XBOX 360 Controllers + USB TYPE A FEMALE 2 FEMALE ... Not working ... Anyone else having issues with there XBOX360 controller Thanks.
what controller?
obviously using a wired controller? or are you using standard controller with the usb charging cable? did you try and OG xbox controller?
Maybe you need a usb 3 adaptor to get it working, just like for charging.

I'd be interested to see if works through the dock to see if its a driver issue or an issue using an adapter through the charging cable. Does the charge port output any power?
Are the lights on the controller on or off?

Lights are on when plugged in. I will have to try it with an USB3 cable tonight.

Wait... this is still not clear from your answers. Are you using:
A) Wireless X360 controller attached to USB via the Plug and Play charge kit
B) Wired X360 controller
If you are using A, you cannot communicate to the device via the USB connection. That is for charging only. No control signals can pass to the controller using that connection.
If you are using B there should be no cable to replace since the wired controller is hardwired.
to my understanding, only a true wired 360 controller will work. the wireless through plug and play or windows dongle will not work. i can attest to that as i've tried both with no luck.
The windows wireless dongle works on rhe xoom. I don't see why it doesn't work on my asus
I have the true wired controller and used that female adapter from amazon and it didn't work at all.

I have a wired Xbox360 controller and it doesn't work on the TF101.
I have the keyboard dock and 3.1.
When plugged in, the green lights flash but it's not picked up in any apps as an input method.
I think the 360 support may be broken.

+1 My wired 360 controller does not work when plugged into my dock with 3.1. However, my PS3 controller with attached usb cable does work
i have tried 2 generic usb contols from GAME, both light up and are powered, but neither show any input in any apps or games.
has anyone here got any game control to work yet?
this is a bug with the transformer
wired 360 controllers work with the xoom. this is an asus bug.
please report it to asus by calling them:
http://service.asus.com/callus.html
or emailing them:
http://vip.asus.com/eservice/techserv.aspx
as of now they're not even acknowledging this. the only way to get it fixed is to get it some visibility by reporting it.
You need to make sure your using a keybiard dock and are running updated stock asus firmware/Rom and the xbox controller is fully wired, the detatchable usb charging wire is only for charging, my wired madcatz controller will work natively while my wireless controller pluged in with the usb cable will not

Hi guys,
Just bought my wife a CNM Touchpad II 7" and could not download apps from any android stores, so soon found out that i needed to flash to firmware 2.2 from cnm.
I have downloaded it and followed the instructions but for the love of god it wont work. I have unzipped the RK2818 android upgrade tool and on button 1. Followed the path to the upgrade 'image' then turn my touchpad on whilst holding the esc key and plug in with usb.
Apparently the device upgrade button should then light green and i let go of esc and click on upgrade...unfortunately this does just not happen. It did turn pink once apart from that zip.
Anyone pls help me as im close to sending it back.
many thanks
what is an HP Touchpad II 7"

Cant post link as am nubie on forum, but basically its an HP Touchpad 2 Android Tablet
ok its not an Hp its made by CNM my mistake. Im trying to update the firmware to 2.2 but having problems
hi.
i have one of these too and was quite pleased with it for the price.
i did manage to upgrade my rom to the latest firmware from http://www.cnmlifestyle.com/
i had the same problem at first if i recall correctly. what i discovered was that the usb port you have to connect the touchpad to needs to be a powered one.
i have to usb ports on my laptop. one which is powered - even whilst the laptop is switched off. upgrade failed on the other usb port.
try connecting the touchpad directly to your pc. without any external hubs etc.
hope that works for you.
i thing i get since upgrading is that my pad behaves very strangely since. it switches itself on randomly but after a few seconds screen shuts off again.
it may turn on a few times in the space of 20 seconds.
after this, the device seems to die. i will not wake up no matter what key i press!
only way to wake it up is to connect it to either the powersupply or a usb cable.

I can only get the wireless xbox controller working with the reciever thing. But it sucks cause it dies on me every ten mins. How did u get the wired controller working at all? I also have the finless rom. i plug it in and the wire seems to send power to the controller as it turns my xboxwith no batteries.
Really want this working, any thoughts or may the problem be the chinease charging cable i got on ebay?
Used to be i could use a OTG cable and connect my 360 controller to my phone to play SNES and what not the lights in the center would all flash but as of a week ago when i plug it on the upper right and lower left lights stay solid with the other 2 not coming on and it will not interact with the phone, i have tried 2 differant controllers and cables, anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Hi everyone I'm new here so please be gentle........I was advised that you guys were the ones to speak to about how to get my gamepad to work on my android box so here goes........it's a wired 360 pad and I have an M8S rooted android box when I plug the pad in it lights up as if it's connected but that's all it does and I was hoping someone could shed some light on it........I think the box may be a clone but it works well and I've never had a problem with it, it does all that I ask of it and has done since November last year
