We are pleased to announce the first release of Virtuous Infinity.
This ROM is the first ever which brings the full Sense 4 experience to your favorite WVGA device.
Thanks to great effort of our M10 team (including Cypis, Diamondback and Flemmard) we finally cracked the new m10 format to bring you the lastest HTC software!
It is based on the 1.11.401.110 release RUU of VilleC2. We would like to give special thanks to Football for the RUU.
This build currently is a X-Series release, however, it is suitable for use as a daily driver if you can live with a few minor bugs.
We hope to have the ROM feature complete as soon possible. Check bellow for a full list of what is working and what is not.

um... i installed it and a few things i have to say: The touchscreen is screwed. What i mean is that if you want to touch something at the bottom of the screen, you have to touch the top area of the screen to do it. ill let you know if other bugs arise.

Cause i was curious lol. I can't even unlock the screen on first boot. Like the touch is off and i can't quite grab the ring, it just bounces like i tapped the screen. about to delete the lock just to get past it
Been testing the rom from a full wipe.
Pretty slugish and stuttery also the camera does not work at all for me on my desire HD when you try to open it, it does nothing.
also google new voice commands do not work, all i see is a spinning circle and thats it never goes away unless i press back key.
animation in videos and clock and weather ect are stuttering like hell.

those are just what i have found so far of the 5 minutes i have had use of it, will test some more tomorrow.
The touch screen is reversed lol, to unlock it at the beginning you have to swipe from notification bar down

Wow. Touch screen is off. Couldn't even get into the phone. But I rebooted and reinstalled my other rom. Excitement lead on by disappointment.

Ok guys here is my Doubleshot port.
It a little laggy due to the size of the ROM after flashing I have 55mb left.
I will be working on it more should have it full running soon.

In order the flash this rom you need to partition your sdcard.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. BACK UP YOUR MEMORY CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Select Partition sdcard
4. Select Partition SD
5. swap at 0mb
6. Ext2-size = 2048 (this is 2GB the reason so big is because of the 3.0 packages taking up so much space)
7. Select upgrade ext2 to ext3
8. Now go back and mount your sdcard
9. Drag all your files including the ROM
10. Flash the Rom and enjoy!!!
Coming from a different ROM got to(RA recovery) wipe/wipe all userdata/factory rest.

Yes, chubbz - great job on the Doubleshot ROM. I'm posting from it now.
Here's what I've found so far:
- Bluetooth: Turns on, but won't find my Car Kit. I had the same issue with Leo's ROM.
- Voicemail # in Settings: I know you said VM wasn't working, but I thought you were just referring to the lack of VVM. You can't even change the VM#. I guess that's because of all the T-Mo/GSM customization?
- Weather: it ALMOST works, but just as it shows me the temp on the screen, it closes. I guess that's because hardware acceleration isn't completely working (even though I see it's on your "working" list)?
Overall, it's pretty responsive, and I do like the Sense 3.0 features, like the carousel and the launcher shortcuts. Great job so far, and I look forward to future releases.
P.S. I hate that T-Mobile barfed all over this ROM, with all their customizing and pink highlights ...

I gave it a whirl.. got the low memory message as soon as it booted. The weather widget loads but crashes when you click it. Carousel works but pretty laggy. Went back to the ginger sense for now but will try again later.
just flashed. a quick force close on "htc sense" on first boot but loaded fine. only 35mb left after install. google talk doesn't open at all. overall the rom is very responsive!

This ROM is Gingerbread 2.3 with Sense 1.0! Do not confuse this with undarated's version here that is also Gingerbread with Sense 2.1.
See post #2 for information on how to get the source files from Google Code. This way makes it simpler to share so that anyone can build and/or modify their own version. I'll be using that method to update this further since I've gotten used to it and find it much easier.
Introduction:
This is a port of the MyTouch 4G's Gingerbread leak found on 911sniper's blog. I took this on for two reasons. First, I haven't seen anyone else do a port of this and Second, I used to use Zenulators (Hero CDMA) ZenExp ROM from the MT3G and I loved it. This is a work in progresss, please keep that in mind when posting replies. All feedback is welcome and I'll do my best to answer any questions that arise.

Get the Source:
1. Set up dsixda's Android Kitchen
2. Download one of the numerous Subversion clients available. (Win-TortoiseSVN Mac-Versions or Cornerstone Linux-Do a Google search)
3. Open up your SVN client and check-out "http://mytouch-evo-4g.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ mytouch-evo-4g-read-only" to a working folder within the kitchen.
4. If you just want the latest version then run 99 in the kitchen and check the "OUTPUT_ZIP" folder for the finished ROM.
5. If you want to add customizations the do so as you wish. If you encounter any problems and need to revert, do step #3 again and it will start you over. (Note: It will only download the files that have changed since the last time you downloaded)
If you want to contribute (which I wholeheartedly welcome) then shoot me a PM here with everything you've done to customize this ROM and a gmail address. If I'm convinced that you'll positively influence this ROM then I'll have you added to the committer list.
If you feel like something should be added to the ROM that isn't already, either open up an issue on Google Code or send me a PM here and I'll consider adding it.

