Hey xda, I was wondering if anyone was looking into making an android app for kijiji. I'm personally not a fan of the mobile site. So much more could be done from within an app. Thanks everyone!

There are a couple apps for kijiji Canada in the marketplace but the free app sticks on California for me and won't change. The other is a pay app and has mediocre ratings.
There was a free app for kijiji that was pulled from the market recently. If anyone has the APK, I wild appreciate it f you could post it. It was com.unofficial.kijijica
Thanks.

kijiji app
I realize this reply is kind of late but I contacted kijiji recently and they have assured me that an official android kijiji app will be completed soon.
Cant wait myself. Thats about the only thing i still use my computer for.
I just tried installing the Kijiji app off of the Google Play store, but unfortunately it is incompatible with my new Nexus 7 (non-rooted).
I've tried looking for an APK for the app, but to no avail.
Will rooting allow me to install this app off the google play store?

I've rooted mine, but still could not get Kijiji on there. Looking for the APK file. If you find one, let me know!

The new market is showing Apps as "installed" that were downloaded via amazon, you can also update!
Edit: only free apps* paid Apps you are asked to purchase, but are still shown as installed

Wow, if that's true, that's a great feature... although I hardly ever have updates for my Amazon apps.

I agree, a simple fact like this could have been started in the first thread and it wouldn't if been over shadowed.
I purchased "apparatus" in the Amazon app store and it is no longer available. Android market is telling me an update is available, and then I'm asked to purchase the app.... Contact the dev?

I believe that if it is a purchased app from amazon (even one of the free apps of the day) you can only update it in the amazon market, not the android market.

Why would an app cost $$$ on the Amazon AppStore but be free in the Android Market..? Sounds like you are installing "lite" or ad versions.
Amazon App Store Free Today 11/21/11
Cranky...
Does anyone still use the Amazon app store? The apps never get updated.

Amazon app store never gets updated?
They just gave it an all new UI. For the release of the kindle fire.
I got quick office pro for free that day too.
Edit: nevermind, you mean the apps themselves, my apps downloaded in the Amazon appstore update in the regular market.

FINALLY! Yes I always use Kijiji and I hate having to login on the computer.
kijiji is great for getting local classifieds..Fantastic..Used it on Iphone..Though havn't checked it on any android device.
Hey folks,
I just purchased my Nexus 7 a few days ago, and have tried downloading the Kijiji App. Unfortunately, it's incompatible. I've got a stock Nexus 7 that has not been rooted, nor do I think I will anytime soon. Ive looked into Rooting the device, but I'm not sure whether that'll help me install the app. I have also looked for the APK, but no to avail.
Is rooting and messing around with screen DPI and whatnot my only option?
Thanks for your time.
Really? Why not just use craigslist? What makes Kijiji better?

Kijiji is way more popular and widely used then craigslist. Especially here in ontario, canada. They have a mobile website but it does not work very well at all.

Could you send me a link to it as well perhaps? I'll then upload it to torrent sites if you'd like so it's shared with the world Thanks sooooo much in advance
I'm trying to find someone that has a Kindle Fire that can download an apk from the Amazon Market for me and post the apk.
If you'd be willing to help, I'm trying to get the new Citibank® (Kindle Fire Edition) app apk.
I don't have a Kindle Fire and it won't show up on my tablet. I'm hoping the app actually will work on other tablets.
So, if anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it!
Worked perfectly. First I had to "own" it on Amazon appstore, of course, since it's "incompatible" with all my devices, it wouldn't let me download it. Once I "owned" and sideloaded it, it works decently enough.
Thanks again!!!!!! I owe you!
How do you "own" an app you didn't download directly from Amazon?
I live outside of the US and can't download from the Amazon appstore . I tried sideloading some free apps and got the message that I didn't own them.
Thanks,
Yossi

Maybe different for me, but I live in the US and was able to log into the amazon store and "purchase" it. It was a free app, and when I did that and sideloaded the actual app from Amazon app store that Joseph was able to DL for me, it treated it as registered and I could log in and do my banking.
My only issue, tho I could "purchase" the free app, it said I had no compatible devices (aka looking for Kindle fire only) so it wouldn't actually download to my tablet.
Might be worth a try to "purchase" the app from your pc first.
Can you repost the APK
I'd love to get the app on my GTab2
Would like this APK
I would like this APK as well. If someone can repost it, it would be greatly appreciated.

How did you find it on the Amazon store. No matter what I search it will not show. Even going to Citibank's website and clicking on the link gives me a page not found error...did they take it off?

Resurrecting an ancient thread: does this app still exist somewhere?
So samsung is doing a promo for a few free games.
LINK
I was wondering how to get these onto my S3. Also, would these work for the d2vzw even though it has the international listed? I'm currently running AOKP and don't have whatever app Samsung uses to do there apps. Any help would be awesome
Telling me I'm an idiot works as well:cyclops:
I did try downloading the Synergy Rom but I didn't see an apk in /system/app or /data/app that looked promising to be the one to get me what I needed.
I also want to know how to get these games, I tried the samsung app store, but it wanted to modify pretty much every aspect of my phone and wanted to install adservice on it
That's dumb. Might flash to stock dl the pull the apk and flash back lol

I thought this only worked with the International phones

I'm pretty sure it's only for non-US phones as well. I installed their app store but I can't even find these games on their store. If I'm not logged in to their website, I can follow the links to the apps (it's not in English) and then it makes you log in and then you get page errors. So yea, another Samsung perk that's not available in the US. Boo for that.

does it check IP? maybe you could set a proxy address on your phone ?
Does the Verizon S3 even have the Sasmung app store? I don't see it on my device unless I am just over looking it?
