Step 1: Download 3.33 firmware from the thread in the dev section. The file you download should be called "PG58IMG.zip" (without the quotes) so if it isnt rename it to that then copy it to the root of your sd card.
Step 2: Put the sd card into the phone and boot into the bootloader using vol up and power keys. Then follow the onscreen instructions to flash the firmware.
Step 3: wait until the firmware is flashed - do not turn the phone off or remove the battery or do other stupid thing as this will brick your phone.
Step 4: Download the latest version of whatever ROM your using and flash it through 4EXT recovery
Step 5: Done! Reboot and enjoy!

[Q] Possible brick while installing Android Revolution?

I need help!
My HTC sensation 4G is stuck on the boot screen where it says, "htc quietly brillant" I followed all the steps to flash, and install the rom. What can I do at this point?
For those who have installed Android Revolution, how long did it take you to boot up? And also I can still use bootloader and recovery and such. Please help!
Did you install the required firmware? It sounds like you didn't. Also after installing firmware, remember to remove PG58IMG.zip from your SD card.
What is the required firmware?
Seriously, did you just Google 'custom ROM' and then click the first link you found? Messing around with ROMs, firmwares, kernels and apps can leave you with an unusable phone - as you have now found.
Please, please, please go and read the instructions in the Android Revolution thread. It's all there, I promise.
Lulz. Yea u need 3.24 fw. The directions are in huge bold letters.
Its super easy to do.

Sent From Space Using My ICS Flavored Sensation

Awesome. Ok. It should be running now. Yes?
Sent From Space Using My ICS Flavored Sensation
Omg it worked yesss thank you so much your a life saver!!!!
Dont flash any gingerbread based roms now that u have the 3.24 firmware.
Also if u dont like this rom i HIGHLY suggest u try virtuous inquisition V3.0 thats what i run and its pure awesomness. Also remeber that anytime u flash an ics rom make sure u install that superwipe each and everytime u flash a rom.

[Q] I have no Notification(status) bar, also background is black...

Hi, today I bought a phone from someone that was already flashed, unlocked etc.. it has ICS installed. When I boot up the phone there were no status bar at the top and background was black..
I am really a noob here and with those programs so if you could help me please that'd be appreciated!
If you need any info just ask ty !!
Please someone, I need help
Going to need a few more details. What ROM are you running? What version? What's the firmware version? You can find this information in the 'about phone' bit in the settings.
My first port of call if this was the case would probably to either repair permissions, or seeing as you've only just got your phone, reflash the ROM or flash another one. Quickest and easiest way, and all possible through Recovery.

Software version is the ROM that you are running, So in your case its InsertCoin 5.1.5
Download the ROM from the development section, And put it on your SD Card and flash it in recovery, Or do a factory reset and see if that helps.
to get into recovery you have to go through bootloader (unless you have advanced power menu)
If you dont know how to do this, Get to the general section and read the stickies.
You really ought to know what goes on in bootloader and recovery before you start selecting options and making matters worse

Can you lead me to the right link please ? I don't even know what to download :/
Choose a ROM you want to flash, I would suggest to stick with your current ROM to make this process easier for you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468683
Make sure you have everything needed to run this ROM, detailed instructions and downloads will be on the 1st page of the thread.
To get into bootloader remove and re-insert battery.
Hold down Volume Down + Power at same time.
then toggle with volume keys to get into required field, such as recovery / fastboot ect.

it work for me but i still want to know what is the problem and if the new apk is with full capabilities like the broken one
With the new ARHD 6.5.4 its been a common problem, just download LeeDriod tweaks and it fixes it.
I had the same problem. However a quick Google soon helped me. Apparently it's the .apk file. I used Winrar to replace the .apk did a superwipe, re-flashed the rom and it works a treat. Really top notch stable rom. Can't ask for more.

Sure thing buddy.
I'm gonna have to link you to one page though.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
That one. You need to go there and download the 3.32 unlocked firmware that matches your carrier/cid. Kohr-Ah put together a great set of firmware images that lets you bypass super-cid. Find the 3.32 unlocked that works for you, download it, and put it on the SD card (not in any folders). For example, if I'm on T-Mobile USA, I'll scroll down to Page Two, T-Mobile, and select the 3.32 firmware.
Then, with the device powered off, volume down + power until you get to the bootloader. When it asks to update, follow through with it. Then, if you have a card reader, use it to delete the 3.32 unlocked firmware file from the SD card. If you don't, use a buddies android phone and a file manager like ES File Explorer. If you can't do that, take the SD card out, boot into the bootloader and select recovery. Then, put the SD card back in before it actually boots into the recovery. Now, you can wipe and install ARHD and it'll boot up just fine.
In the event that that still doesn't work. Make sure you download Superwipe from Mike's ARHD page. Run Superwipe from the recovery, then install the rom, then it'll 99.99% likely boot.
Good luck. Come back with any questions.
I am unsure how to help, the only think i know that may help is that i think the CID stands for cellular ID and it identifies your phone, so maybe you have flashed something that is giving the wrong device ID?

You're not too far off. The CID usually just identifies what carrier you're on, and most carriers have multiple CIDs. It's possible to change, but not accidently. It's a multi step process that's very specific and involves using Fastboot.
Sorry about grammer, posted from phone.
Follow all the steps detialed by member sshede and + one thing is to do super cid if ur phone is not so u'll be able to flash any rom u like even if it was stock or custom 3.6or sense 4 with the right firmware for sure
Good luck

Hi,
In order to SuperCID go HERE ,and follow STEP 4.
Unfortunately, it seems you will need to super-cid in this case. It's not hard, just follow the steps in the link and follow them exactly.
The process only takes about 5 minutes start to finish.

Mike recommends Superwipe for ARHD, it's in the thread. Not sure what the real benefit is, but since he developed the rom, it might be wise to take him up on it.

Happen to have finally found that post searching all dayand looking thru it now, but thank you for being there. let you know how it works out for me. thx again
Ive been trying the unbrick method all day with diff linux systems, on 1st script I get..."The bricked device is on" ...Use the above node to perform operations using the emmc_recover tool". with NO feedback....
1.Would flashing the ARHD6 XE on my Tmobile Sensation 4g be the cause of the brick?
2. Would I have to us the Sensation XE package to unbrick instead of Sensation 4g if that were the case.
unbrick guide is Great, just need to know where I may be going wrong!
thx
One possible reason is your battery you mention that youre battery was 38% charged when you flashed. It may haved dropped during flashing and you might didnt notice the flash method did not finish properly.
Lesson here is do not flash rom if youre battery is lower than 50% coz you wouldnt know what will happen. For safe flashing make sure you are fully charged.
Hope you recover phone coz it looks like it will be recovered using the method posted by malybru.

3. decided to try new Rom, ARHD6 XE with beats (not sure if meant for TMO Sen 4G)
4.flash completed, went black on reboot
5. Computer now see it as QHSUSB_DLOAD
6.Used Ubunto8 & Knoppix to run script ./brickdetect.sh.... "No return" script reply
7. now the PHtoolz live CD, but "file not in Directory" when clearly in Home/Ubuntu folder
ANY ADVICE!!?

There is no need to update HBOOT. Just skip that step and continue unlocking on htcdev site. That is what I did, and I beleive many others. I wrote this down several times, and this is the last one. It worked for me without issues, whatsoever.

so if skipping that step, i go into bootloader mode, choose fastboot ,and proceed with step 5 and so on?? is that rite???