Cool, I hope you get this 100% working .. I love running MyTouch 4G ports when they work correctly. Use to use Zens port for the hero all the time! Keep up the good work and hopefully this will be 100%, I am really looking forward to this!

Virtuous Codename: Trentacinque Beta
Maybe some of you already saw on Virtuousrom Website that I was able to leak some screenshots of the new Virtuous ROM. But now I was able to leak a complete build from them *lol*
But now to the "real" stuff:
The rom itself is based on the Runnymede RUU 1.05.401.4. After some days with trying to make this build really stable we still need to say this rom is still in a early build state. So be aware that there will be some problems left. Also there aren't any tweaks at the moment in the rom. We first want to make it stable and then begin to add some nice features.
As you maybe already saw we have no name for the rom at the moment. Therefore we started a thread in our own forum where we got a lot of suggestions for it. We will now try to pick up the best five suggestions and then start a poll here on XDA.

I'm not sure what changed in the Sense Exchange sync app but I can't sync with my companies now . Deal breaker for now and back to my old Virtous rom.
I get the following incompatible error: Device encryption enabled
Installed and everything works. GPS, wifi, mobile and sync restored my apps and settings. Not getting any lag and also noticed the weather animation sounds no longer crackle on inspire. It's definitely in good shape for a beta.

Can someone test bluetooth voice dial? 2.39 locks up and requires a battery pull, very frustrating when I go to press the button to answer a call that hangs up and I end up locking up my phone...

I just setup my account and exchange works fine. The company I work on uses Exchange 2010 and it works fine.

Question
Not specifically a deal breaker. I have tried several 3.5 ROMS and have a favorite but always tend to want to go back to Virtuous. But will the camera on this ROM feature a working self portrait mode? I have a cam apk from a 3.0 rom that i can install on my current 3.5 rom and it works but when i reboot phone is reverts back to the stock cam. Just wondering is that a feature HTC removed from the 3.5 roms?

This is by far the best Sense Rom that I have used. I have no problems with Exchange or bluetooth voice dial(for those of you that were wondering). All of the other Sense roms have some weird issues that I have found no solution to. RcMix3d doesnt even boot even with full wipe of data/cache/Dalvik. And some of the others have weird things like Navigation just FCs every time i try and use it, or they are just slow. Anyway nice work on the Rom, love Virtuous stuff always smooth and is my old reliable if I am in a Sense mood for the day(yes the day, i have a flashing addiction, its a problem, i am working on it). I could not wait any longer for the final which I believe its been released next Monday, and flashed the beta2. Everything is super smooth and have not encountered any issues. Way to go Virtuous!
Just wanted to post, I loaded this rom today coming from Unity 2.39 and what a nice upgrade. Everything is working really smooth so far. Very happy with the upgrade. Was going to wait for the final but this beta is as good as a final.

I'm not sure but won't Virtuous Ten Studio do the job?
I think resize pictures should be easy, but every meethod of disassemble apk fails. magic code and class not found etc..etc... it should be nice if i got something usable... But i am strong.

I have a small idea. Set up an IRC channel and call all Desire S devs who are interested and think they can resize this. I think djpbx and Floatshow could help. You can divide work and probably get it done much faster than doing all this alone I hope Kernel 3 for DHD leaks soon, some of their devs have experience in resizing.
Also, you may want to start with a modified ROM (like LeeDroid) instead of the stock one, so we get all the tweaks (like landscape launcher/lockscreen, transparent app drawer, custom app drawer matrix etc ) to begin with. It's gonna be really hard to resize each apk again for them.
One last thing - use the keyboard from Sense 4A. One app less to resize

yea you can use some apps from the sense 4 ports
like htc music,htc mail etc...
How long to upload? I would like to try my hand in it.
Nope, all other apps have features stripped off, except SystemUI (which doesn't require resizing) and Htc IME. No point in replacing other apps.

it goes well, lockscreen fixed(ime was the first fixed)(now we can unlock the screen, because the ring was outside of the screen ) Now i fixing launcher and then i will upload. If i can't do anything with stock apps, i will kill permission check in packagemanagerservice, and then it will be with 4A apps, but i think the difference between 4 full and 4A are apps and widgets only.
Excellent. Could you please also enable landcape mode in launcher?? I think all you need to change is one line in AndroidManifest.xml, something from nosensor to sensor. You could replace stock apps in the beginning for the initial release, and replace them as you resize. Thanks a lot for your work

Pyro Ice hasn't been updated in a long while, try this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657050 They seem to have resized the Rosie pretty nicely. I hope their system apps work in your port, making a full port of a ROM based on One X is impossible for us.....

I haven't tried it with Team Win. Theoretically it should work, but I am saying that I know it will work with CWM. Let me know if it works and I will add to the post

Thanks for posting this I never got my build up. I've been running one since Friday and in my build I believe that rotation is working.
Pretty much everything else in my build sucks though haha

No color banding anywhere so far on this rom! Worth not having wifi just to cure my ocd. Can anyone else try uninstalling an app and report if your color banding is gone?

I don't think so but it is definitely a software issue. My note had it and the ice leak mostly took care of it.
In the android system itself its a huge improvement. When you look at images on Google of gradients you can still see it if you are zoomed in but again its a big difference
