[Q] Custom lock rings for Sense 3.0?

Has anyone made or attempted to make custom lock rings on the Inspire for Sense 3.0? I saw some for the Desire HD but they only work with the Sense 3 add on. I flashed to see if it would work but it only changes when you drag an app from the lock screen into it. I also found some for the Thunderbolt but got the same result. I looked into making my own but it mentions something about using m10 tools and I'm fairly new to android so I wouldn't know where to start. Just thought this would be another way to further customize our Inspires. Here's an example of some that were made for the TB.

I used one those lock screens and I'm not sure what happened exactly but it messed up something with my contacts and forced me to clear everything and reflash my rom. That's not very awesome

i downloaded directly to my phone, went to rom manager and chose install rom from SD card. chose to save rom before flashing and delete dalvik cache. thats my exact process.

Which rom are you using? I just tried your process and got the same result as I did when I booted into recovery and installed the zip. The ring is stock and it only changes when you drag an app into it.

Dang so am I! I wonder what's goin on that it wont install correctly.

I'm using rcmix 3d 1.9 and I've tried it from 3 different threads every way I could think of with no success.

hmmm... the only thing i can think of is i have an add on for the ROM. its the 5 bar signal meter and 4g icon in place of H+. other than that i have no idea.

A lot of these say that it needs to be stock sense. I'm pretty sure that mine is, but I'm having no luck. This stinks. If anyone had any bright ideas I would appreciate it.

Im on VU 1.26 but I don't think that would make too much of a difference. Did you just put the zip on the root of your memory card and flash in recovery?

Anyone having any luck with these yet? I can't post to the threads that they are in so I need to keep checking here with all of you. Thanks. Again I'm running rcmix 3d 1.9

Hi,
I got HTC Sensation 1 month ago, and I have a problem.
When I listen to music, play games and watch videos always sound / music pieces and when I have headphones or without them (the speaker). Please help me. Is it maybe a problem in the software or the phone?

Hi,
Unlocking your Sensation does affect the warranty,but it depends on which method you use.
If you use the HTC method,I'm not sure how you would return it to out-of-the-box state.
If you use REVOLUTIONARY method to s-off,then there is the option to s-on and return it to out-of-the-box state.
You have to decide which way you want to go.
ARHD is a more complete ROM.
CM7 , I believe,is still experimental.

Hi,
I went on that web page and I got the same lines.
I would suggest that there is an issue with that particular web page,because I do not get those lines anywhere else.

Well if I flash custom ROM, and then I mess up my phone.Will I get my warranty back if I do unroot,s-on and flash original rom ?
Will they in repair center find out that I did root my phone?

If you unroot,s-on, and flash an original ROM, they cannot tell if you were s-off.

Just got it and you don't have to be on a 4.0 rom. It's modified to work on all bases. I'm running ARHD 6.

This did not work for me.
Sadly, I tried step by step according to the guide but fail to receive any confirmation E-mail from Dropbox.

New Category for HTC ONE XL?

Hi at all,
I have a question about my German HTC ONE XL from O2:
Is it the same like the AT&T?
Mine have SW-Version 1.92.207.3
It's hard to find somthing about this version in XDA-Developers. Also there's no way to root it.
I think that the HTC ONE XL needs a own category and should be found in the device search and list.
So please add it, because nobody is posting somthing about the HTC ONE XL v1.92.

afaik, the european xl's with lte are the same hardware wise as the att one xl. however i am not 100% sure so it would be great if someone else could confirm.

Just looked on O2 Germany's site. The only thing that bothers me is that the HOX listed there has 32GB of internal storage, which means it is different in a way. We do share the same processors though, as stated on GSM Arena

Yeah I know...I realize I phrased my post weirdly. I just meant that the only thing that stuck out between the AT&T HOX and the O2 HOX was the difference in storage.

Have you tried unlocking the bootloader through HTC dev? If it does unlock then you can install a recovery, TWRP, and just flash the su binary to get root.

No i'll wait for s-off. I have a Desire z and a xoom for trying out ics costum Roms.
The HOXL is too expensive for testing, in cause of the built in battery, if the battery bricks One Time there is no warranty.

All the ROMs etc for the One X also work on the One XL, so there's no need for a separate section

I found this battery tweak ( thanks to knzo) made a flashable zip and tested on my ATT HTC One X which is currently using CleanRom 4.5.
I have been using this and my battery last longer.
You can use this on any ROM with init.d.
Check it out!
Remember if you want to try it, back up first.

I've renamed the file as 77tweaks.

To be perfectly honest... Those battery results don't look very impressive. I think stock might actually net you better results.

With stock the battery last 9 hours with regular use, with this script I get better results.

It looks better than my battery but to be fair my usage is very heavy. Chrome/gaming. OP doesn't seem to be using anything that drains the battery so 3H does seem a little less but it's no way a bad battery.
