I was in China, which is a problem through hardware repair method to repair the phone?

Sorry you're late to the train man, but we currently have NO WAY of repairing this. And we have NO WAY of going back to GB ATM either.
You're phone is bricked bud. Time for a replacement.

There's already been a thread posted regarding the leak and bricking: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782337Hard brick? Actually, the first handful or so of threads have discussions within regarding the leak and bricking resulting from trying to FXZ back to stock.
Please search before posting new threads on something that's being discussed already.

[Q] Need to return phone for service

Hey guys I've been searching google.com and xda forums for the last 3 hours trying to find a way to unroot my phone so I can bring it in for service. My phone's speaker broke and I get no sound so I have to bring it into the store. What would you guys suggest to do? I don't want to use Odin cause it's not recognizing my phone and I don't want to trip the counter using the .tar Any help please!
Got to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342348
Follow all instructions exctly and your phone will be 100 percent stock no root
Well first thank you for your reply. Ive been trying this method but I can't get Odin to detect my phone in download mode. It detects it when the phone is booted. I've reinstalled drivers and rebooted computer nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Did you flash cwm? If not and all you want to do is unroot that's simple..install a root file explorer and delete superuser.apk. now they can't tell you rooted the phone.

Why don't you brick it instead?

if its just a speaker, they most likely will just replace the speaker.
Make sure you backup anything you dont want to loose, they may wipe the phone ,
I got a laptop back one time, that just needed a new keyboard, they wiped the damn thing, retards. ( this was way back before i was smart enough to do all that myself lol )

Weird, my warranty replaces my phone for free if it won't even turn on. Plus, there isn't physical damage.

There is a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Against hardware defects.. excluding water damage

[Q] [Help] Brick Due To Corrupt FXZ File

My friend has an Atrix 2 that suddenly bricked on him due to a corrupt fzx file.
Any way to unbrick?
(I apologize for having no knowledge about an Atrix 2. I work with HTC phones. Just trying to help a friend out.)

Is it a full on hard brick, or a soft brick?
A soft brick, means you get the dual core and motorola logo screens.
A hard brick means it does not even power on.
If it is the latter there is nothing that can be done. If it is a soft brick you can re-download the fxz, and re-flash and bring it back to life.
Yeah, it's a hard brick man.
It won't even turn on.
Nothing he can do about it huh?

Is this an unlucky guy, or every time using a corrupted fzx then hard brick happens? :\
Corrupt FXZ File means one of these inside the zip file damaged but we don't know which one should be, so maybe it could be bootloader file. OMG, we can get a hardbrick if flash damaged or wrong boot file !
Checking the md5 will eliminate most corrupt file issues.
Motorola lied and I'm still locked mb865

There is one method in the android development section it has been there for months and it's the first post. There are to others that have been updated since it was posted last year also in the android development section. Lastly all the methods work you just have to CAREFULLY follow directions.
Yes its hard yo find all the tight files I have Odin 307 I think do you know if that will work with the files?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Yes it will work.
Is it beanstwon method that you are referring to?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Yes it doesn't require Odin. It is just a one click method.
Oh OK I read a lot of the comments and they are positive feedback but as I watched on this guy on YouTube his comment section are loaded with this "messed up my phone" or "don't do this this doesn't work" very little comments that said this worked for me. If this doesn't work on the first try I understand using another USB port on the computer is an option and using a different cord other than the one Samsung gives you is also an option. Is there anything to know about before doing this? This phone s my daily driver and I really don't want to have to use a prepaid phone.
And Should I also download the stock ROM not rooted before doing in case it does like some kind of soft brick?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Well I have never tried the one click method as I use Odin to root my phone. So get the stock roms as backup in case you run into problems with casual.
OK thank you so much for the advice and I'll shall let you know what happens.

One more question before I do this. Will I still be able to get back to stock like usual if its a hard brick?

If you hard brick your phone you send it to jtag and pay them to get it fixed because nothing else works.
If you are feeling squeamish about the whole thing then it is probably a better idea not to do it.

Just thought you might like to know that I just used CASUAL this morning to root my galaxy s3 on Verizon build VRBMF1 with no problem. CASUAL unlocks the bootloader and installs TWRP which I like so far. Just make sure you grab the right download and if it doesn't work the first time try again with a different mirror. There's a version of it floating around out there that for some reason wouldn't work with my drivers.
Hope this helps ease your mind a little. Oh btw I probably read 1000 posts about rooting and the best method and someone claims to have bricked their with every single one of them. It's a risk we take.
