[Q] Screen font choice - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Some of you have probably started messing around with different fonts and I was just seeking to see what fonts work best on the display. Does any one have a specific font that they life for whatever reason?
Let me know I'm looking around to changing the default font.

I've been debating Helvetica, Droid Sans and Roboto...
Any other font that would be worth it?

I like AlteHaasGrotesk available on Font Installer.

Feel like somebody will say stomp the noob, but I seen no way to change fonts on my stock Rogers HTC One X.
So how and where are they changed?

AFAIK, root only.

I'll have to check FONT Installer....
- I'm looking for something that's slick looking which will set me apart from other Android users

Is the one I use. There are other options.

So far I've got Galett installed

[Q] Is there anyway I can apply a custom theme without rooting?

I want to use a different theme but I got my nexus s off Craigslist with no warranty so I'm scared to mess it up so I want to go around rooting.

Depends on how much you want to actually change,
Check out LauncherPro and ADW for starters, and you can always change your wallpaper. Beautiful Widgets is another app that can help. Anything beyond the home screen like fonts, and notification icons, I believe you have to root.
Gluck.

Yes you csan apply themes without rooting, but the themes will need to be built for a particular launcher.
Do a search in the android market for Home Replacements. Wait...Here...I've done it for you.
https://market.android.com/search?q=home+replacement
I use Launcher Pro Plus, but there are many out there. Some good some bad, but you should experiment with them.
Good Luck
You can skin, but you can't theme.

Font APP?

this is not what i'm looking for. its close, but when you install the new fonts, it replaces ones already in the system. i want one that just installs new fonts and doesn't replace existing ones.

[Q] Adjust Font Size on Nexus 4G

I've searched threads, and across Google and most all point to the same result. I'm trying to shrink the font size on Gingerbread. I switched back from ICS due to the battery issues I was having and ICS let me adjust font size without problems.
Modifying the density with the root programs made my market screw up and throw me the error " This app is incompatible with your device". Changing density back fixed the issue. Is there another setting I can add to build.prop that can adjust font size? Has anyone had any luck changing font size without changing screen density?
Spare parts will let you change font size.

Thanks, The pro version or regular? Regular only seems to work on the spare parts screen and nothing else. I remember that app working for me when I had my epic, strange.
Not sure really. I only have used the one included with roms which I'd assume is not the pro version. Did you reboot after changing it? I haven't changed it in a while because I found the default font size was good enough for me. If that isn't working I'm not sure if there's any other app. Perhaps you could use rom toolbox to change fonts and get something closer to what you desire.

White 'Skin' (As in the theme) for Htc One X

Is it possible to make a skin for the one x with converted colors (from the colored/black ones to white, as main color)?
What I mean by this is ,instead of having black backgrounds, headers, etc ,
It'll be white instead, and the text will be black, or light blue/green.
Like when you go 'Settings', where everything is white but the text and headers.
I know we can change the Images of these to white, but can the text be converted to black ?
I think it would really match the 'white' ver. of the phone and would look really sleek, clean and simple
Is this possible?
I've seen it done before, excluding the text colour.

Are you talking about in Sense or in an AOSP environment? Either way it is possible but it takes a lot of work (especially in Sense) to change all of the necessary files...

Im not even sure what you mean by AOSP environment...but yeah , a sense 4 skin .
Ive recently stumbled upon Virtous Team's sense 4 hd themes for htc one x models, and they are great!
I hope they will work on a white schemed one.

AOSP stands for Android Open Source Project, and for our phone that means ROMs like CM10 and AOKP. It's a totally different version of Android so that's why I asked for clarification.

There are lots of sense 4 skins in the play store...I myself haven't seen a white background one yet. Maybe you could contact one of those devs and inquire about it.

Don't expect a free one, you have to pay for the m10 tools so it seems themes are charging for sense themes

[REQ] Is there a way to fix the mishandling of fonts by Jellybean?

Ever since the S3 left ICS, if you enable an alternate font that didn't come preinstalled on the phone, the phone cannot show it in bold. This means you cannot see what threads have been read in forums(or read them very easily) because new/unread threads show up in bold. It also effects various other areas where bold font is needed. I've been hoping the updates would fix it, but no. Can anyone figure out what changed with regards to handling fonts between ICS and Jellybean and cone up with a fix?

I'm not sure what you mean, here's a screenshot with "Hattori Hanzo" - some flipfont I downloaded from a random .zip full of flip fonts. The bold isn't very intense, but it's clear which threads I've checked.
Here's what I mean, one screen shot has default font and other has a flip font I used on ICS:

does the font package you are using have a bold version of it?
i know some ive used have to have a separate .ttf file for bold and italics
