messed up

Try uninstalling the update and then reinstall google play music and did u use any app to make that battery mod?
I had this issue running Droidkang ROM and for some time the cataclysm ROM, it is ROM specific and is not produced by stock. I posted about it but there was no solution from anyone other than redoing everything which I did, and it did not help.

It is something to do with something that you have installed because mine did that until I got rid of my custom ROM/ kernel combination.

[Q] Possible battery drain after root?

Hi
Is it possible my phone drains a lot more power after being rooted? It's been plugged out one hour now and already at 84% after barely 40 minutes of SOT.
Not sure if it's the root or not, but rooted it yesterday night and my battery was 'fine' before.
Might just be because I was a Xperia Z3 owner before and the battery life on that one was insane.

Boot into recovery and wipe your cache twice. Should fix it.
It mostly is not root.

Yeah I couldnt get deep sleep either...but i moved on and flashed twrp (using odin)
Then followed others guidance and used flashify to reflash stock recovery and then flashify again to flash twrp.
Deep sleeping absolutely fine now.
