[Q] Droid 2 As Communication Port/Data Pro

Verizon has software called Data Pro that allows you to take constant RSSI readings from the phone and map them in the software to have a visual indication of areas with/without good coverage. I know that this software will work with the original Droid, but I am having problems getting it to work with the Droid 2. Essentially the software needs to recognize the phone on a communication port when connected to my XP laptop, but I can not get the Droid 2 to show up under any of my comm ports. Anyone with experience with Data Pro know if the Droid 2 will work? Or does anyone know how to get the Droid 2 to show up under my comm ports when connected? Thanks!

[Q] Bluetooth Compatibility

Since my Bionic ICS upgrade, I am no longer able to connect to my Panasonic Link to Cell Home System (KX-TH 1212B). I have tried all the known fixes (Re-Pair, De-Regrister,Re-Regrister, Pull the Battery on the Bionic) with no luck. Doe's anyone know the difference between Bluetooth on Gingerbread and the New ICS?
Thanks

[Q] Looking for help with BT, using Sixaxis on CM

Hi guys
At the moment I have 3 Motorola devices, all running CM10.1: A Wingray Xoom, RAZR XT910, and RAZR HD XT925. I have official CM from get.cm on the first two, the 3rd one is an unofficial build.
I've been looking to run old-school emulators and use an spare dualshock. With this configuration I can run my device as a portable Ouya-like emulation system. I downloaded the Sixaxis app. So far, I am having mixed results:
In all three devices, the device is confirmed to be working in theory, according to the compatibility test However, there is a problem with the BT connection
Xoom CM10.1 official does not connect.
XT910 CM10.1 official does not connect, however, rooted stock ROM works perfectly <<this one is annoying
XT925 CM10.1 unofficial works perfectly
I think this is a coding thing that is in the official CM.
In the instances that it works, the BT symbol lights up in the system bar. When it doesn't, nothing.
I suspect it has something to do with the Blutooth protocols.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this working?
UPDATE: on my XT910, I tried both Carbon ROM and AOKP, both have the same problem. This is perplexing.

Samsung Smart Dock

I was using Samsung Smart Dock at my work place.
Samsung Galaxy S4 International version[from India] with 4.2.2 JB till recently. and the dock was working fine. i used wireless Keyboard and Mouse of Logitech with the dock.
A week back i updated the OS via PC Kies to 4.3 JB stock firmware.
After which the Keyboard via the dock stopped working. no input from the external keyboard is taking up in phone, however the mouse is working.
Note: definitely not an issue with keyboard/mouse or the dock. i suspect the Phone OS only. as the Keyboard area has also underwent some changes in OS 4.3.
have any clues about this???

SOLVED!!!
It was because of the OTA updates from I9500XXUEMJ5 ... I9500XXUEMJ9 of 4.3 Jelly bean
But once i Downloaded the I9500XXUEMJ9 directly and completely flashed the phone with it + a wipe cache, solved many a issues.
1. Bluetooth controls where not working earlier, now working properly[even earlier the song wasn't even heard], not its fine
2. Samsung Dock is back in my desk, the keyboard is now working properly.
only suffer i HAD is to again install from A to Z !!!!!! but worth it, as i am happy now with the results.
