Root your phone use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056 downlaod bagaria.tar then download now ICS alpha copy it in your sd card. After that Go to recovery mode, install zip then browse ICS rom.

to get into the recovery mood do i have to like install something? my phone is completely stock. i tried restarting it with the volume key up and power button but nothing happened.

You need to use shortcut to go to download mode(Volume down + OK + Power) not recovery mode, as you're still on stock.
Then flash using ODIN.

IN the link i have given i think there is a turorial on how to flash bagaria.tar if none then go to download mode down volume power and menu HOLD THEM. Once in there, plug it in pc open Odin, Must see color yellow and word "added" in logview. Then clik PDA search bagaria.tar Once done you can now go to recovery mode w/ install zip.,.

[Q] Bricked phone

Hi, I was on CM9 ALPHA8 and I flashed with odin 1.85 and 3.04 the latest I9003XWLF2_I9003XXLE4_I9003ITVLF2_ stock rom used as PDA, but each time I pressed Start it was stuck in setup connection..., then I plugged battery off and now my phone doesn't boot up, and I can't go in recovery/download mode, anyone help ? I tried the trick pressing the hard-reset button behind the phone with a pin but no success, even tried by removing battery, pressing the buttons for download mode and put battery back in, all it did was windows looking for the omap3630 drivers .
Each time I remove battery and put battery back in (with usb plugged) I heard the windows sound.
Thanks for your help...

You must do following things
1. install latest kies & restart pc.
2. Use v1.83 odin version.
3. Check whether firmware file u have downloaded is correct or currupted. Its better to download it again.
4. check whether u are applying 3 combination button in correct manner or not to boot in download mode. Most of the time people do mistake in this step.

Only Boots to CWM 5.5.0.4

I am new to the ROM scene. I recently tried to install the MIUI ROM, but the text messaging didn't work. So I tried to install another ROM (Dark Knight). Now my phone only boots to recovery mode. I have searched the internet for a solution, but cannot find one. Any help would be appreciated.

That's a recovery bootloop caused by switching from MIUI to ICS, similar to switching from GB to ICS ..
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29028593&postcount=1
Here is the Infuse toolkit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1702026
Good luck, let me know if that worked for you

Return back to stock using this: Heimdall One-click Back-To-Stock UCLB3
then flash one of entropys daily drivers using the same method but with this: Entropy heimdal kernels/recovery (this will give you red cwm allowing you to flash roms...if you flash ics from this recovery you will need to do a double flash-flash like normal, then reboot back to recovery and flash again
both links are taking from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1524081
How to get in download mode (needed to run the programs i linked):
1) remove battery
2) put battery back in
3) hold volume up+down simultaneously -but do not touch the power button...don't touch the power button, just don't do it lol
4) while holding both volume keys connect your phone to the computer using a usb data cable (like the one that came with the phone)
-you should now be in download mode or at a screen giving you the option to boot to download mode or reboot system

URGENT HELP!! cant get into recovery...odin mode ok but all flashes fail

I need some help with my galaxy tab 2 (p3113)!!
The tablet does not boot at all....it powers on and will only go to the odin download (while holding power and volume down).
It will not go to recovery AT ALL when I try holding power and volume up...just a black screen...no android icon or anything....tablet will ONLY go to odin download screen and nothing else.
I tried flashing stock rom with odin version 1.3 and 1.8 and 3....every single attempt at flashing stock rom fails...odin recognizes tablet plugged in (yellow box shows tablet plugged in) but flashing stock rom fails every time....tried flashing stock ICS and stock JB....nothing...cant get any recovery mode with power button and volume button pressed...
Any ideas???? Kies does not recognize tablet and neither does adb...reinstalled kies and drivers several times...no help
Now what????

What pit files do I need and where do I get them? This will erase and partition the internal storage, right? Would that allow me to load a recovery afterwards?

Does the CWM Recovery use any space on the device or card after?
Hi There,
It goes all well for these steps..
How to root ?
-Open Odin 3.07.exe
-Put your phone into Download Mod
(Power button-Home button-Volume down button,at same time)
-When you enter in Download Mod, you should get blue box on Odin 3.07
-Uncheck Auto Reboot option
-Go to PDA and find your recovery, then click on OK
-After you checked everything click on Start
-It should take around up to 30-40 seconds
- When its finished take out battery, put it again
but after putting battery back in.. i cant seem to get in CWM it just get stuck on Samsung Galaxy Screen where it shows model of the phone which is GT-I9105P. And after waiting for 5 min it automatically reboots and phone starts normal. And if i try to goto CWM it takes me to stock CWM.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729617. follow the step 1 -5 really you need to download odin from the link and the stock ND2 file is on the bottom of the post. then you would Flash the stock Nd2 tar (put it in "AP/PDA" in Odin). Make sure you have all the Samsung drivers install on your computer. to get in download mod you would hole the power button, home button and the volume down button to enter download mode. A warning should popup and you would push volume up the continue to download mode. Hope this helps.
