Hi,
whenever the phone is switch off or restarted. the facebook application gives the authentication failed error.
I re-enter the same password which had been used in the app. The sync activity is done again.
Has anyone found a similar problem and it would be great if we have a solution also for this.

I'm having the same problem. It's also soaking my battery life. I've tried all the normal solutions..clearing cache, data, reinstalling ROM, etc.

First time of booting into a new ROM i usually have to open the market app before any sync occurs. There has been an ongoing problem with the market for the last day so it's probably just that. Wait for Google to resolve the issue before doing anything drastic to your phone!
Hi all,
I would like to know, if there is any possible way to make Android Market working without Gtalk.
I have Android 2.3 on my SD card (on HTC HD2) and I realized it is a common problem, that Android Market is not working in this setting. And usual cause and solution of this problem is missing Gtalk.
But I am in country (Czech republic), where Google Talk is not supported.
Is there any way to make Android Market working without Gtalk?
Thanks for any suggestions
EDIT: Problem solved
you cant its not possible.Gtalk is nessecary and the market wont if its not installed

Hmm, I hoped for a kinder answer But the situation with Gtalk is not clear to me...
[1] To working Androd Market I need the Gtalk instaled in my mobile phone. This is the only way to Android Market (AM)?
[2] What about the situation I have a Gtalk account, but not the Gtalk mobile applications. Would I have access to AM in these conditions?
[3] Is there any other way to get applications from AM than a) direct download through mobile phone and b) sending aplication to phone from AM webpage...?
I cannot believe that I am totally cut off AM when I am from Czech republic
well here are the google applications.Flash them and try logging into your market

Thanks for google apps, but this did not help.
I flashed them. I tried the Gtalk - and it worked! But when I tried the Android Market: the AM started, I went to my applications there, select one of them and try to download, but the vending proces errorr occured.
I tried to erase the data of AM process, then I did again as above, but the same error ocured.
I tried another way: to fix market with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17765782&postcount=407, but nothing happened.
you mean it force closed?

Yeah, exactly. Sorry for my bad English and vague terms. I don't have Android in English.
Problem solved
The problem was solved with new ROM (exactly with the MccMBoxmaX GS V11 Android 2.3.3 ROM).
Before I was using the BoxmaX.S3.5.v6.1a ROM and I was not able to make the Android Market running.

You have an application that affects the device administrator thing. For example: Screen off and Lock - That needs to be activated in order for it to work. If you deactivate / uninstall it, the option will come back in Settings>Security
I think it's just a bug in ICS for now, so find the app affecting it.. uninstall and then check that box and reinstall it!
yes, it works. thanks.
hello,
I have same problem but one revolution HD 6.2.1
not possible to install app's from memory card, he show "install blocked" and I must activate unknow sources.
but I have also only screen loocl "Off" and when I change on "ON" I didn't become nothing. ?
what I did wrong ?
thank you
same problem here please help
Superwipe, reflash the Rom, check the "install 3rd party apps" option under security settings, and then do all the Data/Apps restore from your backup.

Hello,
I'm currently running Paki ROM on my Explorer and my problem is that whenever I download a widget from the HTC Hub it completely downloads but then it does not install, giving the error " Unable to install ! ".
This is not the case in JaggyRom V4.1 as I managed to download all the widgets that I wanted.
Moreover, I had copied all the widgets that I had downloaded from HTC Hub in my SD-CARD (When I was using JaggyRom V4.1). But when I try to normally install them I got the error "App not installed", and when I pushed the apps to System/app I still got the same error, even restarting did not help. I even tried flashing the widgets, but still they didn't work.
Please help me as I really need these widgets and apps :
1. Weather (4x4).
2.People (4x4) - The one which shows the contact pictures.
3.Peep - To get twitter in my Friend Stream.
Please get me these apps if possible or at least help me fix the issue.
Thanks in Advance !
Hello, I am using a sharp Aquos crystal(306sh) with root, xposed, and BusyBox all installed. Recently I have been faced with a problem that is quite annoying. Whenever I try to use a VPN app it will give me some sort of error. The main app I use is Betternet and when I tap connect it gives me a toast notification as follows: "Unfortunately, your Android does not support vpn, but you can still try restarting your device to use Betternet." This has become a real problem and has evolved from when it first began happening. when this first started happening it would just tell me to grant permission to Betternet on the prompt I was given, but that prompt would never show up. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me and note that I would be happy to give any additional information on my problem, device, etc.
Hi !
Was this app ever working ? What android version do you have ? Have you purchased it from Google play or downloaded apk ?

Hi, Betternet was downloaded directly from Google play and I am on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It was working before and I am not sure what could have caused the issue.
I've tried myself that app, it's working fine on nougat, uninstal it, reboot, do it again

Thanks, but I have already tried that. I don't think it is a problem with the app, but rather a problem with the system or maybe a conflicting app I have installed. The reason I am asking for help is because I DON'T want to factory reset and I don't want to accidentally make things worse. Do you have any ideas on what may be causing the issue? I would try to find out myself, but I just don't know where to start.
Do you have the VPN settings in network settings?
Try to set up from there
Try a different free VPN to see if it's app or system issue
Try to Google for kitkat vpn issues, apparently there were some reports
Xposed may have something to say, remove what you can until step by step you can identify the culprit

Yes, I do have VPN settings, but I don't know how to connect to Betternet through there. Also, I had googled this for a couple hours before posting and everyone seemed to have a different issue, but I will look again.
Finally, I have tried other apps and they all have the same problem. The problem seems not to be with connecting, but rather getting permission from the system to connect.
