I pre-ordered from J&R on the 4th of July.
I called this morning. They got a shipment in yesterday and will be shipping mine today.... yeah !! :laugh:
Those of you looking to get from BHPhoto.... I wondered if tablets are included in the return policy for computers. In which case possible re-stocking fee. Will need to find out from CSR.
J&R official policy says no such thing. Also, CSRs at J&R have been nothing but helpful and polite so far. I am posting here and on the mother thread that started this one. So, you can imagine how antsy I was and how many times I called (3 times since monday....).

A couple of things...
No pictures is not good. I refuse to buy something I can't see.
I just ordered a brand new one for $350. Without seeing or knowing the condition of yours it would be hard for me to pull the trigger and choose yours over a new one where at least I understand where to return if needed.

They shouldn't be able to charge you for return shipping if you refuse delivery. If it's already arrived and you signed for/opened it you're probably too late though.
Just bought one. This will be my 2nd Gtablet which I'll use to flash ROMs. Better than SEARS outlet.
So do I buy one of these? I was holding out for an Android tablet that would run honeycomb and didn't come with a carrier contract.
The price seems so tempting.

I would say that if your order is in processing, you shouldn't vote yet until there is status update. So, one of my orders with newegg is sitting on "charged" so, I am going to see what happens with that before voting.
Also - you don't denote whether you ordered the 32 GB or not. I ordered the 32 GB and thus knew I wouldn't be getting it shipped right away.

For the US, Canada and the UK the Nowinstock.net web-site was invaluable for tracking availability on the original transformer and then the Prime. There isn't a lot detail on there for the Infinity at the moment but I would expect that to change in due course and as we approach the actual launch date.

Ouch! I agree with you. It's still 2+ weeks before the supposed release date and I strongly believe we'll see a host of retailers "suddenly" list the TF700t -- I recently purchased the ASUS UX31a ultrabook after waiting for months (has same HD screen) and same experience with no word, no word -- then in a period of ~24 hours it seemed "everyone" was selling them!
I bit the bullet and preordered mine from J&R too. The $5 off, free shipping and 5% back with Discover helped to seal the deal. I chose 1-day shipping to get it faster. If I find it cheaper elsewhere or change my mind, I can always cancel.

I was hoping you were right about it sprouting up everywhere, but still nowhere else as of yet. I have been refreshing amazon, bestbuy, futureshop, ncix, expansys etc... constantly for a week now! I guess it'll show up somewhere else eventually.

I placed by order with Amazon on 7/18 and they have absolutely no status update. Ordering from Walmart is very tempting but I can't justify to myself spending $75.00 more between CA Sales Tax (this is probably the last large non-sales purchase I will make on Amazon as they start charging CA Sales Tax on 9/15 per agreement with the state) and "Rush" shipping.
Hopefully this is an indication that the Asus TF700T-C1-CG is shipping from ASUS and will be available on Amazon very soon.

I know what you mean. I just got fed up with waiting, made a personal decision, and decided to pay sales tax. Though it was not nearly as much as you have to pay in Cali. I went for expedited shipping but they do have free shipping to your local store, or slower shipping to your home for 97 cents.
Anyway, I hope Amazon and other retailers get them soon too. I assume they will in the next few days or weeks.

I bought mine from Best Buy at that price. You may find an slightly lower price on eBay buy don't hold your breath.

+1, on Best Buy we have 3 TF300t tablets 2 blue 32 GB and one red 16 GB all purchased from Best Buy.
That said one 32 GB had to be exchanged immediately for a broken power switch, and the first 16 GB was returned for
a significant touch panel problem that was causing major but intermittent input problems and went back after about 3 days.
The tablets that survived the infant mortality period have been rock solid. Having Best Buy to deal with on an exchange is worth
the couple dollars difference in price and paying local sales tax. I don't think this is the typical falure rate for TF300t's but if you have a reasonably close BB that would get my vote.
Bestbuy Canada has both the blue and white models on for $349.98 right now. Kit version which includes the dock are still at $519.99 for both white and blue.

I can confirm this works, also. I was able to order the 16gb Memory - Blue - TF300T-A1-BL today at Best Buy for $249.99. All you have to do is go to the counter and give the associate the item number - 5089952. Tell them you want it shipped to the store for pickup. It's like getting a 10.1 inch NEXUS 7 (with SD card slot) for $50.00 more!
