The title says it all. Just wondering if I f'd up by buying this battery...

To clarify, the vibrant uses a 1500 mAh battery while ours came with a 1650. I think they have the same physical dimensions.

Yes I have 5 vibrant batteries I use...I got them on Amazon for $6.00 each....and an external charger that came with a battery for around $30.
Wasn't sure if you were asking due to price of batteries,if not then disregaurd.
But yes the vibrant battery works well.

Dim screen.

Buddy of mine just bought a gently used skyrocket and the screen is much dimmer than the one he got when the phone first came out.
Is this a common issue? Custom kernels address this issue? Thanks!

Not a common issue i know that on Mohans EmbryoICS rom it has a tweaked screen for battery performance but it shouldnt be super dim if it is i would return to stock using Vincoms Stickie and see if the screen changes

You should try using Odin to full flash stock again and see what happens cuz it shouldn't be dim

Battery Life Troubleshooting

So I just wanted to share some insight that I got from the BetterBatteryStats thread, my phone was plummeting real hard and it turns out it was a file on my SDCard(not sure what I purged the whole thing), but my advice is to try taking your SDCard out and see how battery life is after that. I know mine is shipping the battery now.

Bad is relative. If you break it down into good or bad then yeah quite a lot of things are bad. But if you add 'meh' as a category then most things fall into that

Sorry bout the lateness and obviousness but it is a big battery drain and data waste. Installed than deleted right away. Seems like something that would be better off on a phone for Sprint or T-Mobile
