Not exactly sure what the problem is here, but my tablet has been stuck on pure linux for a while now and I really would like to get back to android. The problem is, I had to order a new sync cable off of Ebay. It was $8 with shipping, my tablet is recognized under xUbuntu and everything, but wheelie throws a major issue. Not sure if maybe this is due to the cord. Here is what I bought.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Slider SL101 Prime TF201 SYNC CHARGE Data Cable. Was it a bad buy or is my tablet almost done for?

EDIT: After a few more attempts, I finally got it to get to 'Sending Bootloader', but it seems to have gotten stuck.
EDIT2: I loaded up Ubuntu and installed GParted. It shows that the mmcblk0 area is completely unformatted. Is it possible that I may not be able to flash due to this? How can I fix it? GParted is showing the Warning "Unrecognised disk label".
EDIT3: Not sure what happened buy after trying about 30 different APX drivers and about 5 tests each, it finally works. Back on android.

I'm sure others have done this but I brightened up the picture in PS and it's obviously a phone next to a tablet. Could be that they are paired together or could be the launch of the first ICS tablet. Thoughts?

ASUS padfone
you are reading too much into it
the only real phone tablet is the ASUS padfone, which was previously mentioned already on the original topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289656

read the article & almost fainted. If this get's true (although soooo unlikely somehow) it would be awesome.
It just get's me thinking ... Optimus Prime -- Nexus Prime?

according to the article, it's saying Google / Samsung is copying the idea from Asus

By saying I'm reading too much into it are you saying that I think the phone and tablet are paired together? Because that's not what I think at all...
I suppose that they will just announce both smartphone and tablet with ICS
Personally I think the whole, empty tablet that makes your phone screen bigger is ridiculous. If you wanna pair the two, have the tablet half pump some power into the situation.
I decided to download and install PC suite to backup my phone data to laptop but I seem to have hit a snag LG suite doesn't seem to be displaying anything right. I'm getting no letters except 1 word saying *null and a Number which seems to be some kinda version but no other text. When I hover over the gear thing a small box appears but there is nothing in it just a empty white floating box. When I run the update agent it finds my phone and mass storage works just the lg suite that doesn't seem to work. Am I missing some font pack or something since it only seems to be text that's missing?
I'm running windows 7 64 bit would this make a difference? According to LG site windows 7 is supported
Here is a screen shot

Decided to try running the program today and it worked which makes no sense as I haven't changed anything I'm just happy I can finally sync data with my laptop and do this update which apparently got released the other week.
Hi all, I have one problem, my TF101 doesn't boot anymore, only to APX mode, and when i use Wheelie, it does all perfectly until it reaches the it just stucks at:
Code:
[+] Sending bootloader...
Sending file: 100%
It always happens, in Ubuntu, Wheelie, EasyFlasher... I don't know what to do I always select the SBK2 option (my TF101 is B80). My PC detects APX mode, and has the drivers. Any ideas why this is happening?

No answers, I assume there's no solution, anyways, thanks to all who at least read to try to help.
the same problems, no hints?
Hardware failure?
The usual... uninstall and delete the drivers, reinstall the recommended one (the universal naked drivers), and try again. Do this even if everything appears ok, there still may be corruption of some sort, like chkdsk messing up a driver file or moving it, etc.
After new installation, the same problem. 100% and after nothing.
I sale the tablet, because i'm not the specalist.
Thanks for you hint.
Okay this may sound silly but here it goes!!
I'm about to build a new computer, but I only have one desktop monitor . . . and it's attached to the crappy computer soon to be landfilled heh.
If I have to I can of course disconnect my huge NEC widescreen monitor and haul it over to my bench, but what would be too cool would be to rig my little tablet in some way that it displays the activity of the new computer as it takes its first boot.
Because if it doesn't boot, then I'm going to need online help from the home-built forums to troubleshoot what I've connected incorrectly. I would like to have both computers at my disposal as I am building, in other words. I have never done this before, but I have (2nd Gen. DSL) WIFI here at home and I can too easily picture me hauling my monitor back and forth NOT! lol
I saw the free Chrome app (Chrome Remote) but . . . I'm not sure that would work on a new build such as mine because I won't even have partitioned my drives let alone installed Chrome.
Any suggestions? Can this even work? Which Play Apps would I use?
Thanks guys!

BUMP! Help?
I recently upgraded both of my computers to Windows 10 and have been moving some files over to my TF700 via USB. Yesterday my computer just stopped recognizing it as a USB device.

I uninstalled the driver and tried going back in and installing it manually by selecting 'Asus Android Device' and this list popped up:
I've tried several of them and it still doesn't show up as a USB device. Any ideas? I'm confused because it was showing up fine one day and then I plugged it in the next and it won't show up.
Did you try to reboot both devices?
Try different USB ports

Yeah I've tried both of those. No clue what could have changed overnight.
Me neither. But I recently read about a guy who had to uninstall another device's sync utility to get adb/fastboot back. Maybe something along those lines?
In a pinch you can use a live Linux CD like this one: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...t/46090-guide-adb-fastboot-linux-live-cd.html
