New Category for HTC ONE XL? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi at all,
I have a question about my German HTC ONE XL from O2:
Is it the same like the AT&T?
Mine have SW-Version 1.92.207.3
It's hard to find somthing about this version in XDA-Developers. Also there's no way to root it.
I think that the HTC ONE XL needs a own category and should be found in the device search and list.
So please add it, because nobody is posting somthing about the HTC ONE XL v1.92.

afaik, the european xl's with lte are the same hardware wise as the att one xl. however i am not 100% sure so it would be great if someone else could confirm.

Just looked on O2 Germany's site. The only thing that bothers me is that the HOX listed there has 32GB of internal storage, which means it is different in a way. We do share the same processors though, as stated on GSM Arena
AT&T:http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_x_at&t-4614.php
XL: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_xl-4572.php

Storage shouldn't matter.

The X from AT&T has the same hardware as XL in Hongkong. Just AT&T one may have more junks come along.

Yeah I know...I realize I phrased my post weirdly. I just meant that the only thing that stuck out between the AT&T HOX and the O2 HOX was the difference in storage.

Ok that means it's they are the Same. Anyone Else who roots an 1.92?

Have you tried unlocking the bootloader through HTC dev? If it does unlock then you can install a recovery, TWRP, and just flash the su binary to get root.

No i'll wait for s-off. I have a Desire z and a xoom for trying out ics costum Roms.
The HOXL is too expensive for testing, in cause of the built in battery, if the battery bricks One Time there is no warranty.

The One XL is identical to the One X, apart from radio frequency and storage.
The Aussie One XL is also 32GB.
All the ROMs etc for the One X also work on the One XL, so there's no need for a separate section

The forum name should be changed to simply:
HTC One XL + AT&T, Rogers One X LTE

Uh, the one XL is the US version on at&t.

UUHHH....I was referring to the ATT One X. It's the same phone. Not the international One X, that has it's own forum, so why would I make any reference to that one?

[Script] [tweak] Battery tweak for HTC One X

I found this battery tweak ( thanks to knzo) made a flashable zip and tested on my ATT HTC One X which is currently using CleanRom 4.5.
I have been using this and my battery last longer.
You can use this on any ROM with init.d.
Check it out!
Remember if you want to try it, back up first.

It looks better than my battery but to be fair my usage is very heavy. Chrome/gaming. OP doesn't seem to be using anything that drains the battery so 3H does seem a little less but it's no way a bad battery.

Has anyone purchased the white HTC One S with 64GB of storage? It's supposed to have Android 4.1 with Sense 4+ which would probably work with the current One S since all other internal components are identical.

Afraid to flash roms or mods

I don't want to flash the HTC one x with a different Rom. I know how with the HTC vivid (which I'm looking to see if maybe we can get some more development on it..) but I see there's processes with updating hboot and I'm just not sure what to even do please help xda-dev community?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda-developers app
Take it slow =p what hboot do you have?
have you unlocked the bootloader?
installed a custom recovery? (TWRP is recommended)
also, are you sure you have the One XL (or AT&T One X), the dual S4 version, not the quad core tegra version or the One X+. If you aren't sure, you should boot to the bootloader and make sure it says "evita" on the first line of green text.
It's an at&t dual core (rogers)

You're saying you don't want to update the hboot. How about a little more information on your phone. Are you completely bone stock? Unlocked and rooted?
Also, what are you looking to achieve if you don't wish to root?

SkizzMcNizz flashed it back to stock when he sold it to you?
So you want to downgrade the hboot from 1.14 to 1.09 but you don't want any type of custom roms?
People will gladly help you but this phone is very confusing so you have to be specific with exactly what you have and exactly what you want to accomplish to try and avoid a pretty paper weight for your desk.

It's not going to maybe damage the device if you flash an international ROM, you will permanently brick your phone.
And no need to wait for ports (although I would wait), we already have J-Bebs ROMs.

I admit, I did check out their website before I flashed it, lol. It's very smooth and no issues from what I can tell. It is missing a few options that I use on RootBox though so it probably won't be a daily driver for me but definitely a solid ROM.

True or copy the entire set from /system to internal SD...but yeah pain in the butt.
SlimRoms teams has it together though...its an issue in the stock Aosp media provider that a lot of ROMs use. Slim has modified some things and maintain their own. Using that instead seems to resolve a lot of these issues with pictures and ringtones disappearing. Will work fine on the next build hopefully
