[Q] What is Blur-servies?

Why do the international Xooms have blur Services while the US one doesn't? Does anybody know what it does?
I was able to remove it from my Canadian Xoom and once I rebooted I haven't noticed any difference.

I've heard floating around that it's for getting OTA updates pushed, and nothing else.

I just put my Nexus S 4G on Boost and I was wondering if anyone else had their Nexus on Boost? So far its been great...same as Sprint..and I know its the same network. I also was wondering if you do what rom your on....

[Q] Losing 3G/4G using AxisM

I am trying to figure out why my 3G/4G cuts in and out from time to time while using AxisM RLS19-21. When i reboot I will see 4G for a second or two then I will have 3G, but this cuts out and renders me dataless. I can still text and make phone calls but I cannot access the internet I have a verizon wireless galaxy s3. I have done clean installs of each ROM and I still lose my 4G/3G. My girlfriend has the same phone with AxisM RLS18 and is experiencing no issues with data loss. I have searched through the original thread and searched the web, but could not find anything on this issue. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I don't know if my location matters, but I am in Putnam/Dutchess Counties in NY.

I am using baseband I535VRLG1. I wasn't aware that you can change the baseband. I got the phone at its release and used the method in this thread to root. How would I change the baseband?

Here's a list of all of the baseband versions just flash them in recovery, but read everything carefully because there are some issues with the new ones and compatibility and such.

[Q] No Voicemail notifications

ever since changing from Stock xt925 ROM to Cyanogenmod, I dont get voicemail notifications. I've been googling for answers and it seems to be a Kernel issue. I am on Rogers canada and Ive read Bell and Fido have the same issues. I cant believe this isnt fixed yet. Does anybody else have this issue?

I know on other phones there is a way to enable the LTE signal icon, so I am just wondering if anyone has been able to do it on this phone yet?

Any update on this? I'm wondering myself.

It really depends on the rom, whether the use 4G / LTE as the icon. Some roms have the options in the status bar settings to use the opposite.
