Android kijiji app

Hey xda, I was wondering if anyone was looking into making an android app for kijiji. I'm personally not a fan of the mobile site. So much more could be done from within an app. Thanks everyone!

There are a couple apps for kijiji Canada in the marketplace but the free app sticks on California for me and won't change. The other is a pay app and has mediocre ratings.
There was a free app for kijiji that was pulled from the market recently. If anyone has the APK, I wild appreciate it f you could post it. It was com.unofficial.kijijica

I realize this reply is kind of late but I contacted kijiji recently and they have assured me that an official android kijiji app will be completed soon.
Cant wait myself. Thats about the only thing i still use my computer for.

I just tried installing the Kijiji app off of the Google Play store, but unfortunately it is incompatible with my new Nexus 7 (non-rooted).
I've tried looking for an APK for the app, but to no avail.
Will rooting allow me to install this app off the google play store?

I've rooted mine, but still could not get Kijiji on there. Looking for the APK file. If you find one, let me know!

Mobile Magic app

I was wondering if someone could do me a favor and download the mobile Magic apk and share it with me. It is free in the market but not listed as compatible with my current phone so I want to try the apk to see if that works.

google is your friend good sir. Just type "mobile magic apk" and you should find it
EDIT: Went to search for it myself, couldn't find it so I've downloaded it for you.

Yea, I tried looking through google and couldn't really find it. Thanks for downloading it for me, it worked!
Not sure why my device is still listed as not compatible and they are not allowing the phone to see it on the market.

Sometimes if your not stock thought it depends on what it says in the build.prop file. You have to change it back to the model of your phone.

Is that SUPPOSED to be 7 bytes? That seems tiny.

My new phone is stock. I have the Rezound and it is just not on the list of compatible devices so the app is not visible in the market and can't be installed from the web either (through the market).
My guess is it is because of the higher resolution compared to most other phones and the lack of testing, but I installed the apk and it fired right up and looks great. The only downside is that I may have to do this again when it gets closer to my trip since I am assuming no updates will come through either (unless my device is added to the compatibility list by then).
Thanks again (and yes it is 7 MB not 7 bytes, so it is pretty big)

Try using "Download All Files" app or use the Opera browser. This happens to me a lot when trying to download apks from the stock browser.

I hate to bump up this old thread, but we are heading to Disney in a little over a week and I wanted to get the latest version of the app and it still isn't "compatible" with my Rezound so I can't download it and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can someone download it for me (since it is compatible with the Charge) and post the apk?

Hello all,
Sorry to bring this thread up again, but I was wondering whether anyone had a link to download an .apk of the new version of Disney Mobile Magic (v3.0.0) released this week. We're off to Disneyworld soon as I was hoping to install it on my Galaxy Nexus for the trip. Thanks!

New Tablet, no Market... HELP!!

I bought a new 4" tablet from chinavasion and it has NO market on it at all. I tried downloading a goodplaystore.apk but it would install but not open. Anyone have any clue on what I can do?!?

Well, My first advice to you would be to never purchase from one of the Chinese tablet makers. They are cheaply made and are never what is advertised. But if you really need help, I would need to know what version of android you are running and the name of the device. Please reply to this post as fast as you can for the quickest help I can give you.

May I ask how much you paid for it? And do you know how to root the tablet? Or do I need to teach you how to do that? Because I found a link to a flashable .zip of the google playstore for ICS. just tell me what you need.

I've never rooted anything before, but I am prettu good with computers. I thus, will need help to root it. I paid $62 !! Thats why I bought it, seemed like an amazing deal! And it is a 'good' tablet, nothing better than that.

Hmm, if I were you, I would have just went with the new Nexus 7. It's only $200 and is an amazing tablet. But let me see, I'm not finding much of anything on your tablet :/ could you link me to the original page where you bought the item? Thanks.

Ok, xda will not let me post a lke, so I will post half a lik, and probly get this post deleted like last time chinavasion.com/t4s0/ I was thinking about it, but I have a 10.1" tablet and I wanted one more like a phone so I don't have to carry this monster around with me. The Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 was my first pick, but its $200 as well... so I thought I'd take a chance on it. And with your help, it just might work out half as good as I hoped so, Thank you very much again!! PS Touch updates only through Samsung?

there's an update to ps touch today but it seems i can't find anywhere to install it. do we need to wait for Samsung to update it? I iI really hope that's not the answer.
The update adds 12mp support which wouldn't be great for otg pic editing.

If you own it through Samsung then updates come from them. I already owned it so I need to find my update.

So do they going to push it out like an ota or you have to download it from their crummy app store?

Fairly sure you have to get it from their app store.

i checked their app store last night and didn't find an update. this really sucks, but OTOH i didn't have to pay for it in the first place.

Any third-party app that's been multi-view enabled is going to have to be updated via Samsung because of the modifications from stock.

but it's not multi view.

Doesn't matter. It's from Samsung. Proof is that my Market version showed uninstalled until I installed it last night. Now I have two versions on my Note.

well i guess if i want it and have it always up to date i'll have to buy it since samsung is pretty bad about keeping things up-to-date. good thing i don't really want ps touch, but it's just nice to have.

I've been asking Samsung support about this for two days now. I've heard the standard, we'll get back to you on this.

I did try downloading the Synergy Rom but I didn't see an apk in /system/app or /data/app that looked promising to be the one to get me what I needed.

I also want to know how to get these games, I tried the samsung app store, but it wanted to modify pretty much every aspect of my phone and wanted to install adservice on it

I'm pretty sure it's only for non-US phones as well. I installed their app store but I can't even find these games on their store. If I'm not logged in to their website, I can follow the links to the apps (it's not in English) and then it makes you log in and then you get page errors. So yea, another Samsung perk that's not available in the US. Boo for that.

does it check IP? maybe you could set a proxy address on your phone ?

Does the Verizon S3 even have the Sasmung app store? I don't see it on my device unless I am just over looking it?

Modern combat 3 is only. 99 in the play store or at least it was yesterday when I bought it. Nova 3 was also only.99
