Windows software does not run on android....
The Chinese (or Taiwanese to be exact) version of RaidCall (RC語音) has already got the android version up and testing (not on Play Store), not sure if it will be available in the international version.
Here's the announcemt of the chinese version:
forum[dot]raidcall[dot]com[dot]tw/viewthread.[dot]php?tid=29240&extra=page%3D1
Note that you'll need another account for the Chinese (Taiwanese) version.
Your posts show the desperation that I have in my post on a post for fixing my tablets power button. I feel lost and in the dark with no rescue team coming. Blah.

I would pay so much just to get the Android app of Raidcall if there was one ._.
(or maybe learn to develop myself and attempt to make the app for it lmao)

Who may you be calling an idiot if I may ask?
If it was from my small post, I don't see why you would need to go out there calling people idiots for wishing and wanting something like a specific program/app that doesn't exist yet at the moment on a smartphone.
A user may want/hope to see some sort of app of raid call so people (like the OP, me, and other users looking at this thread) can use it on their phone to go or when not nearby or want to use a computer so how's whomever you're calling an idiot justify?
Or rather should I ask, do you feel superior trying to bring people down for your ego or boredom?
If so, this is not one of the places you should be posting at which then I can suggest you go visit a different website for your needs of typing pointless offensive posts.
This is a website of tinkering/in depth info on a specific phone/mobile programming threads&posts, not a website for unnecessary/immature criticism of someone's opinion.

I could have sworn that someone asked awhile back about this Chainfire app ... must have been before the forums got split up by carrier.
Anyone try this yet? I'm curious - as we're unlocked now - whether we can carry ODIN with us like the rest of the SIII population.
Here's a link to the xDa thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
edit: Mobile ODIN Pro 3.1 is up in the Play Store !!!

Don't think u can use it until the creator of the app says it's compatible with our system.

It might just not be compatable because the developer still assumes we have a locked BL. Now thats its unlocked like the rest of the varients it might just work.

I know Chainfire just got back from an extended vacation ... he's probably very busy.
I'm tempted to give it a try, though $4.99 is a bit steep for a program that may not work with our phones.
I'll put a link to the xDa thread on Mobile ODIN in my OP.

looks like the testing went well, from what i read in the thread... hopefully this will be posted today...
I spent the better part of yesterday testing 3.1 for Chainfire ... it is sweet.
Mobile ODIN Pro will actually take bone stock firmware (like an OTA), root it and inject SuperSU before flashing it to your phone.
Look for a release anytime now ...

question about mobile odin pro
since there is an everRoot option with this apk.....does that mean that once i choose this option i can root without having to worry about losing root after doing manual/automatic ota updates from the carrier? ....appreciate any feedback plz....thx
Ive been looking in the forum but eveything is pretty scattered about. I cannot seem to find out which version of ics if the one you can go back to GB with. Hell not even the threat thats for first timers has that info. So what version numbers is it?

This is ONLY for ATT users. If you are an international user or an Asian user, or an ME865 user than the above link is not for you.
@Waiting4MyAndriod you must be careful when giving advice like that, note the person who replied above you asked which phone the requestor had before giving info..... It is just too easy to give advice and have someone brick.
To the OP when you ask questions please give as much info as possible next time.
This is a decent tablet and could be much better!! Can someone please be all the i497 owners hero and give us a rom!! If I can help or test or anything I'm willing! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I497 using xda premium
I dont think there is a "issue" just no serious developers have obtained this tablet. I think in the tablet game most developers don't go for carrier ones.. I'm still setting up my PC but I'm going to try and get at least a stock deodexed ROM going tonight or tomorrow. What's the latest firmware for the i497.. I see a firmware for an Am2 having a hard time finding a place to download the latest firmware from?

Hi guys,
Google Play says [root] Mobile ODIN Pro is supported by GS2+. A quick look in the support matrix shows, that only GT-I9100 is supported.
My first question is: "Is [root] Mobile ODIN Pro supported on GS2+?"
I've bought & installed the app; It has dumped my Droid, creating a boot dump file. It is required from the developers in order to add a missing device to the support matrix. Unfortunately I do not have the permissions as Junior Member to post on such level topics => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
That is why here goes question #2: "Can someone upload it instead of me ( I will send her/him the details), so that we get the [root] Mobile ODIN Pro supported!
Thanks in advance, folks!:highfive:
Its not supported but i replied to the thread a few minutes ago
Danke Big T0mato! I will keep an eye on the topic and will let you know if it is supported.

@BigT0mato: It's been more than 6 months. Do you guys know, if Chainfire has included support for GT-I9105P? I am looking at the newest release (Jan. 2014) and don't see S2+ in the support matrix...:crying::crying:

Well, I find it a bit not fair, cause Google Play keeps saying that the app is compatible with my device (S2+), while it actually is not. So as far as I can see I've wasted another 5 euros for the app..
Hello Experts,
I am trying to learn the terminology used by you experts in the forum. So bare with me If I ask something silly.
Here is my doubt:
Initially my phone was showing model version as MB865 but after I flashed JB leak 3 (switched from my original ICS), the phone started showing the model version as ME865.
When I browse the forums, the discussions are based basically on these two versions.
So my question now is, which model I should consider my phone has at present, MB865 or ME865?
And what is important which I need to keep in mind when searching for ROM's?
Thanks.
No, the displayed MB/ME really doesn't matter. It is the exact version of your phone that matters. The stated MB865 usually refers to ATT versions. ME865 usually refers to the other versions. Just knowing your phone version will be ok.(well i might be wrong too)
